NY Times columnist, PAUL KRUGMAN, writes a great piece about the Iraq War, the morons who supported it, and the intelligent, real Americans who didn't.
Hat Tip to "Greenpagan" at RRMB
"Shortly after U.S. forces marched into Baghdad in 2003, The Weekly Standard published a jeering article titled, “The Cassandra Chronicles: The stupidity of the antiwar doomsayers.” Among those the article mocked was a “war novelist” named James Webb, who is now the senator-elect from Virginia".
Yep! Those were the days. I remember well all the Right-Wing Tabloid newzrags like the Weekly Standard and the Washington Times talking about how the anti-war American was "stupid", "doomsayers", and "against our troops".
Well, I wonder how the stupid, un-American asswipes of the Right-Wing Corporate Media feel now?
The New Republic now says they "deeply regret their early support for this war". Yeah, right.
Do they "deeply regret" the name calling and the ridicule they subjected the anti-war movement to?
Neo-Con Traitors

The bottom line is this, Anti-War Liberals = Smart,
Pro-War Neo-Conservanoids = Stupid. And now, not only is Iraq and the nightmare there proof of the point, but we even have a "study group" of Right-Wing Jerkoffs that, after nine months, has concluded the exact same thing the Left tried to tell the Neo-Con idiots in the White House back in '02-'03.
Howard Dean:
February 2003: “I firmly believe that the president is focusing our diplomats, our military, our intelligence agencies, and even our people on the wrong war, at the wrong time. … Iraq is a divided country, with Sunni, Shia and Kurdish factions that share both bitter rivalries and access to large quantities of arms.”
Why didn't they listen? Howard Dean is never wrong. ![]()
Speaker Pelosi
Representative Nancy Pelosi, now the House speaker-elect, October 2002: “When we go in, the occupation, which is now being called the liberation, could be interminable and the amount of money it costs could be unlimited.”
Thank God she's running the congress. ![]()
Al Gore
Al Gore, September 2002: “I am deeply concerned that the course of action that we are presently embarking upon with respect to Iraq has the potential to seriously damage our ability to win the war against terrorism and to weaken our ability to lead the world in this new century.”
Please run for President, Al. ![]()
The Idiot list is unfortunately a bit longer...
Dick(less)Cheney
"We will, in fact, be greeted as liberators.
Dick Cheney "
Yeah, that's what happened alright. ![]()

"I think they're in the last throes, if you will, of the insurgency." June 20, 2005
Last "throes" huh?
George W. Bush
"We found the weapons of mass destruction." –President Bush, in an interview with Polish television, May 29, 2003
Really???
Ari Fleischer
"I think the burden is on those people who think he didn't have weapons of mass destruction to tell the world where they are." July 9, 2003
LOL!
All in all, it just goes to show Americans who the true patriots are. Those who have the intellect and the courage to say "stop and think about what you're doing".
We were right and the idiots were wrong. The Neo-Cons, Republicans, Religofascists, Rush(limp dick)Limbaugh, Sean(Ken Doll)Hannity, Ann(the man)Coulter, Bill(O'Lie)O'Riley, Pat(satan)Robertson, James(backslider)Dobson, Jerry(fat boy)Falwell, Francis(fuck)fukuyama,
and all the "think tank" pinheads at the Heritage Foundation.
Particularly the Supreme Moron of all Richard Perle.
With Americans like these, who needs Al-Qaida?
We told you so, you fucking Right-Wing morons. Next time, listen to your Liberal Superiors.
