The only thing I can think of that's more redundant sounding than a Bush Library would be a Ted Bundy Cheerleader Camp.

Well, the Bush Worshipers want this abomination of a library, but they don't seem to having a very easy time finding a place to put it....

Bush may not be the Anti-Christ but he's without a doubt the Anti-Educator. The instances of Bush stupidity are far too many to list. Some of them amusing, most of them not.

It's no wonder, considering how bad an idea No Child's Behind Left is, that Learning Institutions of Integrity such as Southern Methodist University would hesitate to have such an intellectual travesty on their campus.

The Blog of Paul Burka, the senior executive editor of the magazine Texas Monthly, includes excerpts of a letter written to SMU's president by faculty, administrators, and staff of the university's Perkins School of Theology, worrying about siting the library at the university. In it, they say they would:
...regret to see SMU enshrine attitudes and actions widely deemed as ethically egregious: degradation of habeas corpus, outright denial of global warming, flagrant disregard for international treaties, alienation of long-term U.S. allies, environmental predation, shameful disrespect for gay persons and their rights, a pre-emptive war based on false and misleading premises, and a host of other erosions of respect for the global human community and for this good Earth on which our flourishing depends.

Nice way of saying "no Idiot should have a Library named after them". No shit.
Maybe we should build an Osama Bin Laden Comedy Club too.

According to the article, associate professor of Christian education Susanne Johnson said she "would understand the value of an archive of the Bush administration, and sees how many SMU scholars would benefit from having such a collection on campus. But she said that the campus has been left 'uninformed and naive' about President Bush’s plans to create a policy center to promote his view of the world."

You know that's it. Bush is that vain and that out-of-touch with reality. I guess he figures since the history books will not be kind to him he'll just try to pass his denial and alter-realistic perception of the world on to the next generation of youth.

Some faculty members are not happy generally to be associated with the library of a president who — his librarian wife notwithstanding — isn’t seen as a big fan of intellectual life. When the reported price tag of $500 million for the library was publicized last month, professors didn’t like their institution being linked to the jokes being told. (Conan O’Brien: “President Bush is putting together his presidential library and apparently the library is going to cost $500 million, which will work out to $100 million a book.")

Why don't Poppy Bush and the rest of the pretenders just admit that which they already know? Seeing Jr's face on the front of a Library is almost as saddening as seeing it on the front of the VA Medical Center.
The only way George W. Bush will carry any legacy other than that of a complete and total Bungling Idiot is if we reverse time back to 2000 and give him a second chance.
Of course, as stupid as he is, he'd probably fuck that up as well.
