David Davis: Voting Against Our Troops

Permalink 12:59:43 pm, Categories: Religofascism

It just keeps getting sicker with Davis, doesn't it? Now Davis continues his assault on the American way by voting against support for our soldiers...

David Davis, the disgusting Congressman from TN-1 has the single most miserable, un-American, anti-Christian voting record I've ever seen. Even worthless local politicians like Lamar Alexander and Davis' predecessor Bill Jenkins have done better than this.

U.S. Troop Readiness, Veterans' Health, and Iraq Accountability Act - Vote Passed (218-212, 1 Present, 3 Not Voting)

The House passed this $124 million emergency supplemental bill that provides funds for military operations in Iraq and Afghanistan and sets a timetable for withdrawing troops from Iraq.

Rep. David Davis voted "NO"

In voting against The Troop Readiness Act, David Davis has:

1) Denied our troops the equipment they need to protect themselves.

2) Voted to keep our troops in the middle of trying to police a Civil War.

3) Voted against respectable treatment for our military veterans.

4) Voted against support for military families.

5) Voted to allow the Satanic Liars that started this war to escape responsibility....

Of course, Davis was simply voting against bringing our soldiers home. After all, his kids aren't there. If they were he'd be siding with those of us that want our soldiers home yesterday. David Davis' corporate brown-noser agenda will always be more important to him than the lives of the brave people that serve our country. That's your kids, not his.

Those of you who voted for this miserable excuse for a statesman have shamed North East Tennessee beyond belief.

What the fuck were you thinking?
