Jerry Falwell has never preached the true Gospel of Christ. He has always been a confused, intellectually challenged, red-faced screaming blowhard that never possessed the skills, or the desire for that matter, to discern the literal from the parable in scripture. This lack of fundamental knowledge has led many a well meaning worshiper astray and confused them as to the truth of the word Jesus brought.

Jesus said Love or Perish not Divide and Conquer.

Jesus never mentioned Queers. Not once. Jesus never said hire an assassin to try and kill Larry Flynt and Alan Rickman (it can't be proven, but many of us know).
Jesus never said it was okay to drag His Holy Name through the political filth and He never said it was okay to live like a king, stuffing your gluttonous face while others starve.

Fact is, Jerry Falwell had no clue who Jesus was or what he meant when He said that salvation was for all mankind once the Jews rejected it. He couldn't even comprehend that the Bible clearly teaches us that "Adam & Eve"..."Adam & Steve"...whatever, were not the first people on earth.
Falwell chased away those "sinners" that Christ ordered the faithful to seek out and convert by projecting an example of Love, Generosity, and acceptance.

The reality is that the "Rapturing" of Falwell is the best thing to happen to Christianity and the name of Jesus in a long, long time. Perhaps when the likes of Pat Robertson, James Dobson, Ron Parsley, Benny Hinn, Fred Phelps and the rest of the 'gimmie your money and trust me' clan join Falwell where all lying preachers go, Jesus can begin to regain His reputation as the Prince of Peace and King of Love.

Of course, there are and will be more Falwells to slander the word of life. But they will always get theirs in the end.
