A brief recap...
15 of the 19 9/11 hijackers were Saudi Nationals. Saudi and the "Royal Family" are practitioners of Wahhabi Islam, a tiny, loose cannon sect of Sunni Islam. The same sect that Osama Bin Laden belongs to.
We now know what has been believed for some time, the Saudis are supplying funds and weapons to the same Sunni insurgents that our troops are fighting.
So, why is Gorge Bush giving them more weapons?
I guess it's almost impossible to be shocked by the treasonous actions of the Bush Regime after all the vile and evil things we've witnessed, but just when you think they can't stoop any lower, they somehow manage to gravitate to the very bottom yet again.
As the USA Today reports, and the Iraq Study Group supports, Saudis are funding the Sunni insurgency in Iraq. But....our guys are fighting the Sunni insurgency in Iraq. The USA Today is totally untrustworthy most of the time, but even they can't ignore this.
They begin like the Right-Wing shills they are by stating...
"Private Saudi citizens are giving millions of dollars to Sunni insurgents in Iraq and much of the money is used to buy weapons, including shoulder fired anti-aircraft missiles, according to key Iraqi officials and others familiar with the flow of cash."
Walking hand in hand with terror

Now, why did they write "private Saudi Citizens". Trying to divert attention away from The Saudi Royal Terrorist Family are we? Should have been a little more subtle.
It's obvious that the Saudi Royals are nervous about the Iraq war. They are mortal enemies with Iran and it's Shiite Islam sect. Since Saddam was the only thing keeping Shiite fundamentalism at bey, and now he's gone, Iraq (which has a Shiite majority to begin with) is basically West Iran.
Nice work, Neocons.
If we pull out of Iraq (which we should have done yesterday), Saudi Arabia will have it's worst enemy (next to Israel) on it's northern border.
Now, who stands to lose the most if Shiite Islamic Revolution moves into Saudi? Not the "private Saudi citizens". They're already some of most oppressed people on earth.
The Royals, they'll be the ones hanging from street lights when the smoke clears.
No, it's not "private citizens", though obviously those that have money would give. No, it's those with the most money and the most to lose. The Saudi Government...
"there is a growing danger that the Saudi leadership will try to protect its interests by supporting Sunni radicals in their fight against Iranian-backed Shiites, even though these same fighters are also rabidly anti-American. That could have ominous consequences for the long-standing, though always complicated, alliance between Riyadh and Washington."
"Rabidly anti-American"? The Saudis support them, and Bush is giving them weapons?
I guess the question is, who's stupid enough to think that those same weapons won't kill an innocent Iraqi or even one of our own?...
"The Bush administration is preparing a package of arms sales to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states that could be worth some $20 billion over the next 10 years, a senior U.S. defense official said on Saturday."
The outting of Valrerie Plame was bad enough, but this may be the most loathsome kind of treason I've ever heard of. Give weapons to a people that will give them to the guys that our guys are fighting...
This is pure insanity.
The Iraq Study Group fingers the Saudis as a source of support for the insurgents. How much support is not yet known.
What is known is this, George W. Bush and his horde of imps seem to be doing everything they can to get as many of our troops killed as possible.
This has got to stop, it has to stop now.
The Saudis have produced the 9/11 hijackers, they have tampered with our elections, they are supporting our enemies in Iraq, they gouge us for oil, and Bush is giving them weapons.
How long are we going to put up with this?
Early on, the Congress is ready to block the sale if they can. Somebody had better do something fast. This government is out of control and getting worse every day.
