NY police commissioner, Ray Kelly, has seemingly found his way into the pockets of the Regime. Kelly, who was once a great man, has submitted to the fear mongering, rights suppressing, propaganda spreading Right Wing ideology. You may have been a brave man in your youth, Kelly. But you're just another coward now....

There is nothing that violates the rights of Americans more effectively than Profiling. Be it racial, cultural, religious or any other type. Profiling is the tool that has been used for decades in the Drug War to attempt to pick out "criminals" from a crowd. If your hair is too long, have a Grateful Dead sticker on your car, or wear a Bob Marley T-Shirt, law enforcement is trained to consider you guilty until proven innocent.

Fascism at it worst.

Recently, A NYPD "report" conducted under the guise of anti "terrorism" efforts has set the stage for yet a newer and far more dangerous type of Profiling. The development of this new Profiling outline is now under way and will prove to be far more broad based, and far more Constitution-executing than any before it.

Their 90-page report highlighted how ordinary people in Western nations, with unremarkable jobs and with little or no criminal histories, sometimes come to adopt a terrorist ideology.

So, if you're financially sub par (poor to the rest of us) or just an average citizen with no criminal record, you could come to adopt a "terrorist ideology"? What is a "terrorist ideology" anyway? A justifiable anger toward the filth in your government? Dissent? Questioning authority? A desire to change your country for the better?
You can bet it's all that and more. Actually, with Profiling, "terrorist ideology" can be anything they want it to be. There is no oversight of Profiling. No checks and balances. It's all done by the seat of law enforcement's pants and they simply aren't smart enough nor patriotic enough to be trusted with such an easy method to abuse the rights of citizens. American law enforcement is severely depleated in the integrity category as it is. Now this?
The potential for disaster is far too great to allow.

Caving in in the face of terror

This has little if anything to do with Muslims as they try to suggest and everything to do with violating the rights of Americans as a whole...

The report identified four steps in the process of radicalization: pre-radicalization, self-identification, indoctrination and jihadization. Pre-radicalization, it said, “describes an individual’s world — his or her pedigree, lifestyle, religion, social status, neighborhood and education

Pre-Radicalization? Becoming aware that the fascists that control your country are trying to destroy the freedom you have always enjoyed?

Self-identification? Finding out that you're a Liberal? Having a Bush Sucks sticker on your car?

Indoctrination? Joining a Liberal blog or message board? Kelly did say "the internet is the new Afghanistan". Sure, it's the single dumbest statement you've ever heard, but they're rollin' with it.

Jihadization? Believing other than what the establishment believes? Not submitting to their fascist rule or accepting the states version of the national religion?

Profiling of this nature is a violation of existing federal law. Not to mention everything we, as Americans, believe in...

“While aggressive counterterrorism policies are to be commended, this report appears to treat all young Muslims as suspects and to lay the groundwork for wholesale surveillance of Muslim communities without there being any sign of unlawful conduct,” he said. “To target Muslims in this way would mark a dangerous and unlawful erosion of the line separating the police from lawful religious activity.”

All religious beliefs will lose their protection, all of them. But that's only one small aspect of this transgression. It is aimed at labeling all those that engage in dissent of any kind "terrorists".

This particular profiling program is a victory for Osama Bin Laden and Al Qaida. This is the erosion of freedom they wanted to see in our country. And cowards like Bush, Ray Kelly, and all who support this travesty have handed our freedom to the enemy on a silver platter.
We may well have reached the end of the line in this country when a fascist regime can implement this kind of constitutional violation while congress stands by and does exactly nothing to stop it.

Ultimately, this kind of profiling will only serve as a guideline for any genuine potential "domestic terrorist" to change their habits to avoid the profile. Kinda like the smuggler that cuts his hair, puts on a shirt and tie, and drives a conservative car with a trunk full of Meth.

May God have mercy on what's left of this nation, and may He damn those who seek it's destruction from within. Namely the NeoCons that occupy the White House and all those that support them.
