The Return of the Son of BushLaden
After a dismal report from the GAO, BushCo swings the propaganda machine into full production once again...
LOL!
Another Bin Laden tape? Isn't it interesting how these tapes show up at such opportune times?
Just before the invasion of Iraq...
November 2002: Aljazeera broadcasts an audio tape in which a voice attributed to Bin Laden says the "youths of God" are planning more attacks against the US.
Bin Laden reads his last will and testament...
February 2003: An audio tape of Bin Laden reading a poetic last will and testament is aired on the British-based Islamic Al-Ansaar news agency. Bin Laden says he wants to die a martyr in a new attack against the US.
September 2003: In the first video image of Bin Laden in
nearly two years, he is shown walking through rocky terrain with his deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri. Two taped messages accompanied the video.
In one, a voice purporting to be Bin Laden's praises the "great damage to the enemy" on 11 September and mentions five hijackers by name. In the other, a voice said to be that of al-Zawahiri threatens more attacks on Americans.
BinLaden '07: Damn, he looks good for a dead guy.

BinLaden '01: One foot in the grave.

...hey, wait a minute????
Ah well....
Then the recently deceased Bin Laden rolls out lots of material during the ELECTION YEAR of 2004...
December 2004: In an audio tape, the al-Qaida leader
calls on Iraqis to boycott elections and names as his Iraq deputy Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, a Jordanian blamed for major anti-US attacks in Iraq.December 2004: In an audio tape posted on a website, bin Laden exonerates fighters of responsibility for violence in Saudi Arabia and calls on them to stop the flow of oil to the West.
October 2004 (so close to November): Aljazeera broadcasts a video of Bin Laden saying the US can avoid another attack like those of 11 September 2001, if it stops threatening the security of Muslims.
May 2004: In an online audio tape released on Islamic
forums, Bin Laden offers rewards of gold for the killing of US and UN officials.April 2004: Bin Laden offers a truce to European countries that do not attack Muslims. It vows revenge against the United States for the Israeli assassination of Hamas founder Shaikh Ahmed Yassin.
January 2004: Bin Laden says on an audio tape broadcast
on Aljazeera that the US-led war in Iraq is the
beginning of the occupation of Arab Gulf states for
their oil. He calls on Muslims to keep fighting in the Middle East.
BushLaden then seems to go on vacation for the entire year of 2005. I guess the tapes weren't needed with Bush obtaining a second term in office. Fear is exploitable but boring when not needed.
2005 : Not a fucking word. Save perhaps one tape that was old and released in early January (I'm not really sure about that one).
Then at the beginning of another crucial election year that saw Republicans handily defeated in record fashion...
January 2006 : In excerpts of an audio tape aired by Aljazeera, bin Laden says al-Qaida is making preparations for attacks in the United States
Seems like every time BushCo needed a boost, either electoral or when Congress was reviewing war spending, here comes Osama to the rescue of Bush and his PNAC criminal cronies. I guess when all else fails just whip up another BushLaden tape and scare the shit out of the cowardly Republican base. Works every time!
Now, with a failing "surge" and a failed policy, BushCo is under renewed threat to lose even more Congressional support and with renewed calls for defunding, we have yet another most opportune BushLaden tape to be scared shitless over.
The Question is, it seems, who's stupid enough to believe these tapes come from a guy that was on kidney dialysis three years ago and had Hepatitis C, yet is now the picture of health?
All of the BinLaden "tapes" that have been released by BushLaden since BinLaden's death have been only audio tapes, vid captions with stills, and one vid with old footage.
When BushCo says a tape was "probably" made by Bin Laden, try to remember that he's "probably" dead.
Then ask yourself who's interests it serves to keep you thinking he's still alive.
