It’s not getting any better. I started out pissed off at the world. Found some great moments in music (God, I love those YouTube Rockers) that brought tears to my eyes, and now I’m just pissed off at the world again.

It’s like, when you have this miserable feeling ripping away at you, every tune you listen to says something about it. Like when you have a broken heart. Every song is about the way you feel…

You run into all these strange jams that seem to have a similar theme…

With the most unfortunate departure of John Edwards from the Presidential race, we now find our Democratic selves left only with the choices the media picked for us….

Hell, it doesn’t do any good to warn anyone any more. Many genuine Liberals all around the country have been warning the party not to let the media choose the candidates. What do they go and do? Let Fox News decide who our candidates are going to be.

So, in the absence of a candidate that can actually win in November, and in the interests of not giving up the fight, we at TN420 will now reluctantly lend our support to Barack Obama.

At least he’s not a shameless corporate whore, nor does he have known major ties to the Israeli lobby save his relationship with Joe Lieberbitch.
He did drugs and had the courage to be honest about it and on that wise, he may be inclined to put a stop to the drug war as it exists.
Maybe not. Who knows?

Still, A Clinton is simply unacceptable as a nominee. So now that we have only two choices left we’ll stick with the better of the two persons involved, and be making plans to suffer yet another four years of Republican White House failure most likely in the form of John McCain.

All in all, things don’t look real good on the horizon.

Well, Looks like it’s going to be President McCain after all. John Edwards, siting inability to compete financially, has apparently decided to drop out.
It’s sad to think that an American of this quality, with this kind of heart, will not be our next president.

What do we have left? A good man yet rookie Senator who happens to be black and has a “over there” sounding name…

…and a piece of DLC garbage with Bush-Lite written all over her.

Edwards leaves the race having made a big impact on the two remaining candidates. His populist rhetoric forced his rivals to compete for union support, and he was the first out of the gate with detailed plans for universal health care and education, putting pressure on the field to match him. The former trial lawyer arguably won a majority of the debates, time and again challenging his opponents to refuse money from lobbyists and speed up their plans for withdrawing combat troops from Iraq.

While Hillary Clinton revels in winning a meaningless, delegate void primary in Florida and Barack Obama enjoys cocktails with the Kennedy’s….

John Edwards is headed to New Orleans. After canceling appearances in Alabama and North Dakota, John Edwards is returning to New Orleans to continue the mission of spotlighting poverty, our most prolific dilemma as a nation, and to remind both the Democratic party and the nation as a whole what this election cycle is really all about.

It’s about the people. Plain ol’ everyday ordinary people.

It’s not about who’s a woman or who’s black. It’s not about making some sort of historical political statement by force-feeding the two most unlikely candidates to the voting public. It’s about who eats and who doesn’t. Who sleeps in security and who doesn’t. Who wears shoes and gets to go to school. It’s about who lives and who dies, in Iraq and right here at home.

While all the vanity, all the egos and all the self-serving arrogance shown to us by the other candidates gets TV coverage like the latest bullshit reality show or a fucking sports event, the only real candidate will be in the still suffering Big Easy doing what makes America great, thinking of others and putting those thoughts into action.

The only reality show worth watching

Who knows, maybe Bill Clinton will take a break from making excuses for his childish behavior long enough to join John Edwards in New Orleans and help build a few houses.
On second thought, don’t hold your breath.

The choice is clear. The rest is up to your eyes.

Just a quick report for the public record

The Actual process appeared to be fine with these exceptions.

1) The names of the candidates that have left the race, Biden, Dodd, Richardson, Kucinich were still on the ballot. That’s highly irresponsible in my opinion as many voters probably aren’t aware of exactly who’s in and who’s out.

2) No signage at the YWCA in Bristol indicating that early Democratic voting was underway. Nothing on either marquee and nothing in the lot. Only one sign, on 81/2 x 11 paper stuck in the tinted window.

That’s district 1 for ya.

C’mon, Tennessee Democrats, this is crunch time.
There’s a lot of Feb. 5 states and I hope they all cast smart ballots, but Tennessee is my state and I’m going to judge my own more harshly than the others.

Don’t be stupid, Tennessee Democrats. We have a history of stupid voting. Voting for vermin like Harold Ford Jr., Lincoln Davis, Bart Gordon, Cooper, Tanner….every one of them have voted against the Democratic majority in Congress and supported the Bush Regime consistently.
Hillary Clinton is just like them, part of the Rubber Stamp Brigade and the leader of the “Spineless” Democraps in the Senate along with her buddy, Red Joe Lieberman.

If we want Tennessee to begin to realize it’s full potential as a haven for freedom and individuality, we have to stop voting for Depublicans that are swift to sacrifice common decency and righteousness by worshiping the status quo.
These people are a blight on this state and a disgrace to our representation in Washington.

John Edwards will set things right not only for Tennessee, but for the rest of our nation as well. We must have a Democratic candidate that can win in November. Hillary and Obama simply cannot.

I guess that between Bill’s big mouth and Hillary’s arrogance, the South Carolina Dems decided to make a statement. It’s nice to see someone lose that actually deserves to sometimes.

Gotta complement the South Carolina women to be sure. You voted with your brains instead of your (XX)chromosomes and that took strength. I understand the desire of women long oppressed to see a female President. But a John Edwards or a Barack Obama will guard all of your rights and equality perhaps even more closely, and have a much better chance of getting elected in November.

A challenging decision, but you made a good one under the circumstances. Hopefully the voters in the Super Tuesday states will come to their senses and follow your example of courage.
Look at it this way, you’re smarter than a majority of the New Hampster Democrats.

The only thing that matters is the false images created in the heads of less informed voters.

Personally, I’d love to see you good folks in SC turn genius and vote John Edwards. But the real priority now is preventing a Clinton from being the Democratic nominee. Take care of that monumental task, everything else will fall into place.

Show them, South Carolina. Show them that Americans reject Oligarchy. Show them that we reject the sheer arrogance and Beltway-Insider elitism that is the Bush/Clinton Dynasty.

Anyway, it seems that Hillary has abandoned South Carolina to campaign elsewhere. But before leaving, she left her proxy behind, Billary. Solely for the purpose of Swift-Boating Barack Obama until the primary. A desperate tactic by a desperate campaign.
The Clinton camp can feel it slipping away.
What does this mean? Hillary turning her back on SC?
It could mean that they feel they have SC wrapped up. But if that was the case, why leave the Bill Dog behind?
It could also mean that they know they’ve lost SC and need to jump ahead leaving Billary behind to sling mud just in case.
Either way, it’s a slap in the faces of the Carolina people.

Trouble is, if one Clinton is one too many, what does two Clintons give us? A headache and a divided party.
On one side we have the Bozos that feel that the kind of vicious attacks we see from Pit Bull Bill are ok, and on the other, those of us that are pretty much sick of the Clinton arrogance, not to mention the name. These creeps actually act as though they have some kind of divine right to the throne. I feel they really believe they do.

The way Bill snaps, every time, when someone says anything challenging then proceeds to ramble incoherently about how it’s Obama’s fault and yadda, yadda, shows me that the audacity of us peons questioning him is more than he can bear. Remind you of anyone?

Recently in South Carolina, Dick Harpootlian, former chairman of the South Carolina Democratic Party and Obama supporter, compared Bill’s shameful tactics and surrogate campaigning to Lee Atwater, the now deceased king liar and slanderer of the Republican Party and guru to Karl Rove.

Rough comment? I’ll say, but perfectly accurate. As a matter of fact, Clinton is clearly taking a page from the Atwater Bible with the blatant distortions and responding in red-faced anger when questioned about it. If you’re old enough to remember Atwater, you’ve seen it before.

All things considered, the SC race looks very close but we believe/hope that the nasty, scandalous, arrogant manner in which the Clintons are conducting themselves will wear thin with primary voters and push Edwards or Obama higher on the appreciation list where they should be.

The hatred or fear of men.

I had been wondering what it was that has so severely clouded the judgment of Democratic women as we enter the election cycle. Now I know.
Many Democratic women it seems are turning their backs on change, and reality, for reasons as petty as saying a hardy Fuck You to men in general. Their hearts are not filled with the righteous indignation that is the glue that has bound the Democratic Left together for the last seven years, they’re hearts are not filled with the desire to end the war and bring our people home, they’re hearts are not filled with the compassion for the poor and the abused of our society. They’re filled with the hatred of men.

Since we began the election cycle, only Iowa Democrats have proved to have their hearts in the fight for a better America. New Hampshire, particularly the Democratic women there, failed. Nevada, failed.
Failed to be informed voters and/or failed to face the truth about the Clinton Cabal intentionally. They failed, in their self pity, to choose the best candidate for the job and a candidate that can actually win in November.

Either way, these caucuses have failed to ignore the media push to force a candidate on us. They have bought the big lie yet again. All for their ignorance or the hatred of men.

These people have ignored the close ties between the Bush and Clinton families. They have turned a blind eye to the plight of the poor and needy of America. They have virtually stated that corporate influence in government (aka Fascism) is acceptable.
They have stated that having a pervert wandering around the White House (Bill) is fine with them, just as long as there’s a vagina in the solid oak desk chair.
Clinton supporters (mostly women) have stated emphatically that the DLC and it’s ties to the PNAC/AIPAC Zionist lobby, and people like Will Marshall who started the war in Iraq, are okay with them. Just as long as there’s a President with a dress on.

As a result, the Democratic party finds itself once again on the eve of destruction. Poised to squander a golden opportunity to take the country down a new path to freedom with a new outlook on the future.

The Republican Party couldn’t have asked for more.

Wake up, Democratic women. Your Misandric ways will not only harm the male species, but you’ll be screwing yourselves too.
Hillary will not end the war. She will not help the poor, or the middle class. She will not lead us to a brighter future. She will be the Bush Third Term by winning and the Bush Third Term by losing, and you’ll have no one to blame but yourselves.

Briefly, back in March, the Nevada Democratic Party agreed to set up caucus locations on the Vegas strip for low-income shift workers, many of them members of the Nevada Culinary Union who commute long distances to work and wouldn't be able to get home in time to caucus. It was a well received idea until the Culinary Union endorsed Barack Obama and the Nevada State Education Association, whose top officials support Clinton, sued to shut down the caucus sites. The Clinton camp played dumb until yesterday, when Bill Clinton came out in favor of the lawsuit. More at Link

So, this is Democratic? We, as a party, railed against Republican attempts to disenfranchise voters of lower incomes from solidly Democratic districts. Now, the Clinton Camp seeks to do the same thing to Obama supporters?
Bill Clinton, through the Drug War, managed to disenfranchise over half a million voters by hanging felonies on people that committed victimless crimes. Why wouldn't they try something similar again? It worked, and we lost in 2000 and 2004.

Like we've been saying, there's no difference between Bush and Clinton, and the sooner the Democratic voters wise up to that fact the better off we'll all be.

In a blow to the Clinton campaign effort to disenfranchise Nevada voters that support Obama, a Federal Judge has ruled that the Casino Caucuses can be implemented. A ruling that greatly benefits Barack Obama and his supporters.

Some clown from BET (Black Entertainment Television) named Robert L. Johnson was apparently put to the task of using truth that Obama told about his past drug use as a pretext for a swift-boat attempt.
Johnson, a prominent Clinton ally and apparent Uncle Tom attempted to revive the issue of Obama's admitted past drug use....

Introducing Clinton at an event in Columbia, Johnson, the founder of Black Entertainment Television, said both Clintons "have been deeply and emotionally involved in black issues since Barack Obama was doing something in the neighborhood -- and I won't say what he was doing, but he said it in his book."

Also, very recently, Hillary herself slipped and was caught attempting to minimize the efforts of Martin Luther King in the civil rights movement and bestow credit for civil rights advances to Lyndon Johnson. The comment was put forth in such a way as to suggest the politicians are more important than the activists when it comes to advancing liberty.
Indeed, a truly shameful moment. But we predicted that after Iowa put Hillary in her place, "She will continue to say and do the wrong things and more dirt will flow out about her, Bill and their staff".
Sure, Clinton has been involved in advancing civil liberties, but that's to be expected when one's career requires getting "the black vote" from time to time.

Presidential Candidate John Edwards, very astutely, had this to say about the Clinton remarks...

"As someone who grew up in the segregated South, I feel an enormous amount of pride when I see the success that Sen. Barack Obama is having in this campaign," Edwards said during an appearance at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Sumter, S.C.

Now most of the sources quoted by "Dr" Aman are somewhere between Low and No on the credibility scale for the most part. But when you read the foul things Hillary and Bill have allegedly said to their subordinates and each other, then read and hear the subtle racist remarks and race oriented manipulation that is emanating from the Clinton camp today, one can't help but think that the pieces of the puzzle are beginning to find place.
We've seen Hillary the emotional roller coaster both come nearly to tears and snap in anger as she did at the New Hampshire debate. It kinda goes with the MO.

Personal destruction is not just the Clinton politics. It's their policy.

Bill Clinton has cheated blacks during campaigns before. Playing the sax and having a great time on MTV, talking about how much he feels blacks deserve a fair shake, then jailing more blacks for non violent, drug related crime than any president before him. Some 87% of Drug War victims under Clinton's watch were black.

The Clinton's history, coupled with present efforts to "leak" remarks then claim they "don't advocate" what was said paints a very grim picture of the true character, or lack thereof, of the most polarizing presidential candidate in the race.

And polarizing she is. Do we need more of that, America? After fifteen years of the most polarizing politics imaginable, the last seven being the most exhausting, do we really need four to eight more years of political agitation when we don't have to have it?

Tell me, with Bill wondering around the White House all by his lonesome, how long will it take for female employees to begin telling the stories of his advances and horn-dog activity? It's a situation guaranteed to rise quickly and not fade away.

All in all, it takes no more than a clear head and a little conventional wisdom to see that another Clinton Administration would do nothing but continue to tear this nation apart and leave us going nowhere but down.
We have to stop electing these self-serving insiders and give our nation the new blood it thirsts for so.

A Clinton candidacy will be the swan song of the Democratic Progressive movement. Her ability to divide the party can only prove beneficial to the Republican's hopes of keeping the White House.

The Department of Homeland (seig hile!) Security is a disgrace, but we knew that already, didn't we? We watched in horror as DHS caused the confusion and failure during the Hurricane Katrina disaster in New Orleans in which many American citizens were left to rot and die.

Today, the Seattle Times Reports that Michael (Himmler) Chertoff, the head of the Department of Nazi Paranoia, has decided to try to push ahead with the Real ID Program.

New type of driver's license faces stiff opposition

WASHINGTON — Americans born after Dec. 1, 1964, will have to get more secure driver's licenses in the next six years under post-Sept. 11 security rules to be unveiled today by federal officials.

The Homeland Security Department (DHS) has spent years crafting the final regulations for the Real ID Act, designed to make it harder for terrorists, illegal immigrants and con artists to get government-issued identification. The effort once envisioned to take effect in 2008 has been delayed in the hopes of winning over skeptical state officials.

Even with more time, more federal help and technical advances, Real ID faces stiff opposition from civil-liberties groups.

To address some of those concerns, the government plans to phase in a secure ID initiative that Congress passed into law in 2005. Now, DHS plans a key deadline in 2011 and further measures to be enacted three years later, according to congressional employees who spoke on condition of anonymity. DHS officials briefed legislative aides on the details late Thursday.

To make the plan more appealing to cost-conscious states, federal authorities drastically reduced the expected cost from $14.6 billion to $3.9 billion, said Homeland Security officials familiar with the plan.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has objected to the plan. In its written objection, the ACLU claims Real ID amounts to the "first-ever national identity card system," which "would irreparably damage the fabric of American life."

The Sept. 11 attacks were the main motivation for the changes. The hijacker-pilot who flew into the Pentagon, Hani Hanjour, had a total of four driver's licenses and ID cards from three states.

By 2014, anyone seeking to board an airplane or enter a federal building would have to present a Real ID-compliant driver's license, with the notable exception of those older than 50, Homeland Security officials said.

Officials said the risk of someone in that age group being a terrorist, illegal immigrant or con artist is much less. By 2017, even older people will have to have a Real ID-compliant card to board a plane.

Pure age discrimination simply because this is the standard age group of "terrorists". Problem is, "terrorists" don't need IDs to cross the wide open and under watched Mexican border. They don't need IDs to detonate bombs. They don't need ID's to kill.
The Real IDs are for American citizens, not foreign terrorists. They're not issuing them in Pakistan, they're issuing them here. To us.
Americans must now prove that we are not "terrorists".

Several people filed out midspeech, and the room was largely quiet as he spoke, with few interruptions for laughter or applause. He talked about his administration, his foundation work and some about his wife.

You have started the journey of freeing America from the Bush/Clinton monarchy. They are exactly the same kind of power hungry, corporate whores and all any of them ever did was humiliate the nation and lower the bar of common decency in government.
Placing third was a great, big, open-handed Jap-slap in the face of Bill and Hillary Clinton. We at TN420 salute you for it.

No one named Clinton, no one named Bush. Surely we've learned our lesson by now.

Barack Obama places first, Billary places last. Now, where does that leave John Edwards? On top of the fucking world.

No one made out better than Edwards in the Iowa Caucus. With Obama being little more than a novelty who's appeal will diminish eventually, Edwards shines like a new pair of Italian loafers.
Having not a fraction of the money that other candidates have, and having received virtually no media coverage, John Edwards places second between the two most hyped players in the game. That's the political equivalent of a Grand Slam as far as the Edwards camp is concerned.
And this nation is that much closer to being healed as a result.

Now, with New Hampshire being mostly about the northern views, Clinton may place better there depending on how stupid or smart the Dems in New Hampshire are. Obama should do at least well there and hopefully the New Hampshire yankees can put their South-Hating down long enough to think of their country first and push Edwards to the very top. This remains to be seen.

So congratulations to John Edwards. With any luck and dedication at all, he should be the next President of the United States.

Finally, having just read that Chris Dodd has dropped out of the race, we wish to thank Mr. Dodd and wish him well as one of our most courageous Senators. His service is greatly appreciated.

Joe Biden just dropped out too but that DLC Pig can go fuck himself.
