We actually wrote this about a year ago (Apr 20 ‘07), but it seems to pertain to recent developments fairly well (i.e. we told you so).

Don’t let the “Media Darling” thing fool you. John McCain is a disaster waiting to happen. A tragedy in search of occurrence. He is everything but the straight talking hero he claims to be.

This is what the Republican Party is all about. Sheer stupidity. This is why I suspect that McCain will be embraced over Thompson, Romney, Giulianni (or however the fuck you spell it), and any other Repig hopeful.
McCain best represents the stupidity, depravity, and overall treachery of the average Republican.

Yep. The Repig Party trying to move from one incompetent idiot to another. The last thing this country needs is yet another Republican that is poised to continue the PNAC agenda of destabilizing the Middle East for the benefit of Israel, Major Corporations, and Fascists everywhere.

But we knew this! Of course we did. Global immorality, reckless abandon, death of the innocent…that’s the Republican Agenda in a nutshell.
Who better than a kiss-ass idiot like McCain to be the next puppet?

A year before, the act had been strengthened, with bipartisan support, to compel the Pentagon to deploy more resources with greater speed to locate and rescue missing men. How many “Veteran Friends” do you really have, John?

RAW STORY spoke last week with Kiley, as well as Ted Sampley, a North Carolina-based publisher who has been harshly criticizing McCain for more than 10 years. Sampley teamed up with Kiley in 2004 to found a similar group that targeted Senator John Kerry as he ran for president. They see McCain as an apologist for Vietnam’s Communist government who sold out fellow POWs and servicemen missing in action from America’s lengthy war in Southeast Asia.

Of course, there’s the Forrestal and Oriskany disasters where McCain also performed in a questionable manner…

During the fighting of the fire and while VF-74 and VF-11 were still counting their dead, McCain was helicoptered off the Forrestal to the USS Oriskany, which suffered a major fire on October 27, 1966, that killed 44 sailors. In that event, thousand pound bombs were jettisoned away from the fire but the lessons of the Oriskany went unheeded by the Forrestal’s officers, including McCain, who served with the VA-163 Saints on board the Oriskany when the fire on that vessel occurred. On October 26, 1967, McCain was shot down over North Vietnam during a bombing sortie from the Oriskany.

Now aside from all this veteran stuff, we have one of the finest examples of pure, unadulterated dishonesty and Conservative political greed. The Keating 5.

Our captainkona’s own father was a victim of this reprehensible theft. Many elderly retirees lost everything they had ever worked for and John McCain had no problem being a part of this disgusting, immoral activity.

What does this McCain review tell us? Several things…

1) McCain may be a traitor.

2) McCain is a crook and a wholly dishonest man.

3) McCain is a hap-hazard klutz that disaster follows around like a puppy follows it’s owner.

We’ve had enough disaster when it comes to Presidents.
We’ve had enough lies and double speak. We’ve had enough humiliation and most of all, we’ve had enough unnecessary loss of life.

Trouble is, like Bush, McCain has only failure, deceit and bungling ignorance to offer America and the world.
He is the quintessential Republican candidate.

Nothing has changed. The Republicans are still bottom-feeders willing to sacrifice honor, dignity and the lives of brave people for a tax cut and a copy of the Ten Commandments.
