Wanna Talk Churches and Preachers?

Permalink 10:27:36 pm, Categories: The Founding Father's Flying Circus

Due to the moronic trend of blaming Barack Obama for words his nutty old preacher spoke.
Let’s take a brief look at Hillary and Bill’s Church for good measure….

Interesting, here’s where the Clinton church explains that they will allow “The Gay” to attend but don’t count on being an officer or anything else official.

From the Dallas News:

The church is historic Foundry UMC in Washington, D.C., which Bill and Hillary Clinton attended during his presidency. Here’s the story, a version of which appeared first in the Dallas-based United Methodist Reporter:

A UMNS Report
By Robin Russell*

Foundry United Methodist Church in Washington, D.C., has changed its policy to recognize same-sex unions in special ceremonies that fall just short of an official wedding.

Though it is among a handful of United Methodist churches that do so, the action, which became effective Feb. 1, has made headlines in The Washington Post and other newspapers. Foundry was the church attended by President Bill Clinton and his wife, now-U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.), when he was in office.

In a pastoral letter to the congregation last November, the Rev. Dean Snyder, senior pastor, announced his plan to begin leading services that “recognize and honor lesbian and gay committed relationships.”

These church services, however, will not be “ceremonies that celebrate homosexual unions,” he wrote, citing the denomination’s Book of Discipline sanction against United Methodist clergy performing such ceremonies. Snyder said that his action reflects “an attempt to be ecclesiastically obedient while at the same time offering pastoral care to our members.”

And from the United Methodist Book of Discipline:

“Since the practice of homosexuality is incompatible with Christian teaching, self-avowed practicing homosexuals* are not to be accepted as candidates, ordained as ministers or appointed to serve in The United Methodist Church.”

*Footnote –- “‘Self-avowed practicing homosexual’ is understood to mean that a person openly acknowledges to a bishop, district superintendent, district committee of ordained ministry, board of ordained ministry or clergy session that the person is a practicing homosexual.” (Book of Discipline, Par. 304.3)
bullet “Homosexual persons no less than heterosexual persons are individuals of sacred worth. All persons need the ministry and guidance of the church in their struggles for human fulfillment, as well as the spiritual and emotional care of a fellowship that enables reconciling relationships with God, with others, and with self. Although we do not condone the practice of homosexuality and consider this practice incompatible with Christian teaching, we affirm that God’s grace is available to all. We commit ourselves to be in ministry for and with all persons.” (From “The Nurturing Community,” a section of the church’s Social Principles, Par. 65G).
bullet “The council on shall be responsible for ensuring that no board, agency, committee, commission, or council shall give United Methodist funds to any gay caucus or group, or otherwise use such funds to promote the acceptance of homosexuality. The council shall have the right to stop such expenditures.* This restriction shall not limit the church’s ministry in response to the HIV epidemic.”

“*Reference is made to a Judicial Council Decision (491) that authorized the right of an annual conference to use funds to study homophobia and another (592) that gave the General Conference the right to create and fund a study of homosexuality.” (Book of Discipline, Par. 806.12)
bullet “We affirm the sanctity of the marriage covenant that is expressed in love, mutual support, personal commitment, and shared fidelity between a man and a woman…Ceremonies that celebrate homosexual unions shall not be conducted by our ministers and shall not be conducted in our churches.” (From Social Principles, Par. 65C).

Now, I’m not gay but many Democratic voters are. Including many of the misandrious Clinton Femocons.

The following is from the Yid with Lid blog. These people are Zionist pigs and I do not advocate them personally, but to many Jews this is anti-Semitism coming from the Clinton church….

Clinton’s Church Publishes Anti-Israel Books

We have spend lots of time criticizing Senator Obama for not publicly rebuking the Anti-Israel stance of his Church. It would not be fair to make the same demand from the other Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton. Her Church, the United Methodist Church also has a worrisome track record to those who support Israel.

The United Methodist Church has never been a big fan of Israel. Take for example last July, Rev. Randy R. Day, chief executive of the General Board of Global Ministries for the United Methodist Church, issued a statement that said: “Neither the attacks of Hezbollah on Israel or the Israeli military actions in Gaza and Lebanon can be justified from the perspective of international law or sound political policy.”

I’m not pro-Israel, but many Clinton supporters are.

Question is, is it fair to hold the Clintons accountable for the anti-gay, anti-Israel stance of their church? We say No.

Anyone else?

Oh! Almost forgot…

Any of you Right-Wing Republican Fundamentalist Pigs in the McCockroach corner remember this?

Falwell said, “What we saw on Tuesday, as terrible as it is, could be miniscule if, in fact, God continues to lift the curtain and allow the enemies of America to give us probably what we deserve.”
Robertson replied, “Well, Jerry, that’s my feeling. I think we’ve just seen the antechamber to terror, we haven’t begun to see what they can do to the major population.”

This election cycle is a shit storm of hypocrisy and none of it is coming from Barack Obama.

Sir,

If you ask for my vote and the evidence is there that you don't like me, why should I give it to you?

The other candidates do not have associations that clearly indicate that they dislike their country or the voters.

It may come as a surprise to the Great Black Hope that it's important.

Of course they do. Hillary Clinton voted for the Patriot Act, voted for the Real ID, and supports the Telecom Immunity and a free pass for Bush for spying. Bush and that entire vile family are the "association" that hates America and Americans.
She has aided and abetted treasonous activity.
This is a slap in the face of all Americans that care about this nation's principals.

She voted for the disaster in Iraq and has supported it ever since. Proof she doesn't give a flying fuck about our troops.

John McCain is a thief and a liar. Nothing more.
His voting record is worse than Clinton's. His "associations" include Jerry Falwell. A Pig that clearly stated (as was clearly indicated in the OP) that "America deserved to be attacked on 9/11"

Sounds to me like neither one of them cares about this country or the principals it was founded on.

Obama's not perfect, but he's not Clinton or McCockroach. That's good enough for me at this point.

Regards,

What better way to shut the mouths of the "Eee gads" crowd than to reveal their own pastor's (spiritual advisor's) tenets!

Nice work.
