Today seems to be Obama Day as Senators galore line up behind him.
Not only did Barack Obama win Bill Richardson’s convented endorsement last week, but now, Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey has also endorsed him delivering yet another slap in face of the Clinton Cabal who hopes to sweep the Penn Primary. Hillary Clinton is favored in the PA polls as of today, but the Casey endorsement is expected to disrupt that lead significantly.
The endorsement came at a very opportune time for Barack Obama.

In addition to this latest bit of Clinton-scorching news, Senators Patrick Leahy of Vermont and Chris Dodd of Connecticut delivered relatively un-cloaked statements that Hillary Clinton should drop out of the race….
From CNN:
Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont, issued the most unvarnished statement Friday, saying Clinton “has every right, but not a very good reason, to remain a candidate for as long as she wants to.”
Sen. Chris Dodd of Connecticut, who sought the Democratic nomination for president himself but threw his support behind Obama after dropping out of the race in January, expressed a similar sentiment Thursday.
“I mean, if a person wants to stay in the race, stay in the race,” he told the National Journal, a Washington magazine.
“But if you have enough people rallying behind what appears to be the likely choice, and I believe the choice is Barack Obama … then I think you have to step up to the plate and say, ‘Enough is enough.’ We want this to be over with.”
More for Obama, less for Clinton with each passing day.
If she remains in the race that’s fine. It’s her right and she has no chance of winning anyway. Obama will continue to do better and Hillary will continue to fall. It’s what’s being done to the Democratic party in the name of pure selfishness and futility that matters most.
And what’s being done ain’t pretty.
