:))

It didn’t take long for the obvious to be backed up by proof. Indeed it is the Clinton Cabal that has sent Rev. Jeremiah Wright on the Smear Obama Tour ‘08.

Thus far, it’s been easier to see through Hillary’s filthy little lies and backstabbing ways than we ever expected.

As transparently foul as Bush himself…..

From the LA Times:

It was the Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds, a former editorial board member of USA Today who teaches at the Howard University School of Divinity. An ordained minister, as New York DailThe Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds and the Rev. Jeremiah Wright at the head table of the National Press Club event Monday which Reynolds helped arrangey News writer Errol Louis points out in today’s column, she was introduced at the press club event as the person “who organized” it.

But guess what? She’s also an ardent longtime booster of Obama’s sole remaining competitor for the Democratic nomination, none other than Sen. Hillary Clinton of New York. It won’t take very much at all for Obama supporters to see in Wright’s carefully arranged Washington event that was so damaging to Obama the strategic, nefarious manipulation of the Clintons.

And there it is there.

…and along came a spider.

Hillary Clinton is filth, her worshipers are filth, her husband and his henchmen are filth.

All that is hidden shall soon be revealed.;D

Obama Slams Rev. Wright as "ridiculous"

Permalink 05:39:16 pm, Categories: Right-Winger Wringer

The black Pat Robertson, Rev. Jeremiah Wright, has chosen his path. He has a book coming out in November and in order to achieve a windfall, he is attempting to sacrifice Barack Obama for a little publicity. Probably at the behest of the McCain/Clinton campaign and some big personal donations. Won’t work, but it’s nonetheless pathetic.

Who set up the speaking tour? Not too hard to figure that one out.
Wright has seemingly abandoned the true gospel for the greenback. He saw $$$$$ and that’s all it took to expose him as the typical Money First-Jesus Last Evanganoid freak show he really is.

It’s sad to see a man who has helped so many poor folks in the past turn away from Jesus to worship the shekel. But it happens every day. Pat Robertson (whom Hillary regularly panders to), Falwell, Hinn, Presley, Dobson…enter Jeremiah Wright.
The new Red Faced, Bible Thumping Jesus Pimp extraordinare’.

Bought? Probably. GOP/DLC money? Most likely. Greed motivated? Most definitely.
Barack Obama stood by this clown even at the risk of providing the Right with ammo to use against him. What does Wright do in return? Sacrifice loyalty on the alter of greed.

Perhaps Obama’s rejection of Wright’s radicalism chaffed Wright’s hide just a tad. Well, he’d better buy some cream or some shit because Barack Obama has just thrown the fool under the bus…

From the LA Times:

Yesterday, we saw a very different vision,” Obama said of Wright’s Washington appearance, which at one point he termed a “performance".

He could hardly have distanced himself farther from the man who officiated at his wedding ceremony and baptized his two children.

Obama described himself as “outraged” by many of Wright’s remarks and “saddened” by what he termed “the spectacle of what we saw yesterday.”

He characterized as “ridiculous” Wright’s notion that the AIDS epidemic may have been a conspiracy inflicted on blacks by the federal government and that Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan should be considered a leading voice in modern times.

Such views …

“offend me. They rightly offend all Americans. They should be denounced.”

And in line after line, he did so.

“When I say I find (Wright’s comments) appalling, I mean it,” Obama said.

And during a Q & A with reporters following his statement, Obama came back – unprompted – to Wright’s opinions on AIDS and other matters, calling them “rants that aren’t grounded in truth.”

Make no mistake, Rev. Wright’s mission has always been to fill the coffers. That’s how big churches work. You won’t see any anti-Rich sermons at First Presbyterian, Bristol TN (where I used to attend). That could hurt the cash cow.
Well, Wright knows how to play on Black America’s righteous indignity and get the collection plates filled.
Now he’s taking the rhetoric national.

Sad.

But in the midst of all this, keep these very important facts alive…

1) This is about who is the best candidate to lead the Democratic party against the Repigs in November. Not Jeremiah Wright.

2) This is about ending the war in Iraq. Not Jeremiah Wright.

3) This is about Health Care. Not Jeremiah Wright.

4) This is about restoring the constitution. Not Jeremiah Wright.

5) This is about restoring dignity to the White House and punishing those that have used it to cover their crimes of treason and murder and theft. Not Jeremiah Wright.

6)This is about removing the status quo from our lives forever. Not Jeremiah Wright.

Hillary Clinton cannot stand up against Barack Obama on her own merits. Her worshipers cannot argue any point successfully.
Barack Obama has the courage to repudiate his former preacher. Hillary Clinton has yet to display the courage to condemn her “preacher” Mark Penn. She has not the guts to admit her vote to go to war in Iraq was wrong. She hasn’t had the spine to condemn Blackwater, Geraldine Ferraro, Norman Hsu, NAFTA, Bush’s blank checks, the Patriot Act, the Real ID Act…all things she stands along side the radical Right in approval of. The list of Hillary Clinton’s cowardice goes on forever.

Wright is an idiot. It’s not that he was wrong in complaining about how this country treats it’s own, it’s that he’s sold out what is true for that which is unholy.
He has exposed himself as a just another fringe lunatic for hire to the highest bidder.

Barack Obama has made his point clear. Still focusing on the issues that are harming our nation and what needs to be done to correct them…

Global Ghost Town: Oil Crisis Requires New Vision

Permalink 03:25:44 pm, Categories: Chris Lugo

There is a crisis happening on a global scale, and we here in the United States of America have a moral responsibility to take action to help alleviate global food prices and ensure that millions of people do not suffer the ill effects of hunger and possibly even starvation. We are all complaining about the high cost of oil these days and how it is impinging on our budget, but in the developing world this is having extreme consequences. The stark reality is that three billion people on the planet earth live on less than $2 a day, and a good portion of that money goes specifically to the purchase of basic food grains to survive. As a result of the skyrocketing price of oil, the price of food grains has risen due to commercial production costs and transportation to as much as $800 a ton for rice which has led to food riots in the developing world.

The reasons for high oil prices are complex, and due to many factors, but we can take steps now to deal with the global oil crisis and help people in the developing world avoid a worsening food crisis. One of the principal factors in the current oil crisis is directly related to the US invasion of Iraq. The war in Iraq, which administration officials believed would lead to democracy and stability has instead resulted in civil war and prolonged military expenditures. The financial uncertainty in the marketplace regarding the instability in the middle east has driven oil prices even higher and the worsening Federal debt, greatly impacted by the hundreds of billions of unpaid dollars committed to the war effort has made the dollar less attractive to global investors, driving down the value of the dollar in relation to global currencies and discouraging investment.

With President Bush refusing to reduce troop commitments below 140,000 and Congress seemingly unable to limit the power of the executive branch to spend money we do not have on a war we do not need, the global markets are losing faith in the security of the dollar and the American economy generally. This situation has been further complicated by the credit crisis which has resulted in hundreds of thousands of foreclosures and displaced as many Americans who are having to scramble for someplace to live. The credit crisis, which was permitted to go on for far too long due to the lack of oversight and failure to enact basic regulatory responsibilities, is another factor contributing to the weakening American dollar globally and lack of faith in the American economy generally.

Then there is the lack of any long-term vision or reasonable central planning in regard to domestic infrastructure and planning for the utilization of limited resources. This is a long-term problem, which is fundamentally an aspect of free trade policies and decades of deregulation and faith in a free market policy to solve all problems. In order to get a grip on the reality of an entire domestic economy that has been oriented toward free market economics imagine the situation of a western gold mining town in the nineteenth century. Many of these boom and bust economies were based on the immediate availability of a limited resource which brought immediate corporate investment, short term economic gain and left long term environmental disasters. In addition, when the gold ran out, almost every gold mining town became a ghost town.

This is the reality of the current oil economy. Regardless of how you look at it is that we are investing in a short-term resource which took millions of years to develop and which we are now burning through in less than a century. If we would like to avoid looking like a global ghost town we must begin to take realistic steps now. The federal government is the only collective entity, which has the infrastructure and collective wisdom to deal with this looming crisis for which we have not to this date made any effective steps toward resolving.

As a candidate for federal office I support investment in the alternative energy infrastructure. We have invested hundreds of billions of dollars in a war we cannot win and in the meantime oil corporations are making record profits at the expense of the working people in this country. I say let’s take away their profits by investing in something they cannot profit from. The sun is an unlimited source of energy and the wind is always blowing. Why are we letting the oil companies and their investors get rich while at the same time we are warming the earth with devastating consequences? It is because we have continued to let the powers that be make decisions in Washington which are always in the interest of free market profits without consequences. What we need is to reign in the free market ideology which has driven us to this precipice and begin to use the long term wisdom of a federal government that is looking out for the basic needs of working class people, the environment and the health and well being of everyone on this planet.

When we begin to treat the oil crisis like the problem that it really is and begin to take realistic steps to find ways to power our automobiles, heat our homes, produce our food and generate our electricity the people of the developing world will thank us. We have had one of the strongest economies in the world and we are resourceful and ingenious nation, always up for the challenges that face us. I have faith that we can make the right decisions, but we must take the right steps. We must move away from a free market ideology with respect to energy and specifically oil and look toward government investment in the alternative energy infrastructure. We need to end the war in Iraq and stop acting like there are no consequences for spending hundreds of billions of dollars that we don’t actually have. We need to balance the federal budget and restore faith in the economy for the global investment class. We need to address the housing crisis in this country with stronger regulation and no corporate bailouts for Wall Street investment firms that have profited at the expense of the poor. We need to take a second look at how we do our cities and ask if unlimited sprawl is really the best idea for urban development. But most of all, we need to elect representatives to Washington DC and to all levels of government who are going to have a long-term vision and will vote for policies that are in the best interest of our country.

Primary Reality: Do The Math

Permalink 07:56:24 pm, Categories: The Founding Father's Flying Circus

It’s all in the rundown below with Keith Olbermann and Chuck Todd. With or without Florida or Michigan, Obama is still going to win this thing.

Between her severe character flaws and those of her husband and staff, Hillary Clinton has doomed her own campaign through a lust for power that she has allowed to compromise her personal integrity.

One interesting portion of the video below is the Bush-like, nonsensical sentences and fabrications Hillary is becoming famous for. First and foremost is the infamous Bosnia Betty lie followed by numerous other stumble-over-one’s-own-tongue, un-presidential utterances.
It can get funny at times…

“I’M VERY PROUD THAT AS OF TODAY I HAVE RECEIVED MORE VOTES FROM PEOPLE WHO HAVE VOTED” - Hillary Clinton

Uhhh, huh? |-|
If she keeps this up she might get her own “misspeak” calender too.

Then there’s the outright lie that “Hillary is leading in popular vote” after the Pennsylvania primary.

Nope.

I’m afraid the popular vote issue is a wee bit more complicated than that.

Perhaps her ace in the hole, McCain’s VP, is going to be her last resort. Fitting. She’s more like one of them than one of us. That’s for certain.

Meanwhile, the Democratic nominee looks ahead to the General Election and John McBush.

What a circus…

Well, Earl. It’s not a bad Idea. Hell, we’ll even join you if you like. But there’s a few things we have to talk about first. Like who did you vote for in the 2004 Presidential elections?

Not so fast guys. There’s a broader picture and deeper issue than just you being pissed off about the price of gas because NOW you’re feeling the effects.
Your equipment causes a lot of pollution, Earl. Were you aware of that?

The BHC has the original article by Amy Hunter.

BRISTOL, Tenn. – Earl Humphreys works from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week, but he can’t afford to fix a leaky roof at his lawn-care business, nor can he accept clients who live outside city limits.

“We’re just getting by,” he said. “All we’re doing is turning money over.”

The reason: high gas prices.

Humphreys said he has been struggling financially for some time, but when prices climbed well beyond $3 per gallon recently, he decided it was time to do something about it.

On May 5, Humphreys and representatives from at least a dozen area businesses are staging a rally to protest suffocating fuel costs, he said.

“We want to spark a movement across the U.S. to send our politicians the message,” he said.

Humphreys, owner of Lawn Boyz Home and Garden Center on Bluff City Highway, said Tuesday that gas prices are double what they were this time last year, and he has been hit especially hard because his business relies heavily on gasoline.

LOL! No, Earl. This time last year gas prices were over three dollars a gallon. You mean “gas is twice what it was BEFORE BUSH INVADED THE WHITE HOUSE“.

C’mon, Earl. Who’d ya vote for in ‘04?

“We have to use premium gas in our equipment, which is the costliest gas. We use it in our trucks, mowers, Weedeaters and blowers. We average $120 per day in gas,” he said. “And the gas doesn’t only affect us in terms of our vehicles. There are increases in [prices of] straw, grass seed, mulch, weed killer and more, which is because shipping costs have risen.”

Humphreys isn’t alone. Over the past months, gas prices have become the main topic of conversation, he said. Fed up, he began calling his competitors in efforts to unite them in protest.

Finally fed up are we? Where ya been since ‘05, Earl? Don’t tell me, you’ve been lost at sea and are just now finding out how fucked we are after eight years of Republican leadership?

Vote Republican in ‘04 and ‘06, Earl?

“We’re sending a message to the politicians in Washington that in the next election, if they don’t do what their supposed to do, we’ll replace them,” he said.

Which politicians would those be, Earl? The ones that voted for lower energy costs, or the one’s that didn’t?

Did you vote for David Davis for Congress in ‘06, Earl?

Humphrey’s knows exactly what he’d like decision-makers in Washington to do.

First, he said, there should be an independent investigation in Washington conducted by people who aren’t connected to big oil.

Second, he would like Congress to pass a bill giving farmers tax incentives so they can grow more corn for ethanol.

Uh, Earl. Hellooooooo. Earth to Earl…

Investigation into what? The Bush administration’s profits from Big Oil? Cheney? Bush Sr.?

Ethanol, Earl? Wise up. Ethanol is almost as expensive as gas.

And third, he thinks the United States should deal outside OPEC and negotiate with countries like Russia and Venezuela for cheaper crude oil.

“This is not a red and blue issue – it’s a red, white and blue issue,” he said.

Well that’s just dandy, Earl. And how does Mr. Humphreys suggest we convince the single most greed laden administration in history to break from their Saudi owners?

Red, White, and Blue issue? That’s cute, wrong, but cute. Democrats have constantly pushed to move away from Arab oil and Republicans like David Davis and George Bush just continue to bow to Abdullah like Republican, FOX News watching morons continue to bow to them.
It’s a “Red” issue, Earl.
By the way, who did you vote for in ‘04 and ‘06?

The rally is planned from 7 to 9 a.m. May 5 in the parking lot of the former Southside Shopping Center at Bluff City Highway and Lavinder Lane. Call (423) 989-3770 for information.

The early-morning hours were set because “we’re struggling right now and need to work,” he said.

Humphrey’s couldn’t say for sure whether his protest will be a success. But, “We’re united. And anytime this country gets united things get done,” he said.

And what point do you intend to make at the protest, Earl? What candidates do you intend to endorse in order to generate some action?
Do you intend to engage in some good old-fashioned civil disobedience? That would get us interested. Block Volunteer Pkwy? Block entrances to gas stations?
Or just sit and lament the state Republican leadership has put this country in?

It’s a shame. I hate seeing people pump themselves up with false hopes knowing all the while that in the end, disappointment is all they will ever know. But hey, what’s life without a little disappointment?

As much disdain as I have for Clinton Groupies, my Liberal roots force me to have a certain amount of pity for them after seeing them sacrifice their dignity, credibility, and the concept of righteousness at the alter of Oligarchy.

She won ten more delegates than Obama. It’s still over.
The fundamental dynamic of this primary remains the same. Obama is waaaaaay out in front and Hillary is going nowhere fast. All that effort, going into full scratch and claw mode like never before, and all she gets is ten delegates in a state where she should have won thirty or so. All for ten delegates?
PA was Hillary’s last real chance to climb out of the hole and she failed.

They remind me of that one, lone fan in the bleachers at the baseball game, the Clinton Groupies do. That fiercely dedicated fan with the team logo on every piece of clothing they have on. Draped in pennants and banners and programs and all manner of team paraphernalia.
Always there, sitting alone in the stands cheering “we’re gonna win!” and “yay team!” louder than anyone in the stadium.

People passing by on their way to the exits try and tell the fan that it’s 15 to 0, Visitors, at the bottom of the third, but the fan just doesn’t want to hear that. You see, with such a shallow mentality, the team is all the fan has. It’s the only thing that makes the fan feel important. And something inside them just refuses to let go because that would mean confronting reality….

Oops, hold on! A batter just got the team’s first base hit of the game! Bottom of the ninth and we’re gonna win!

Ten delegates in two months is not “momentum". Indiana and North Carolina will not be kind to Hillary Clinton. Her campaign is in the red, exactly where she would keep the country if elected obviously.

Sad.

And the Democratic party and the nation in general suffer still.

You’ve got to be kidding me.

That’s the thing about peace, it only goes where it’s wanted.

Since nobody in the US or the Israeli governments want peace, thank God we have men of courage and influence like President Jimmy Carter to seek success where others miserably fail…

From AJC.com :

Carter, who brokered the 1978 Israeli-Egyptian peace and won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2002, has defended what he calls his personal peace mission, saying Hamas must be engaged in order to achieve Israeli-Palestinian peace.

Though Israel’s government refuses to deal with Hamas, Carter said Thursday he knows some Israeli government officials are “quite willing” to meet the militant group and he speculated that might happen in the near future.

Israeli Cabinet minister Eli Yishai said Friday he asked Carter earlier this week to arrange a meeting with Hamas to discuss a prisoner exchange. Yishai, the Israeli deputy prime minister, said he wanted to try to win the release of Cpl. Gilad Shalit, held by Hamas in Gaza for two years.

Jimmy Carter is in Gaza. Meeting with Hamas (much to the chagrin of Zionist pigs and Republicans everywhere) to try and forge some genuine peace in the war torn Gaza Strip.
Israel has been attacking civilians in Gaza, in response to attacks by Hamas on the IDF. Standard Israel modus operandi seen many times and most recently in Lebanon.

Regardless of your view of that conflict, logic dictates that if two parties are at war, it will take two parties to end it. Which is why the Zionist element in Israel and their accomplices here at home refuse to recognize Hamas as a legitimate revolutionary force capable of engaging in dialog. Zionism thrives on bloodshed and carnage. It doesn’t want peace. Peace isn’t profitable.

Finally, Jimmy Carter has seen fit to recognize Hamas and put them on the map. Now Israel and the US will have to consider them a valid entity. An entity that now will have to seek peace in order to maintain any legitimacy Carter has provided them with.
The ball, for the first time, is now in Hamas’ court. They are equally obligated to prove themselves seekers of peace or just another twisted group of terrorists like the IDF or the CIA.

So now, in an effort to prevent peace, some Repig skank named Rep. Sue Myrick, R-N.C. has actually attempted to invalidate Jimmy Carter’s passport in order to prevent him from holding peace talks with Hamas.
Carter’s intention is to talk Hamas into stopping it’s attacks on Israeli forces, so I’m not sure if the aforementioned skank is pro or anti Israel. I am sure that she doesn’t even know.

LOL

But this is a vivid illustration of the Republican mentality. Carter’s efforts could actually lead to some sort of peace. No wonder Myrick is afraid. Republicans represent a culture of death. Peace is a threat to that culture.
Ah yes, Republican knee-jerk reactionism.
First thought? Take away the passport of a former President and world renown spokesman for peace, charity, and many other causes?

Stupid bitch.

Keep this in mind in the voting booths in November. John McCain is just a Rep. Myrick with a penis.

Where does Ablogination officially stand on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? Both Israel and Hamas are like little spoiled children. Both peoples too immature intellectually to even fully understand peace. Both share the guilt for the carnage to whatever extent and both need to grow the fuck up and stop making all of our lives miserable.
This stupidity has been going on forever and we of the world around them are sick of their shit.
Fucking idiots one and all.

Israel we feel, is more to blame. With assassinations, attacks on civilians with state of the art aircraft and other weapons, and the fact that they occupy Palestinian land to begin with shows us that Israel is the instigator.

Israel has spied on us, who they call “friend” to our faces. They have installed operatives into or close to our government and have interfered in US foreign policy. They may have known about the attack of 9/11 and did not warn us. They attacked our USS Liberty in 1967 killing 34 U.S. servicemen and wounding at least 173 others. They have earned distrust.
No nation that prides it’s self on “deception” is worthy of respect.

Behold! Our “friends” and the traitors that work for them…..

From ABC:

American Accused of Spying for Israel
Prosecutors Say N.J. Man Passed U.S. Military Secrets to Israel from 1979 to 1985.
By PIERRE THOMAS, JASON RYAN and RICHARD ESPOSITO
April 22, 2008

A former civilian employee of a military arsenal in New Jersey has been indicted by the federal government for allegedly conspiring to pass U.S. military secrets to the Israeli government more than 20 years ago.

According to court documents, Ben Ami Kadish allegedly spied for Israel from 1979-1985 and provided an official from the Israeli consulate in New York with U.S. national defense information, including restricted nuclear weapons data, classified jet fighter weapons system data and key information on the Patriot missile system.

Government sources say Kadish’s Israeli handler is also the same man who handled convicted spy Jonathan Pollard.

After Pollard, a former naval analyst, was exposed to be spying for Israel, the handler left the United States and Kadish went underground. Pollard was sentenced to life in prison and is incarcerated at a federal prison in North Carolina.

Kadish allegedly kept in contact with his Israeli handler until last month, when the handler, who is only identified as “Co-conspirator 1″ in court documents, allegedly instructed Kadish to lie to U.S. investigators in the case.

The Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey released a statement confirming that Kadish, whom an Army official described as an elderly widower in failing health, worked at the facility “more than 18 years ago.”

“At the time of his retirement in January 1990, Mr. Kadish was a supervisory engineer in the installation’s Fuze Division,” the statement said, adding that Kadish “was first employed at this installation in October 1963.”

“We have been cooperating fully with federal investigators and will continue to do so,” Picatinny spokesman Peter Rowland said in the statement.

No Draft. No Way.

My father is a Vietnam Veteran. He was an officer in ROTC in 1968 while he was in college and went to Vietnam as a Lieutenant the year I was born. My father felt an obligation to his country and a duty to serve when called. I was born in a snowstorm in rural Minnesota while my father was halfway around the world in the jungles of Vietnam. I am proud of my father and his service to my country. When I was a teenager, going to private Catholic school, I was approached by military recruiters. I was encouraged to join the military and to enlist in the ROTC program, much like my father had been. For whatever reason, I declined. I was not yet a peace activist like I became after the first gulf war, but something in my instincts told me that I could not serve in the military the way my father had served.

In 1990, while I was enrolled at the University of Minnesota, George Bush Sr. began beating the drums of war. I was enrolled in the selective service program at that time in order to get student loans to go to college. I remember clearly the night the bombs began to drop in Iraq for the first time. I was living in the student district of Minneapolis and there had been anti-war activity on campus leading up to the invasion. Students were busy organizing against the campus military center, sometimes called the stockade, holding demonstrations and putting anti-war material in front of the recruiting and training center.

The night of the first bombing and initial invasion in 1991 I witnessed something I had never seen before, a spontaneous anti-war demonstration. Demonstrators began marching from the University district and marched, without a permit, into downtown Minneapolis and over to the uptown district, several thousand people marching a distance of five or six miles. Something about that demonstration vitalized me and helped me to commit to a path of peace. I knew at the time, based on my religious convictions, that I could not kill another human being in the name of my country, no matter what the reason. Although I am no longer a person of faith, I still retain the same conviction to this day and remain a pacifist and committed to the path of non-violence.

I joined the Central Committee for Conscientious Objectors at that time and met with a Quaker counselor from the American Friends Service Committee. I decided at that point in my life to begin to serve the path of peace.

My story is only one story of many paths to adulthood. Besides having deep respect for my father and his choices in life, we have something in common, we both had the opportunity to choose how to serve our country. This choice, which has been a mainstay of American life since shortly after the Vietnam war, has never been under greater threat than it is right now. Our military forces are taxed to exhaustion, and a backdoor draft of sort already exists with our national guard reserve. President Bush has chosen to keep one hundred forty thousand troops in Iraq in addition to the thousands already serving in Afghanistan and the hundreds of thousands serving in over one hundred and twenty countries around the world.

Nearly every person in the military today is there because they were able to choose to serve. Regardless of how one feels about the process of military recruitment, the targeting of poor and minority communities, even recruiting persons who are not yet citizens of this country in order to serve, the alternative to this is far worse. I do believe that we need to scale down the size of our military. We cannot afford the extreme financial burden that this military is costing us, both in current expenditures and obligations we have on past expenditures such as debt from previous military expenses which is as yet unpaid and the financial obligations that we have to the health and welfare of our nation’s veterans.

There has been talk in the military of reintroducing the draft. It is argued that we cannot afford to keep going the way we are. There has even been speculation that the very reason that our national reserve forces are being taxed to their limits is to reintroduce the draft as a socially acceptable resolution to the current crisis in Iraq. Our military forces are broken. They are being taxed to their limits, but the solution is not the reintroduction of a draft. This war in Iraq was based on lies and manipulation. There is nothing honorable about recruiting unwitting young men in order to support the lies and misdeeds of the current administration.

The solution to the crisis in Iraq is to bring the troops home now. Our national guard has served the country well. They have answered the call to serve, in spite of the betrayals of the current administration, and it is time to bring them home. Then it is time to let our military heal from the current round of conflict. We need a peacetime administration that is focused on using alternatives to violence and warfare in order to solve international conflicts. We need elected representatives who are committed to the path of peace and who are more concerned about the economic crisis at home.

I am still proud of my father and everything he has done. I am also proud of my friends who have chosen not to serve in the military. I am proud of the peace activists I know who have chosen to serve their country and the world to promote the cause of peace. I believe that there can be reconciliation and understanding between these two very different communities, each choosing to serve in the way they believe is best. The act of choosing is one of the most important rites of transitioning into adult life. Don’t our children deserve the opportunity to explore all the alternatives that life has to offer them, in education, in job training, in community service? We don’t need another draft. What we need is a new outlook on our government.

We need a government that is dedicated to the idea that serving the people is the highest priority. A draft will only reinforce the idea that Americans are cannon fodder for greedy warmongers who can’t make good foreign policy decisions and then need to sacrifice American lives in order to cover for their terrible decisions. Instead of investing more money in war let’s invest it in peace. Let’s make sure that every American graduates from high school. Let’s take the money that we would spend on guns and spend that money on health care. Let’s take the money that we would spend on military bases halfway around the world and spend that money on our own domestic infrastructure. Let’s take the money that we would spend on bombs and spend that money on social security. Finally, let’s take the money that we would spend on training our young men and women to be soldiers and instead spend that money on training them to be teachers, doctors and engineers.

We can lift this nation out of poverty. We can find alternatives to warfare and violence. We can solve our international problems without invading foreign countries and occupying them. We can have peace and security at home without resorting to a draft. It is time for us to take the steps towards peace that we have been waiting to take. It is time to look at real solutions to the economic crisis facing this country. It is time to restore the honor and dignity that is the soul of this nation. I believe we can do this. All we need is the leadership and the representation to make the right decisions in Washington DC. Let’s take the first steps toward becoming the people that we deserve to be by resisting talk of a draft and instead let’s bring the troops home now.

Swillary Gibsanopolis: The ABC's of Televised Debate

Permalink 05:20:24 pm, Categories: The Founding Father's Flying Circus

:)):)):))

Controling the laughter has been difficult. I knew to expect a poor showing from Clinton, and an even poorer one from ABC. Not a clue had I that such a blatantly obtuse Negro Roast was on the menu.

The only thing missing was the noose and an audience stupid enough to fail to notice what was really going on…

All seriousness was excluded from this particular “debate". No significant mention of the War, Health Care, the Economy… Just lots of nonsense, racism and misandry.
Yes, misandry. And where it came from is clear. Meet Anne Sweeney, the lady that likely set this whole thing up due to the heat she’s taken from feminist groups like NOW in the past.
Of course, paid hacks like Charline Gibson and Georgia Stephanieopolis will do Madame Sweeny’s bidding on all fours with red rubber balls in their mouths for the checks they’re getting, so it’s hard to blame them for anything other than lacking manhood of any kind.

It went like this:

As Hillary and her accomplices attempted to gang up on Barack Obama, they attempt to rehash the long dead “Reverend Wright” issue. Result? Pennsylvanians don’t care, they want to know about jobs and income and feeding their families.

Then there was an amazingly lame attempt to connect Barack Obama to Professor William Ayres, former member of the radical group called the Weathermen. Barack Obama was eight years old when the Weathermen were a focus of attention. Hillary and Bill were right there though. And Bill Clinton pardoned two members of the Weathermen when he was president.

Hillarweeney Gibsanopolis lost that one too.

If you can’t dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit.

It’s odd that Barack Obama is being judged according to the actions and words of everyone he has ever come in contact with. But his own words are being ignored.
But hey, that works for us.
Being that the matrimonial relationship is far more intimate and involved than who Obama’s church has as a preacher or who Obama served on a board with, I guess it’s now fair to blame Hillary for everything Bill did as president.

Hillary is responsible for NAFTA, she was Bill’s wife at the time.

Hillary is responsible for killing and otherwise victimizing Americans and their families during the Drug War portion of Bill’s presidency from 1992 to 2000.

Hillary is responsible for a poverty rate that was nearly what the rate is today after seven years of Bush.

Hillary is responsible for all of Bill’s (and her’s) financial skulduggery.

Hillary is responsible for Bill abusing Monica Lewinski and other women.

From Mother Jones:

This was moments after Wolfson and Phil Singer, another top Clinton aide, had hammered Barack Obama for having held a fundraiser during his first state senate campaign in Illinois at the home of William Ayers, a professor of education at the University of Illinois and a former aide to Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, who was a member of the radical Weather Underground Organization, which was responsible for several bombings in the early 1970s. Ayers was never arrested for his activities. But in 2001, he did say, “I don’t regret setting bombs.” The issue had come up during the previous night’s debate. Responding to a question about Ayers, Obama had said, “the notion that somehow as a consequence of me knowing somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago when I was 8 years old, somehow reflects on me and my values, doesn’t make much sense.” Wolfson, this morning after, insisted that Obama had “to be more forthcoming about that issue” and state clearly whether it had been “appropriate” to attend a fundraiser at Ayers’ home.

When it came time for questions for Wolfson, I asked an obvious one: Did Hillary Clinton believe that it had been appropriate in 2001 for President Bill Clinton to have pardoned two members of the Weather Underground as he left office? The two recipients of Clinton’s munificence were Linda Evans, who was sentenced to five years in prison for her participation in a string of 1980s bombings, and Susan Rosenberg, who was charged with participating in a bank robbery that left one guard and two police officers dead. And, I continued, has Senator Clinton ever criticized this decision? Has she ever said anything publicly about it? Rosenberg, I noted, had been apprehended with 740 pounds of explosives in her possession.

Wolfson replied, “I am not aware of Linda Evans or Susan Rosenberg…hosting a political event for Senator Clinton.”

I interrupted to note that I had not asked whether they had. I had asked whether Clinton had supported or opposed her husband’s pardons for these two women. (I resisted the urge to throw in Marc Rich.)

Amazing. This “debate” was a gang bang. A political circle-jerk with Obama in the middle and Swillary Gibsanopolis all around unloading what little they have left.

Impudent and impotent. They went limp.

Barack Obama rose up through the gnashing, leering, circle of perverts and imps and shined like the rays of the new rising sun. Refusing to play the victim and maintaining his composure and personal dignity until the end. Imagine that, a president with dignity.

Then the people of Pennsylvania, in attendance last night, made their impression of the Clinton/Sweeney racism, misandry and lack of relevant context abundantly clear.
Loud booing and a few distant obscenities (coulda sworn I heard someone yell “whore” from afar) marked the exit of the Democratic voters in attendance and hopefully, the exit of Hillary Clinton from the race.

Hey PA! If You're Not Bitter, You're Part Of The Problem

Permalink 01:56:35 pm, Categories: The Founding Father's Flying Circus

Good, by now everyone has had their fill of Hillary McCain and their lame attempt to do to Barack Obama what their GOP friends did to Gore and Kerry…Make them look bad for being right and speaking plainly.

Stand back and take a good long look, Pennsylvania.
First, anyone that didn’t understand where Obama was coming from is either a Clinton Groupie or an idiot. Not too much difference to begin with.

Second, anyone that works, actually gets up in the morning and goes to WORK, that ISN’T bitter is a complacent jackass that has no idea what’s good for them.
If you work and you’re not bitter about the state of the economy, the high prices of gas, food, etc…job after job heading to China, then sit down and shut your ass because you’re part of the problem, not the solution.

Hillary Clinton is NAFTA, no matter what she says. Her position on NAFTA and CAFTA is just like her position on the war. She speaks against it while campaigning then fully supports it in voting record and/or personal financial action. She and her wife, Billary, cost you your jobs. The Republicans have just capitalized on your grief. In fact, Hillary McCain’s chiding of Obama for using the word “bitter” more or less amounts to a defense of BushCo economic policies. The country’s heading for recession, but hey, why be bitter? I guess if you have Clinton money there’s no reason to be “bitter". Don’t let the Clinton lie machine distract you from focusing on the issues and the mistakes and abuses that put you in an economic distress in the first place.
We actually expect more of you than we did of the New Hampsters because we have a few things in common. We’re both basically Appalachian. We’re on the south trail and you’re on the north. We also know what it feels like, down here, to watch industry and jobs leave the area for more exploitable pastures in Mexico or China. Just like you do.

We’re bitter as hell. How ’bout you?

Got to admit it’s getting bitter, getting bitter all the time…

When Hillary remarked that Obama’s lofty speech was the “same mistake Gore and Kerry made", do you know what she meant? She meant that PA voters are stupid and cannot understand college educated speech. That was the “mistake” Gore, Kerry and Obama made. Talking to Americans like adults and not children.
Hillary seems to feel that you’re more of a bumper sticker type mentality. Does that bother you? It bothers us. Both when she treats us that way and watching her treat you that way. We’re all just white trash to a Clinton. There to be used and abused and pandered to.
So, now Hillary is pro gun, church going country folk knocking back a few cold beers at the bar? Just because she’s pandering to “small town” voters?
What’s really insulting, PA? Obama’s blunt speech or Hillary’s mocking you to your face?

Hillary Clinton wants you paying attention to anything but the truth. The truth about her and Bill’s trade policies and what they’ve done to average Americans…

From AP:

Obama also chided Clinton over NAFTA and the Colombian trade deal. Clinton has criticized NAFTA, which was passed under her husband’s watch. She opposes the Colombian trade deal even though former President Clinton supports it and her top campaign strategist, Mark Penn, met with Colombian officials to help push for its passage. Penn has since been demoted.

“Here’s what you can’t do. You can’t spend the better part of two decades campaigning for NAFTA and PNTR for China, and then come here to Pennsylvania, and tell the steelworkers you’ve been with them all along,” Obama said. “You can’t say you are opposed to the Colombia Trade deal, while your key strategist is working for the Colombian government to get the deal passed.”

Face it, working class… If we fall for Clinton’s lies and deceptive campaigning again, we might as well run to the church, or the gun cabinet, or a needle full of heroin because we’ll continue to be screwed out of our jobs and our American Way and fully deserve it for being too stupid to see through the bullshit.

Barack Obama, though imperfect himself, is the only chance we have as American workers at a level playing field. Just remember who’s picking up the big Labor Endorsements. It ain’t Billary “NAFTA” Clinton, that’s for damn sure.

Imagining a World Without Nuclear Weapons

Permalink 12:51:58 am, Categories: Chris Lugo

It has been almost forty years since the United States signed on to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation treaty and now is the time to begin to live up to the spirit of that treaty. The NPT has been signed by 189 nations and was intended as a framework to move the world toward both the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and the eventual dismantlement of weapons of mass destruction. In our time, these instruments of genocide and apocalypse have hung over our heads like an angel of death, haunting the vast majority of our foreign policy decisions and at times pushing the planet to the edge of nuclear war.

It has been a long time since anyone felt the conscious threat of global thermonuclear war like the kind of visions of destruction that seemed to capture popular consciousness in the 1980’s, but the reality of those weapons and their threat still looms large over foreign policy decisions, and now is the time to begin to take concrete steps toward dismantlement and destruction, before it is too late. Right now, while our world is at relative peace regarding global threats to security, right now, while the United States has the will and the leadership, right now, while the generation which dedicated itself to peace and social justice has the vision and the determination, right now is the time to dismantle our own weapons of mass destruction.

This may seem like a dangerous idea to some. Many Americans cannot imagine a world without nuclear weapons. I myself know that many people feel that our only real security lies in this superior construction of Armageddon, but the fact is that we are the greatest threat to world security right now. In spite of our ideals, in spite of the spirit of our democratic tradition, there is nothing democratic, there is no message of freedom in our collection of weapons of mass destruction. Just like a drug addict who needs his fix, we still crave the power that comes from the threat and fear that these weapons generate.

There are no words to honestly describe our condition. We stand at a moment in history that is generally unique. We have never before faced a time when our cleverness and our own skills as a society can lead to our complete undoing. This is the reality that these weapons generate. They are instruments not of democracy, but of tyranny. They are not agents of peace, but rather agents of total destruction and we have a moral obligation to dismantle these weapons of destruction and live up to the spirit of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty that we signed almost forty years ago.

We can live in a world of peace, if we take concrete steps now to live up to our better selves. It is possible to resolve international conflicts without threatening to completely destroy other cultures, other peoples. We have the collective intelligence to create a more meaningful future for ourselves and our future generations. By investing in our domestic infrastructure, by supporting fair trade policies, by creating universal health care, by offering meaningful access to education at all levels in our society, by investing in alternative energy and moving away from our addiction to oil, by supporting the international community, by investing in programs to support the global south, by divesting in war and violence as the only solution to international conflict and by dismantling our weapons of mass destruction we can move toward the kind of world that Martin Luther King Jr. imagined nearly forty years ago.

Forty years after the NPT is only two generations. Let’s not wait even one more before we rid ourselves of these instruments of global genocide. If you care about peace and want to make a statement that will be heard by people around the world then I would like to encourage you to come to Oak Ridge, Tennessee this Sunday, April 13th for the twentieth anniversary of the Oak Ridge Environmental Peace Alliance public demonstration for peace. Oak Ridge is the home of the only atomic bombs ever used on a human population. Constructed between 1942-45, the bombs manufactured in Eastern Tennessee were used to killed tens of thousands of civilians in 1945. Since that time Oak Ridge has continued to play an instrumental role in the production and maintenance of America’s nuclear weapons complex.

On April 13th hundreds of people will gather in Oak Ridge to march to the gates of the Y-12 facility and call for an end to the manufacturing of weapons of mass destruction. They will also call for a plan to clean up the oak ridge environment, which has been polluted by decades of abuse and a plan for dismantling our nuclear weapons infrastructure. Some people may feel so strongly about this event that they will engage in non-violent civil disobedience to express their concern for humanity and our children’s future. Others will protest in a law abiding fashion but with no less intent and concern for the future generations of this planet. I hope you can join us. For more information please visit the website www.stopthebombs.org.

…Fuck them. With their torch.

Just sayin’.

“There’s a Chinese saying: river water and well water don’t mix,” said Rose Pak, the general consultant to the Chinese Chamber of Commerce, which supports the relay. “You do your thing, and we do our thing. Why is it you have to disrupt our celebration, when none of us went and disrupted their celebration?”

Ms. Pak and other Chinese-American leaders here are particularly vexed at the actions of the city’s Board of Supervisors, which voted on April 1 to condemn China’s human rights record. Chris Daly, the supervisor who wrote the resolution, went further on Monday, posting a blog entry calling on followers to “build on the message that’s been delivered” in Paris and London.

Human Rights Violations

Human Rights Violations

Violence Against Women: According to some researchers, spousal abuse is far too common and, in many parts of the country, still socially acceptable. However, comprehensive statistics about the extent of domestic violence are not available or have not been made public. The official All-China Women’s Federation (ACWF) has been studying this problem and seeking solutions.

Few battered women have the opportunity to escape abuse, because shelters and other resources are not available. Women are under considerable social pressure to keep families together regardless of the circumstances. Legal action is not taken against batterers unless the victim initiates it, and if she withdraws her testimony, the proceedings are ended.

Abduction and Trafficking of Women: Trafficking and sale of women as brides or into prostitution is a serious problem in certain parts of China, and Chinese women have been sold into brothels in Southeast Asia. The PRC government has enacted various laws to combat the sale of women, but the statistics released by the government do not reliably indicate the scale of the problem. PRC officials stated that there were 15,000 cases of kidnapping and trafficking in women and children in 1993. Yet according to one estimate, 10,000 women were abducted and sold in 1992 in Sichuan Province alone.

The Chinese government clearly supports a culture of death. Repeatedly poisoning their own people and people around the world with products containing un-ingestible materials.
The one instance that stands out in my mind is the Melamine poisoning of the pet food. The Chinese gov’t arrested their food and drug chief, then executed him. Like they were sacrificing him to us. Filthy fucking little pigs. No respect for life. I would have felt better if they executed themselves.
And they have the nerve to play the victim when they get protested?
I got a protest for you, China. FREE TIBET YOU PYGMY FUCKS!

Violations Against Female Children: The one-child policy, in conjunction with the traditional preference for male children, has led to a resurgence of practices like female infanticide, concealment of female births and abandonment of female infants. Female children whose births are not registered do not have any legal existence and therefore may have difficulty going to school or receiving medical care or other state services. The overwhelming majority of children in orphanages are female and/or mentally or physically handicapped.

The one-child policy has also contributed to the practice of prenatal sex identification resulting in the abortion of female fetuses. Although the government has outlawed the use of ultrasound machines for this purpose, physicians continue the practice, especially in rural areas. Thus, while the average worldwide ratio of male to female newborns is 105/100, Chinese government statistics show that the ratio in the PRC is 114/100 and may be higher in some areas.

All the facts about China are HERE.

As China poisons our food, pet food, and toys our children play with, we need to observe two very important things…

1) Who will protect our children from poisoned toys.

2) And who won’t.

Please, Oh please vote for me. I can be President! Really I can. The Black is unelectable so please change your minds and vote for me instead of him. Pretty please? With sugar and a cherry?
Who cares about issues and lies and such? I’m a Clinton! I’m worth Millions!! Hundreds of Millions even!!!

Isn’t that enough?

It’s almost getting hard to be serious when talking of Hillary Clinton and her failed campaign. Now, Hillary, in steadfast and resolute desperation, has resorted to publicly begging for Pledged Delegates that Barack Obama has already won.
Isn’t that something like begging the teacher to “take Johnny’s A away, give it to me, then give him my F"?

What’s in your wallet?

Clinton’s statements get slightly interesting at this point…

From ABC:

Clinton made it clear to North Dakota Democrats last night that she believes there is no such thing as a pledged delegate and highlighted that stubborn streak in her appeal for delegates to switch from Obama to her when the Democratic national party holds its nominating convention this August.

Sorry, Ms.Bush. Pledged delegates are a fact of Democratic life, and your’s. They will not go away just because it would be convenient for you.
Indeed, if there’s “no such thing", why are you begging their support?

ABC does have a mild vocabulary deficit at times. “Stubborn Streak” should read “mule headed delusion".
This kind of “stubborn” is eerily similar to “stay the course".

“I know what it’s like to stumble. I know what it means to get knocked down. But I’ve never stayed down. I never will and neither will America if we get ready to win this election in November,” she said.

Yeah, so does Meldrick Taylor.

Take your bank account and go home, Hillary. Donate some more Millions to your “Charity” (tax shelter in layman’s terms) and stop pretending that you and Billy Boy care about anyone or anything other than yourselves.

Randi Rhodes, the Queen of Truth, has been suspended from Air America Radio for calling Geraldine Ferraro and Hillary Clinton “whores".

The truth is often found to be painful for some, but that doesn’t make it any less true.

As far as being actual call-girls, that’s not what Randi meant. But in the context of two people that will do or say anything to anyone just to gain money and power, Randi is spot on.

Geraldine Ferraro and Hillary Clinton are exactly that, whores.
Slutting around like back-alley crawlers for a long time now, the two “Whores” have done nothing but remain apathetically silent while the Bush/Neocon administration has perpetrated every crime imaginable against America and the world at large.
The war, the end of personal privacy, turning their backs on New Orleans, the gas prices, the rights violations, the treason, the murder of over 4000 of our soldiers and over a million Iraqis, the economic downfall, the disgrace of our nation before the world and who knows what other crimes and misconduct.

Yeah, Hillary has been the PNAC’s favorite “Whore” for a long time.
Sitting on her ass and saying nothing about the crimes she has witnessed makes her just as guilty as if she committed them herself. All the while being groomed to be the next Bush.

Pandering to John Q. Perverts everywhere

Where was Hillary Clinton while our privacy was being assailed?

When did Hillary Clinton ever stand up and rail against the proven illegal war on Iraq?

When did Hillary Clinton ever publicly stand with the people? Never. She has never taken a stand on anything other than filling her pockets and protecting her Senate Seat.

Where was Hillary when vote fraud was the crime de jour? Where was Hillary while Terri Schiavo was being abused by the Right? Where was Hillary while Val Plame was being exposed? Where was Hillary when our troops needed her to stand up for them?
She was bending over for BushCo. That’s where she was.

Now, we see Hillary Clinton employing tactics she surely learned from her mentors Bush, Cheney, Rove, Penn, Ferraro etc.
Surpressing free speech.

Air America Radio, since falling into Neocon hands, has silenced such great truth-tellers like Mike Malloy and now, suspended Randi Rhodes for speaking the truth and being forceful in doing so.
Randi, who was once close friends with the Clinton’s until she saw their true colors has now become yet another victim of their influence.

“Whores"? Corporate whores, Bush whores, PNAC whores, Isra-whores, power whores, money whores….
Both of them are the absolute scum of the earth.
Randi Rhodes was being kind, and we can’t wait to hear her on NovaM Radio with Mike Malloy and the real Liberals.

Fuck you, Mark Green and Air America Radio. You and your “Whores".

I am proud to be an American, but I am ashamed of what the government is doing in my name. We are living in a country that openly discusses torture as acceptable government policy, which debates whether or not to grant immunity to corporations that spy on Americans, that invades foreign countries in violation of international law and that grants huge profits to private corporations which hire mercenaries to kill innocent women and children with immunity in foreign countries. How did we end up on this path of secrecy, torture, foreign invasion and war profiteering?

I believe that we took the first steps towards a secret government in 2001 with the passage of Executive Order 13233 which allows current and previous presidents to withhold documents and records without explanation indefinitely. This unprecedented expansion of power stands in direct opposition to the Freedom of Information Act and the US Constitution. Presidential records should be the property of the public and our right to know should be fundamental right of the people and not the president.

Executive Order 13233 states that presidential records may be withheld from the general public, including Freedom of Infomation Act requests, for decisions that are related to war, diplomacy, national security, legal advice, presidential communications, and the deliberative process of a president and his advisors. These types of communications are considered to be “presidential privileges” and not subject to open public scrutiny or public disclosure. This means that unless Congress acts, we may never know exactly how this administration decided to torture innocent civilians, how they decided it was acceptable to spy on Americans, or how they decided to give billions of dollars to war profiteering corporations.

This means we cannot decide if the President violated the law or if members of his administration knowingly violated the law. It is important, if we are to be a dignified nation, an honorable nation, to know how our elected representatives and their advisors came to make decisions which reflect the body politic. We live in an open society, and the decisions that our representatives make reflect upon us all. This is why it is vital to know what our representatives are thinking and what they are doing. If we don’t, then we might as well admit that there is a secret government, unaccountable, acting without our consent.

In America, the government belongs to the people. Inherent in our system of self-government is the idea that the People have the right to know what our government and government officials are doing and to hold them accountable for their actions. Americans want to know why the Bush administration thinks it is acceptable to spy on her own citizens. We want to know who fabricated the weapons of mass destruction myth that was the agency of war in Iraq. These decisions have cost Americans hundreds of billions of dollars, and more tragically, thousands of American lives. Thomas Jefferson once said that information is the currency of democracy. That is why it is time to overturn Executive Order 13233 and restore dignity and trust to the American people.

April's Fool: Saying Goodbye to Hillary Clinton

Permalink 01:46:16 am, Categories: The Founding Father's Flying Circus

As the Clinton presidential bid enters it “last throes", we now see a new horizon before us. The Bush/Clinton Monarchy is very close to being a thing of the past. America is on the verge of a new lease on life. A renewed hope for a freer, people oriented society and a government, ripped from the hands of the status quo, that can be remolded into the great oasis of world leadership it’s supposed to be.

All these years, Bush this Clinton that….
I can’t possibly be the only one that’s sick of even hearing the names on the news.
The humiliation this country and our people have suffered through the last sixteen years of Presidential folly is not something I can honestly say we deserve.
From Whitewater to Monica to NAFTA to Iraq to NSA spying to listening to Bush try and put two legible sentences together to Bosnia Betty.
We have suffered, as a people, enough embarrassment and enough damage to our country to last a lifetime.

The Bush/Clinton Dynasty must end. It must or we will never have the breath of fresh political air we thirst for. The next generations of Americans have to have something other than this stagnant, stale and rapidly decaying culture that these Oligarchs have reduced us to.

What’s in a name? Everything.

We must have peace. We must have National Health Care that puts the interests of people before the interests of profiteers. We must embrace new attitudes toward each other and the world at large, and new methods of curtailing injustice such as the Drug War, abuse of prisoners, rampant corruption in government, and the plight of the homeless and the destitute.
Without these changes, God might as well Damn America because we have already damned ourselves. Lazarus is all around us, and we have failed.

No one named Bush or Clinton will ever be able to put country and people before power and wealth. It’s simply not in their nature to do so. So much is obvious to anyone with eyes wide open.
And given the fact that John McCain is no answer to any problem, we have Barack Obama as the only pathway to progress.

Recently riding a wave of critical endorsements, Barack Obama again picked up the endorsements of two Female and well respected Senators

Freshman Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, who recently voiced concerns about the rancorous tone of the Democratic primary, said she was forced to choose after the difficulty of remaining uncommitted.

“Between Barack and a hard place, I chose Barack,” she told reporters in a conference call. “He’s able to dissolve the hard cynical edge that has dominated our politics under the Bush administration.”

Klobuchar joins Missouri Sen. Claire McCaskill in backing Obama, who hasn’t fared as well with white female voters as Clinton has.

Patrick Leahy, Chris Dodd, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy, Casey, McCaskill, Klobuchar, Gov. Richardson,…
This is how you do it. Hillary refuses to exit, Obama is happy to see her stay because she only makes him look better every time she opens her lying mouth.
What to do? Just keep those Senators coming. And if they care about this Party and getting down to business, they’ll endorse Obama one after another until Clinton has no leg left to stand on.
Hillary Clinton is not bigger than the Party. She may think she is, but she’s not.
She was finished a long time ago, and after winning Texas, Barack Obama has built an insurmountable Pledged Delegate lead. Obama also leads in Popular Vote as well as high profile Senate endorsements.

Goodbye, Hillary. The country is changing and you’re not. That means it’s time to go. But not to worry, there are plenty more DLC has-beens that will soon follow you to the political graveyard. You will not suffer rejection and obscurity alone.

This much we promise you.
