One of John McSame’s top advisers was caught hoping for a miracle to save McCain’s campaign. Trouble is, it seems he was asking Allah for it.

That’s right, Charlie Black. The dirtbag former Chairman of BKSH & Associates. A sleezy lobbying firm associated with the infamous murder-for-hire firm Blackwater USA, has actually stated, in public (what a fucking idiot) that a new Terrorist attack on US soil would be an “advantage” for McCain…

Charles R. Black Jr., one of McCain’s most senior political advisers, said in an interview with Fortune magazine that a fresh terrorist attack “certainly would be a big advantage to him.” He also said that the December assassination of former Pakistani prime minister Benazir Bhutto, while “unfortunate,” helped McCain win the Republican primary by focusing attention on national security.

It’s sad. In Charles Black we have the Corporate-Fascist Republican mindset in a nutshell.
As long as we can lobby and get paid, who cares how many people die. That’s them.
Knee deep in Iraq and seeing the money fade with a Democratic President, Charles Black actually “quit” his lush job promoting the carnage he’s participated in just to run McSame’s (or whatever pro-war candidate) campaign.
Charles Black, by the way, is also known for being the tie that binds McSame and Hillary Clinton through Black’s close association with Clinton confidante, Mark Penn.

In a strongly worded statement issued yesterday afternoon, the campaign of presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama called Black’s comments a “complete disgrace.”

“The fact that John McCain’s top adviser says that a terrorist attack on American soil would be a ‘big advantage’ for their political campaign is a complete disgrace, and is exactly the kind of politics that needs to change,” spokesman Bill Burton said. “Barack Obama will turn the page on these failed policies and this cynical and divisive brand of politics so that we can unite this nation around a common purpose to finish the fight against al-Qaeda.”

Good job, Charlie. You and your boss just keep proving to us, over and over again, what a bunch of soulless vermin you and your kind really are.
