This is as good a time as any to remind my fellow Democrats about just how much of an assclown, and a threat to progressive interests, Bill Clinton really is.

Bill “Gramm, Leach, Bliley” Clinton has once again opened his lying, Republican-Lite mouth and in his own subtle, deceitful way, attacked President Obama like the backstabbing punk that Clinton has always been.

From USA Today:

• ABC News – Bill Clinton says Obama needs to sound more hopeful: Former president Bill Clinton tells Good Morning America, in an interview airing today, that he likes “the fact that (President Obama) didn’t come in and give us a bunch of happy talk. I’m glad he shot straight with us. … (But) I just want the American people to know that he’s confident that we are gonna get out of this and he feels good about the long run. … I like trying to educate the American people about the dimensions and scope of this economic crisis. … I just would like him to end by saying that he is hopeful and completely convinced we’re gonna come through this.”

Now, if you know Bill Clinton and what kind of self-centered, Republicanesque maggot he really is, then seeing through his facade is not real difficult.

“Sound more hopeful":
Obama is not like you, Bill. Lying is not his default reaction. He’ll sound “more positive” when there’s something to sound positive about.

“Likes the fact":
Clinton says “that he likes the fact that (President Obama) didn’t come in and give us a bunch of happy talk".
Then, Billary suggests Obama do exactly that. Give us “happy talk” about the economy. FAIL!

As we see HERE, Obama has been optimistic, without abandoning reality, since November.

Now, in light of the facts and knowing just what a scumbag Bill Clinton really is, this attempt to appear concerned about the economy looks a little different in the mirror.
This is not Bill Clinton trying to help.

This is Bill Clinton try to degrade Barack Obama and make him look as though he’s faltering. As though he’s unsure of himself and the state of the nation. This is Bill Clinton trying to soften Obama up for Hillary to oppose in 2012.
We wrote it here before and we’re telling you again. The Clintonistas will do anything they can to sabotage the Obama presidency. They are doing so and will continue to do so.
They cannot be trusted.

Bill Clinton:

You’re a piece of shit. A drug war supporting, Stan Lee swindling, disbarred, disgraced, for all intents and purposes impeached, self-absorbed loser. Just like your wifey. You both bow to the Right. You always have.
I know what you’re up to because I know you. You have never done anything other than stab the people of this nation, and your party’s base, in the back.
Now you seek to defame the most intelligent, progressive American leader in modern history so your loser spouse can have another chance at failure.
Shut the fuck up, asshat. Just shut your mealy mouth.
The base of the Democratic party put you out to pasture along with your ‘ol lady for a reason, you suck. You will always suck.

Be thankful for two things, Bill…

1) Obama was kind enough to give Betty a consolation prize she comes nowhere near deserving.

And…

2) That you’re not standing in the same room with me.
