Perhaps I should provide Conservative Terrorism a category of it’s own here at Ablogination.

Perhaps I should just entitle it “This will happen again"….

The epidemic is spreading and doing so faster and faster. Swine Flu? LOL. We have our own kind of Pig Flu going around the US right now.
The latest Pig just murdered a good man, Stephen Tyrone Johns, in cold blood during a Conservative extremist attack on a Holocaust Memorial in the nation’s capital.

Right Wing Conservative Terrorist and Nazi fuckbag, James von Brunn, let his hatred of Jews lead him to murder. von Brunn is expected to die from head injuries inflicted by Mr. Johns’ fellow guards and that’s good news.
However, it will not bring back a good man nor will it end the epidemic of Conservative Terrorism we now face.

And we face one. I hope someone somewhere is preparing for the escalation that is so obviously inevitable.

From the Washington Post bwo The Kansas City Star:

James W. von Brunn was growing despondent.

John de Nugent, an acquaintance who describes himself as a white separatist, noticed the change when they last spoke two weeks ago.

“He said his Social Security had been cut and that he was barely making it,” de Nugent said. “He felt it was the direct result of someone in Washington looking at his Web site.”

In one of his e-mail blasts expressing his white supremacist views, the man police sources say shot and killed a security guard yesterday at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum told readers that they shouldn’t expect to hear from him again. Von Brunn was shot and critically wounded by museum guards.

He was about to give away his computer, his primary connection to the fringe world of radical racists. He was living hand to mouth.

The e-mails were getting violent in tone: “It’s time to kill all the Jews.”

Von Brunn, who lives in Annapolis, was known for decades to fellow white supremacists who read his elaborate conspiracy theories on his Web site and met him through a network of radical racist groups. He was smart enough to join Mensa, but even admirers considered him a loner, a hothead and a man consumed with hatred.

As an avowed white supremacist and anti-Semite, von Brunn was tracked by civil rights groups.

The Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors hate groups, has kept an eye on him since 1981. Lately, it has focused on his Web site, holywesternempire.org. Von Brunn, 88, worked at Noontide Press, a California-based distributor of books on the “Jewish Question.”

His book, “Kill the Best Gentiles,” is a screed against the Talmud and is dedicated to Revilo Oliver, a well-known denier of the Holocaust. Von Brunn’s writings condemning “Negroes” and Jews were prolific.

“We had multiple entries on this guy,” said Heidi Beirich, the center’s director of research.

Von Brunn’s neighbors said yesterday that they invited him to their home for a drink recently. Apropos of nothing, they said, he raised his belief that the Holocaust did not occur.

Todd Blodgett, a former Reagan White House aide who later worked with several extremist groups, met regularly with von Brunn in the 1990s and early 2000s.

“Von Brunn is obsessed with Jewish people,” Blodgett said. “He had equal contempt for both Jews and blacks, but if he had to pick one group to wipe out, he’d always say it would be Jews.”

Blodgett was part-owner of Resistance Records, which distributed music by white racist groups, and worked for Willis Carto, the founder of Liberty Lobby, a radical right group.

Depressing……

This will happen again.

Last year, before President Obama was elected President, a commonplace couple of West Tennessee area skinheads, Paul Schlesselman (18) and Daniel Cowart (20), were staying at the home of Cowart's maternal grandparents in Hayword County while planning yet another right wing murderous rampage. During an investigation, the grandfather gave permission for the Haywood County Sheriff Deputies to search his house. Law enforcement agents found and confiscated swords, knives, a handgun, a high-powered rifle and a sawed off shotgun belonging to the two white supremacists.

The Sheriff's Department contacted federal investigators afterwards who interviewed the two skinheads. The two fanatics, who were consequently arrested, boasted about their right-wing fantasy of shooting the President-to-be from a speeding car while wearing white tuxedos and top hats.

These two white supremacists also bragged to authorities about their plan to go on a cross-country robbing & killing spree of other so-called 'black' Americans ending in their final, self-perceived blaze of glory, attacking President-to-be Obama.

Last month, their lawyer attempted to persuade a judge to throw out the evidence seized because the authorities 'did not have a warrant'. Earlier this month, U.S. Judge Daniel Breen issued his ruling, refusing to throw out the evidence and also refusing to dismiss statements made by the two skinheads because the authorities had clearly received permission to search from Cowart's grandfather and because "...interrogating agents made reasonable efforts to inform both defendents of their constitutional rights, ensure their understanding of these rights and obtain voluntary waivers..." (an excerpt of the judges's ruling).

Federal authorities had also searched and subsequently seized cell phones, computers and "other items" from the Cowart home and, as well, from the home of Schlesselman's father in nearby Arkansas.

Cowart, of Bells, Tennessee, and Schlesselman, of Helena-West Helena, Arkansas are presently awaiting trial without bond. No trial date has yet been set. May justice prevail!

Kudos to law enforcement agents in Tennessee who arrested these two right-wing fanatics BEFORE they went on their own hate crusade preventing needless mayhem & murders. Perhaps, if other law enforcement agents around the country were as vigilant, more white supremacists would be in jail BEFORE they implement their killing sprees of innocent victims rather than AFTER when it's obviously too late - in jail, where they belong, in order to protect American society. In jail BEFORE they carry through the acts which they TELL authorities they are going to do beforehand on their websites, in their writings, and in their speeches. When are certain people going to start receiving prudent and just consequences for their hate speech before it's too late to really matter?

Meanwhile, the son of Stephen Tyrone Johns no longer has a father because another piece of murderous right wing trash, James W. von Brunn (another one of those stereotypical, 'educated' but not having a clue as far as reality goes and hate-spewing Holocaust deniers), shot and killed his father earlier this week in Washington, D.C. while his father was working (where he had been employed for the past six years) at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.

Regarding the murder, Anti-Defamation League national director, Abraham H. Foxman, said, "Brunn's evil attack, at the very place that was created to remember and teach about evil in the world, is an immediate reminder that words of hate matter, that we can never afford to ignore hate because words of hate can easily become acts of hate, no matter the place, no matter the age of the hatemonger".

I remember those two skinhead fucks. I think they were more talk than anything but one never knows.
Just more evidence of the attitude of promoting the Us and Them mentality that the Bush/NeoCon era gave us.

As for Foxman, I'm not at all surprised that a Zionist dirt bag like him would take advantage of such a tragedy to suggest that (and he did, just not in so many words) we suppress anti-Israel or even anti-Jewish speech.
There is no connection between criticizing Israel and the kind of hatred of Jews we see in this tragedy.
