Summery of Current Events
Just a few points to make….
1) NY State Sen. Pedro Espada, a Bronx Democrat and complete and total traitor, assisted the NY Republicans in doing something they could never do without his treason. Be significant.
Bottom line? Pedro Espada is the kind of Zell Miller/Joe Lieberman type bitch the Democratic party can well do without.
2) Scary Sara Palin, Governor of Alaska, failed Republican VP nominee and unbelievable moron, is mad at David Letterman for “insulting” (pokin’ fun at) her daughter.
The Alaska governor appeared on NBC’s “Today” show Friday, continuing a feud with the CBS “Late Show” funnyman over his joke earlier this week that Palin’s daughter got “knocked up” by New York Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez during their recent trip to New York.
Well, Sara. You should be glad Letterman runs that show and I don’t.
Because if I did, I wouldn’t be quite as reserved as Dave when I called your Daughter and you both skanks.
You’re an idiot, your family are idiots and A-moral, white trash losers.
Need me to write it crayon?
3) In Iraq, a fifteen year old Shiite boy gunned down the Parliamentary leader of the Sunni people, Harith Obeidi, in just one of many assassinations that will materialize in the future. The killing raised fears the coming months will see a sharp rise in assassinations and other violence, as most American forces depart from Iraq and campaigning intensifies with national elections scheduled for January.
Just exactly what we said would happen many times before, right here on this blog.
The sheer stupidity of George Bush, his cabal and the Republican ex-majority has cost the lives of over 4300 of our troops, nearly one million Iraqis, and the lives of those who will die needlessly in the coming years as the Iran-backed Islamic Fundamentalist “Government” of Jalal Talabani and Nouri al-Maliki sees American troops withdraw.
When we finally depart from Iraq, the Shiite ethnic cleansing of the Sunni will rage out of control.
4) In Austin Texas, a Sheriff’s deputy named Chris Bieze has been caught on film tasering a 72 year old woman during a routine traffic stop.
The grandmother, Kathryn Winkfein, though not exactly cooperative, posed no threat whatsoever to the enormous, fat-assed Bieze yet this particular cop proved to be pussy enough to need a weapon to force an elderly woman to submit to his whim. Even though Ms. Winkfein was not under arrest and there is no law in Texass requiring anyone to sign a ticket.
The coward tasered Winkfein after she refused to sign the citation and seemingly for no other reason.
We challenge Sheriff Hamilton, another fat guy in a uniform, to be the man his deputy clearly isn’t and fire the coward immediately.
A cop so severely lacking in fortitude not only a danger to the general public, he’s dangerous to his fellow officers as well.
Cowards aren’t much good under fire.
Bieze should be working graveyard shift security at a cheap motel in Houston if that’s all the man he is.
Sheriff Hamilton can be contacted here:
http://www.tcsheriff.org/commandstaff/hamilton.html
Let him know what you think. We sure as hell did.
CORRECTION:
It has been brought to our attention that Sheriff Hamilton IS NOT RESPONSIBLE for Bieze.
Apparently, Bieze is a Deputy Constable. Not a Deputy Sheriff.
This blogger was contacted by Sheriff Hamilton personally and we hereby retract any effort to connect him or his agency with the coward.
The Constable’s office and the Travis County Sheriff’s Office are not related agencies.
These are Sheriff Hamilton’s words as we received them:
NEWS RELEASE TRAVIS COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE P.O. Box 1748, Austin, Texas 78767
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: June 10, 2009
Sheriff’s Response to Constables Office Use Of Force Incident Due to the numerous calls received because of media reports saying to call my office I have decided to release this statement.
On May 11, 2009 the Travis County Constables Office arrested Kathryn Winkfein and charged her with Resisting Arrest. During the incident the deputy constable used his electronic control device, commonly known as a Tazer.
The incident was recorded on the officers in car video camera and has since become a favorite video for media to incite responses to their programs.
As Sheriff of Travis County, I want to make two things perfectly clear.
First, the deputy constable does not work for my agency. The Constables Office is a separate office with the Constable elected to office by an individual precinct.
Second, I do not personally agree with the actions of the deputy constable as they are shown in the video. When I look at the video I am in awe of what happened. Respectfully, Sheriff Greg Hamilton ### Submitted By: Roger Wade, Public Information Officer, (512) 854-4986

We extend our deepest apologies to Sheriff Hamilton and his staff.
Comments, Pingbacks:
But, Espada, who was made #2 in New York, politically speaking, sequentially in line behind the governor, after Monserrate, all of the republicans & he 'made it so', insists that he is still the president of the State senate.
Meanwhile, State Senator John Sampson has replaced Malcolm Smith as the primary 'honcho' of the democrats. Sampson & Smith have sent a letter to the republicans wanting a deal to 'share the power' in New York. Dean Skelos, the main republican 'honcho' in the State, agreed to "negotiate" such a power-sharing agreement IF the democrats first recognized him as the 'legitimate' leader of the majority party (last week, the democrats declared that Skelos was not the majority leader because the entire rigmarole with the vote switching and everything else was nothing but "an unlawful coup".
Whew!
Tennessee may have New York beat as far as having racist scum in certain political offices (South Carolina is surely #2 in the racist scum department), but for absolute entertainment, New York gets the prize.
Regarding the so-called 'coup' in New York - the two democrats who voted (along with the republicans) on a 'motion to reorganize' the State Senate, Hiram Monserrante of Queens and Pedro Espada of the Bronx, effectively returned control of New York State to the republicans. For his 'assistance', Espada was 'annointed' Senate President and became 2nd in command (after Governor David Paterson).....
.....Monserrate:
"was indicted for allegedly slashing his girlfriend in the face with a broken glass... (He) was charged with six counts of assaulting his girlfriend, Karla Giraldo. She needed twenty stitches over her left eye. Security cameras in his apartment complex show Monserrate dragging her out of the building on Dec. 19. The same cameras show her desperately banging on a neighbor's door seeking help during the incident, just a month after his election to the (New York State) Senate. The lawmaker pleaded not guilty and insisted the blows to his girlfriend were an accident. He is awaiting trial."
..... the New York Times has reported that:
"Highlighting the often elastic nature of ethical stands and alliances in Albany, Republicans who earlier this year were calling on Mr. Monserrate to resign after his indictment on felony charges that he stabbed his companion with a broken glass are now welcoming (I GUESS THAT SHOULD NOW BE "WERE WELCOMING") him as part of their power-sharing coalition."
It has more than it's share, and ours, of racists in high places also...

NY is kinda like California in the way that they will elect politicians on star quality instead of substance (Clinton, Gulianni, Coumo/Reagan, Terminator, Nixon....)
But they do elect fairly decent people for the most part.
I'm a big fan of Rep. Maurice Hinchey. He's a class act if there ever was one. Better than anything we have in office in Tennessee.
LOL. One giant soap opera. Reminds me of the Tennessee Waltz affair. Only bi-partisan. :D
