Phil Roe's Truthiness Woes Pt 1

Permalink 07:12:33 pm, Categories: Tennessee Politics

Don’t you just love signing up for Republican chain emails? You don’t have to read the news to catch their lies, just get on a mailing list.

Just received the latest batch of baffling bullshit that oozes from the gooey orifice we commonly refer to as The RNC.
This particular batch coming by way of TN-1 Congressional Rep, Phil “Dr. NO” Roe.

In Phil Roe’s most recent email he states….

“…However, the proposed legislation (HR 3200) before us in Congress will squeeze private insurance companies out of business by requiring them to subsidize the cost of care for those on government-sponsored care, which will eventually result in a government-run system, similar to those in England or Canada.“

First of all, Corporate Insurance Companies like CIGNA ect will be taxed. Those are not “small private insurance companies” like Buddy Crump out on the parkway. Nice try, Phil.
Second, England, for instance, pays for it’s health care by general taxation. Not with “insurance companies subsidizing it".
England has private insurance for those willing to pay for it.

Roe is either a liar, or he doesn’t even know what he’s talking about.

The fool continues….

“Because I know Americans have come to enjoy their ability to get the care they need, I just don’t think a single-payer system will work in America, particularly because care is only given if it fits within a budget. That is not what we are all about.“

Roe assumes all Americans get the care they need. He is obviously a sheltered, out of touch pansy. Or, he’s just parroting the RNC lies.

Then, he calls it “Single Payer". HR 3200 is NOT “Single Payer". HR 676 is.
Roe can’t even do his job as a congressman and know which legislation he’s talking about.

Then Roe says…

“particularly because care is only given if it fits within a budget. That is not what we are all about.“

That is an outright, bold faced lie. Insurance companies refuse care if it can’t be budgeted. Not the proposed system. That is a fact and Roe is a liar.

“That is not what we are all about.“

What we’re not about is Roe’s Satanic lies. This man goes to church every Sunday. Says he’s a “Christian".

Who Would Jesus Heal, Dr. Roe?
I double-dog dare you to answer that question.

Health Care Debate Continues

As we have seen in many recent national and local news stories, emotions are running high at health care town hall meetings. The government option has emerged as one of the most contentious elements of legislation taking shape in Congress. As I listen to each of you at town hall meetings throughout East Tennessee, it is constant reinforcement to continue fighting for your interests in Congress.

By reading the current health care legislation we have before us today in Congress and thinking about its potential impact, I know H.R. 3200 is bad medicine for this country and we should simply start over. It’s becoming evident many in Congress feel the same way, as evidenced by a recent CNN news story in which Rep. Allen Boyd (D-FL) said that it would be an ‘excellent idea’ to start over on health care. Congress has a real chance to work together – Democrats and Republicans alike – to create true health care reform for this nation that would not further increase our deficit, hurt small businesses or create a one-size-fits-all single-payer system.

Constituents all around the country are voicing their opinions in town hall meetings. As I have been saying, health care is not a partisan issue, it is a people issue. I truly believe that reforms and improvements are needed, ranging from finding ways to provide coverage for the uninsured to cutting fraud and waste. However, the proposed legislation before us in Congress will squeeze private insurance companies out of business by requiring them to subsidize the cost of care for those on government-sponsored care, which will eventually result in a government-run system, similar to those in England or Canada. Because I know Americans have come to enjoy their ability to get the care they need, I just don’t think a single-payer system will work in America, particularly because care is only given if it fits within a budget. That is not what we are all about.

In addition, there is a major cost concern that we’re facing with a government-run health care plan. This week in the Wall Street Journal, John Mackey – the CEO of Whole Foods – expressed that “while health reform is needed, the last thing our country needs is a massive new health care entitlement that will create hundreds of billions of dollars of new unfunded deficits and move us much closer to a government takeover of our health-care system.” I agree with him that we should work to achieve reforms by moving in the opposite direction—toward “less government control and more individual empowerment.”

Before Congress adjourned for the August District Work Period, I accepted the President’s invitation to go over the health care bill “line-by-line.” At a health care press conference even the White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs confirmed that a meeting would be set between me and the President. To-date, I have not heard from the President’s office confirming a time and date to meet, despite my continual outreach to have this meeting. I am awaiting the confirmation, and look forward to discussing this important piece of legislation with the President.

Because H.R. 3200 will ultimately affect every one of us, I am conducting several town hall meetings in East Tennessee to hear your concerns. Enclosed is a list of town hall meetings I have conducted or will be conducting for the remainder of the District Work Period. I hope that if you haven’t yet, you will be able to join me for these important Town Hall Meetings.

Summary of Current Events

Permalink 04:01:16 pm, Categories: Had to post it

:(

1) Ted Kennedy:

We have a new Martyr in the fight for National Health care. Ted Kennedy is dead, and we now owe it to him to fight, harder than ever, to establish a significant Public Option. This was his dream. It has always been his dream.
Ted Kennedy, though imperfect like the rest of us, stood for many Progressive causes and achieved results.
Resolve like his is unfortunately a rare occurrence in the Democratic Party.

For that, more than anything else, I will miss him.

2) Chuck (suck) Melancon makes Senate bid official:

I implore the citizens of Melancon’s district in the great state of Louisiana to run another Democrat against Charlie Melancon.
Melancon is a scum bag. A Blue Dogshit loser who is no different from Sen. David Vitter, the Republican incumbent.
Remember when you choose a potential candidate, Louisiana. Rep Charlie Melancon did everything he could to prevent you from having a choice in health care.
Vitter/Melancon. Same shit, different party.

3) Karl Rove: Traitor, Coward, Liar:

Rove’s latest attempt to lie to Senior Citizens and scare them into believing that Medicare Advantage adjustments would cause them to lose the benefits is the new, desperate attempt to scare up opposition to reform.
From the only tabloid that will give Traitor Rove a column, the FOX Street Journal:

…Already, an estimated 10.2 million seniors—one out of five in America—have enrolled in Medicare Advantage. Mr. Obama is proposing to cut the program by nearly 20% and thus reduce the amount of money each will have to buy insurance. This will likely force most of them to lose the insurance they have now. Yet Mr. Obama promised in late July in New Hampshire that, “if you like your health-care plan, you can keep your health-care plan.”

There are roughly 23,400 seniors on average in a congressional district who have Medicare Advantage, but who face losing it if Mr. Obama has his way. That’s enough votes to tip most competitive House and Senate races. - Karl Rove

First of all, you fucking traitorous pig, the vast majority of those Seniors were tricked, duped, deceived…whatever, into signing up for “Advantage". Those corporate vermin who tricked these folks into signing up neglected to tell them things like the fact that they are not traditional Medicare. They’re a company who uses the name “Medicare” fraudulently.

Seniors paid, got minimal coverage, and had to travel long distances to find a participating physician. Many were no longer able to use their family doctors and even more were denied necessary treatment.

Secondly, you son of a downtown LA whore.
Medicare Advantage is not insurance. It is a supplement that has driven the cost of care higher because the gov’t pays around 15% more for “Advantage” than it does real Medicare. Cutting that, then re-investing it into the regular program will allow Seniors to have better benefits without paying the extra money.

Third, little bitch-boy, Seniors will be far better off without Medicare Disadvantage and the greed-laden filth, not unlike yourself, who have taken “Advantage” of Senior Citizens and ripped off the tax payer can go jump off the nearest skyscraper.
People like you make better mud puddles than citizens.

You’re a lying Piglet, Karl.
I respectfully request that you go hang yourself.

Love, Kona.

4) No hope. White or otherwise:

U.S. Rep. Lynn Jenkins, a Kansas Republican, recently stated that the Republicans need a “Great White Hope” in opposition to Obama’s Presidency.
I love it when the idiots say things like this. It just cripples the GOP further and that’s a good thing.

Fact is, the Republican party needs more than a “great white hope". They need brains, souls, and humanity. None of which they are capable of delivering.
Hey, Michael Steele, the Great Black Hope for the RNC is a total failure. Why would the other side of the coin be any different?

Republicans are hopeless. White, Black, Brown or whatever color they come in. They’re all scum and America knows it.

5) Glenn Beck:

The Whine King is all bent over because of the seemingly very effective boycott of his advertisers. Beck, the effeminate talk show host that called President Obama a “racist” is losing money and attracting flies.

Good. Now if only his father had boycotted his mother.

6) Obama Bike Ride: No Pretzels

The President went on a bike ride while on vacation.
His ride ended without anyone being injured. What a concept.

Reconciliation: Go for the Throat

If the Democrats in Congress and the President have the guts to do it, all question about their courage and sincerity will wash away.

This would take real balls and that’s exactly what the party needs more of.

They call it, “reconciliation". And it will work in this instance.
As long as we do the right thing and completely turn our backs on the Republicans and other Immoral Minority members.
Just tell them to fuck off. It’s as simple as that.
Why the hell are we still negotiating with these vermin? They don’t want to reach “bi-partisan” any-fucking-thing. They want the status quo and the money it affords them.

From CNN:

WASHINGTON (CNN) – The Obama administration is looking hard at pushing through a health care reform bill without Republican backing, top Democrats close to the White House told CNN.
Democrats say Republicans, particularly Iowa Sen. Charles Grassley, aren’t serious about striking a deal.

Democrats say Republicans, particularly Iowa Sen. Charles Grassley, aren’t serious about striking a deal.

The Democratic majority in the Senate has been stymied in the health care debate by Republicans and conservative Democrats, leaving them short of the 60-vote filibuster-proof margin needed to pass the bill.

Democratic success could depend on an obscure tactic called reconciliation, a type of budget maneuver that requires only a simple majority – 51 votes – to pass.

Congressional Democrats authorized the maneuver specifically for health care reform legislation during the debate over the 2010 budget, which passed in April.

One top Senate Republican warned at the time that using reconciliation to pass such a measure would be “like a declaration of war.”

Going it alone could be risky for Democrats, not because they couldn’t raise the votes, but because Republicans could cast it as a power play, accusing them of failing to win bipartisan support. A Quinnipiac University survey released two weeks ago showed that 59 percent of registered voters nationwide oppose passage of health care legislation if the bill fails to win bipartisan support.

But it’s a fight Democrats might nevertheless be willing to enter.

“If we have to push it through this way, no one is going to remember how messy it was,” a top White House adviser told CNN. “At the end of the day, they’ll remember we got health care reform done. A win is a win.”

Democrats have done everything we can to try to include the vermin but all diplomacy has failed.
Fine, fuck ‘em.
Just exactly the way we were treated when they had the majority.

C’mon, Progressives. Let’s put our books down and start throwing blows. We cannot allow these Right Wing “Un-Americans” to have anything. Nothing.
It’s over.
Call or write the White House NOW! Tell the President to shove reform down the Right’s necks until they choke on it.

http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/

Call or write the Congressional Progressive Caucus and thank and encourage them to continue to stand firm.

http://cpc.grijalva.house.gov/

We have to be the loudest. We have to act like the majority that we truly are. There will not be another chance to wrest control of health care from the corporate criminals who presently run it.

Fight, fuck or hit the fence!
This is it, people.

Quit Drinking the Kool Aid, Liberals!

Permalink 09:34:15 pm, Categories: Had to post it

Just a reminder both to Righty and some fellow Liberals, who for some reason unbeknownst to me, seem all too willing to buy into what the Tea Bag Fags are selling….

THE FUCKING PUBLIC OPTION IS NOT DEAD!
>:-(>:-(>:-(>:-(>:-(>:-(>:-(>:-(>:-(>:-(

What the hell are you people thinking? Did you just dive into a KoolAid pool and swallow? You know what they say about people who swallow? They begin to acquire a taste for it.

Of course Barack Obama is not showing enough aggression, he’s no Dennis Kucinich….But he’s what we have. He’s all we have.
I’d give anything to see him stand up, wave the finger to the Republicans, and install Single Payer with the stroke of a pen.
But again, he’s no Kucinich. No Howard Dean.

President Obama has stated, numerous times, that he wants the Public Option. He cannot be a great President and fail on the Public Option at the same time. He will be a failure from that point on no matter what he does later. And he knows it.
There are 64 members of the House Progressive Caucus that have stated emphatically that there will be no legislation at all unless it has the Public Option intact. The Progressive Caucus is the largest Caucus in the democratic party.
The goal right now is to gain Senate approval. Hence the maneuvering. The measure still must go back to a House that is overwhelmingly in favor of the Public Option.

We’re going to do this or die trying.

Each and every one of us who supports the Public Option needs to be on the fucking phone to the White House, Pelosi, the Progressive Caucus and everybody else.
While you’re at it, call the Blue Dogshits too and let them know you’ll never rest until they are out of office and replaced by new blood.

THIS IS A FUCKING WAR! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!
Either support the movement or go the fuck home. Just stop parroting the Doom-Speak of the fucking enemy and the “you should have voted for Hillary” asshats. She can’t even meet students in Africa without making a fool of herself.

Here are a few scum who’s names should be remembered:

Kent Conrad (D) ND, FUCK YOU!

Blue Dogshit hypocrite bastards, FUCK YOU!

Kathleen Sebelius, Keep your fucking fly trap shut!

Steven Pearlstein, Washington Post Business Columnist, you’re a fucking coward just like I told you via email.

From the Washington Post:

Administration officials insisted that they have not shied away from their support for a public option to compete with private insurance companies, an idea they said Obama would still prefer to see in a final bill.

But at a time when the president had hoped to be selling middle-class voters on the ways in which insurance reforms would benefit them, the White House instead finds itself mired in a Democratic Party feud over an issue it never intended to spotlight.

“I don’t understand why the left of the left has decided that this is their Waterloo,” said a senior White House adviser, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “We’ve gotten to this point where health care on the left is determined by the breadth of the public option. I don’t understand how that has become the measure of whether what we achieve is health-care reform.”

“It’s a mystifying thing,” he added. “We’re forgetting why we are in this.”

Anonymous “senior White House adviser” and DLC Clintonista piece of shit, I know who you are.
Obama has three “Senior Advisors”
1) David Axelrod
2) Peter Rouse
3) Valerie Jarrett

Jarrett has a policy of never saying anything in public that might create confusion or compromise Obama. It’s not her.

Peter Rouse is hard core. As tough as a real Liberal gets. He knows these words would cause Obama even more grief. It’s not him.

That leaves you, David Assholerod. The Clinton worshiping Centrist.
Of course you “don’t understand", half wit. You’re a Centrist Jellyspine. You think the Public Option is your bargaining chip? It’s life and death to American citizens, scumbag. And then there’s this other thing you wouldn’t understand either. It’s called “principal".
Being a fucking pragmatist, you don’t see that allowing a horde of lying vermin to overpower Obama’s base will cost him that base.
We will abandon ship, asshat. That’s a promise.
You fail on the PO, the Right screams victory all the way to 2010.
It called fighting for what’s right, Assholerod. Something you seem to know very little about.
So stand aside and shut you sorry ass. Those of us who have the balls to fight will handle it.
The only thing that’s “mystifying” is the level of cowardice you display.
And we haven’t forgotten “why we’re in this". We’re in this to win, and we will not kneel and perform political fellatio on the Right as you so willingly are.

Oh, let’s not forget the Reich Wing.
Right Wing, we’re doing this shit and you can get fucked. You and yours.
I spit on your very fucking existence.
:##

The Public Option is not dead. But it surely will be if we sit around and allow these sub-humanoid fake-ass “protesters", the Insurance Industry filth that employ and manipulate them, and the traitors within the Democratic party to be the loudest noise in the government’s ears.

Obama may not have the cohonies to draw a line in the sand. But Democratic Progressives do. And we have.

The Public Option is not negotiable.

Health Reform Will Succeed: Why I Believe

Permalink 10:07:08 pm, Categories: Right-Winger Wringer, Obamarama

There is no “debate” on health care. The opposition has no argument to offer. No alternative legislation, much less ideas. The only alternative that exists is HR 676, the superior plan. But it too comes from Progressives, not opponents.

The time for talk is over. It has been tried and it has failed. There are those who hopelessly cling to the idea of “bi-partisan” resolutions and such, but their efforts have proven to be very much in vain.
Naturally, you’ll get no ideas or actual discourse from the Right. As much as I admire this desire to find some sort of common ground on this issue, the fact remains that explaining the benefits of reform to the Right is like explaining Calculus to a three year old. You can teach until you’re blue in the face but they still aren’t capable of absorbing it.

And that’s just one kind of anti-health disruptor. There are other categories.

You also have the greed-laden Republican/Libertarian-Right who simply don’t care about his/her nation or the suffrage of others. As long as they have theirs everyone else can die. These people make up the vast majority of those opposing reform as they are mostly involved in the insurance industry or are in that industry’s pockets.
This category also includes Blue Dog Democrats.

Then we have those who are strictly politically motivated. They hate the “Democrat", “Socialist", “Nigger” etc.. in the White House and would sell their own mother to a street gang if it would help their agenda.
This group has a history of terrorism and will commit more such atrocities in the future.

Obama and the Democrats have no choice but to use their majorities and drive this legislation home or they will look like the biggest bunch of lames since the BeeGees. They will lose the Progressive majority in the Democratic Party and when they lose us they lose elections. The last thing Dems want is us voting Green or not at all. Especially after the power we proved we have in ‘08.

We got a Black Man elected President. We have the power to elect anyone we want. Un-elect them too. ;)

Essentially, we are at war. Our enemy is the enemy of health care reform. Whoever or wherever they may be found. Be they across “the isle” on sitting right next to us, they are the enemy.

All diplomatic effort has been exhausted. They lie, we expose it. If they want violence we will provide it.
But there will be health care reform. At least if a Democrat ever wants to be elected to anything again.

The enemy was right about one thing. This will be Obama’s Waterloo if he fails to lead this movement, which he himself started, to absolute victory. Nothing he could do after that would erase failure on health care reform. Nothing.

The Public Option is not negotiable.
That’s the bottom line.
Barack Obama simply cannot afford people the opportunity to say “Obama was weaker than Bush". But that’s what will be said if he fails to assert himself. And in some ways, it would be correct.

Barack has to get this done. With or without the Republicans and their Blue Dogshit subordinates.
Signing statement, Executive Order, whatever it takes.
If the “Un-Americans” don’t get out of the way, we’ll grind them into the beaten path like so many ants.
We’re with you, Mr President. Lead for Christ’s sake. Lead!

The skipper needs some exercise. Other than benching 300 lbs and soforth. I think I’ve found a productive way to do it.

My good friend, Tim Valentine of Thoughts, Ideas and Suggestions wrote recently about a scumbag “un-American” blogger by the name of Kurt Feigel.
Mr. Feigel operates the website called sendarope.com
Seems this childish fellow wants to instigate violence against the Liberals and Democrats he calls “traitors” etc…
He advocates “shooting” Democrats in congress and sending them “rope” as intimidation.

Well, I’m happy to oblige as always.

I, captainkona, have challenged Kurt (Rope Boy) Feigle to an MMA Cage Fight. If it’s violence he wants, fine.
The “Ruckus” takes place in Abingdon, VA this Fall. It is a mixed martial arts tournament that has an open registration and I know those who promote it personally.
I can get the fight set up with a phone call or two.
Rope Boy looks physically fit. Shouldn’t be anything preventing him from fighting other than pure fear.

Kurt Feigel-Born to Tap Out
Kurt Feigel

All proceeds will be given to the charity of the winner’s choice.

I posted the challenge to his blog (or tried to) along with some tasty words about his mother.
This official challenge is not a joke. I am serious as a heart attack and I insist that Rope Boy doesn’t have the guts to accept.

If he does accept:
The fight will be recorded and YouTubed for all to see regardless of the outcome.

If he does not accept:
Then we know he’s about a -20 on a Man Scale of 1-10 and his threats and ramblings are as toothless as the average Republican.

He has my e-mail. I’ll keep you updated.

In the mean time, you could contact “Rope Boy” and encourage him to accept at:

Kurt Feigel (Kurtsnet@Hotmail.com)
92 Mountain Peak Dr
Lynchburg, VA 24502
US

Call and write, please.
:)

Update:

Rope Boy still has not responded to the challenge, as predicted.
Imagine that. I guess his love for violence shuts off with his PC at night.
One should think that such a Right Wing Republican Evangelical Pig such as this would jump at the chance to harm a Socialist. Maybe he just needs more time to examine his Manness. Or lack thereof as the case may be.

Maybe I should let him pass it off to Ted Nugent. Another lame who needs his face rearranged.

We’ll be patient….

There are no words to describe the contribution this great man has made to music.
We shall miss you, Les.

Thanx for everything.

Les Paul, 1915 - 2009
Les Paul, 94, a guitarist and inventor who changed the course of music with the electric guitar, multitrack recording and a string of hits, died Thursday in White Plains, N.Y.

Continued:

I found a few words, but they still won’t touch the reality of Les Paul.

Do you young music lovers out there know that, without Les Paul, none of the music you listen to would exist?
You love music. Anyone with any semblance of a life does. Without Les Paul you would have no stereo recordings or deep instrumentation to listen to. Les Paul invented multi-tracking on recorded music.
He invented the solid body electric guitar. Think about that.

Les Paul invented the “riff". He was the first guitarist to break a lead instead of just strumming chords.
Everything we listen to is a reflection of the gifts Les Paul gave us. No matter what kind of music it is.

So if it’s Hendrix, Roy Clark, Speed Metal or some Rap music…you have Les Paul to thank for it.
Remember that.

Beyond music, Les Paul was the kind of man that most of us will never be. A man who spent his life putting others before himself.
Remember that most of all…

Summary of Current Events

Stuff is happening faster than I can blog. 8|

1) Iraq:

Most unfortunately, the ultimate result of the failed BushCo invasion-for-oil of Iraq is getting closer.
Perhaps it’s too much to ask, but I hope that somewhere along the line we’ve learned something from the needless sacrifice of so many lives.

Iraq bombs kill 40, fears of sectarian strife grow

Monday, August 10, 2009; 10:35 AM

MOSUL, Iraq (Reuters) - Bombs across Iraq killed at least 40 people on Monday, ripping through mostly Shi’ite areas and raising fears of a resurgence in sectarian violence just as politicians hope to reach out to old foes for January polls.

2) The Un-Americans:

Speaker Pelosi recently referred to the anti-health obstructionists as “un-American".
Well, Nance…It’s about time you found the guts to tell it like it is.
Well, almost.

These Birther/Healther/Tea Bag Fags are bought and paid for traitors. Filthy cowards who gladly take payoffs from the opponents of reform while keeping American kids from getting health care.
I don’t know about you, Nancy, but I spit on the very existence of these vermin and their families.

This is war. Fuck these cowards.

anti health care

3) Durbin Poison:

Democratic Senator, Dick Durbin recently showed a lot of weakness on CNN as he came off like a scared little rabbit when discussing the Public Option. Understand this, Dick…
The Public Option is NOT NEGOTIABLE. DO YOU FUCKING UNDERSTAND YOU MISERABLE, WEAK-KNEED ASSHAT?

MAN UP! >:-(

“Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said Sunday on CNN’s ‘State of the Union’ that he is committed to getting a bipartisan bill, even if it means sacrificing a public insurance option. ‘It doesn’t have to be a perfect bill,’ Durbin said. ‘I support a public option, but yes I am open. I want to make sure we do something positive for the American people.’” But Sen. John Cornyn said that “while ‘there’s a lot of middle ground where we can meet, I don’t see how we can make much headway’ unless the public insurance option is off the table entirely.”

4) Death Panel Palin:

Did we mention what a complete and total Bush-like blithering idiot Sara Palin is?

by Robert Wright

What more is there to say about Sarah Palin’s now-famous claim that President Obama’s health-care plan features “death panels” that will give patients the thumbs up or thumbs down? Just that, if this were Obama’s plan, it would have more in common with our current system than you might think.

In Palin’s fantasy, the death-panel “bureaucrats” were going to pick winners and losers based on a judgment about their “level of productivity in society.” Well, if you view income as a gauge of a person’s productivity in society—and God knows there are Republicans who do—then the quality of health care is already correlated with “productivity in society.” Obama’s plan, by making health care more affordable to lower income people, would make that less true.

5) Is there a Doctor in the house?:

Thankfully, in spite of the way the DNC has tried to sweep Howard Dean under the rug, Dean’s commitment to country and people is unwavering.
If you want to know how to get health care for all Americans, you have to ask Dr. Dean.

Howard Dean: How Republican Attack Dogs Plan to Thwart Health Reform

By Howard Dean, Chelsea Green Publishing. Posted August 3, 2009.

The longer Republicans obscure the real issues and obstruct health care reform efforts, the higher the costs will rise.

During the early 1990s, under the leadership of Representative Newt Gingrich (R-GA) and Senator Bob Dole (R-KS) and bolstered by the ideological support of the Heritage Foundation, Cato Institute, and Manhattan Institute, Republicans successfully defeated President Clinton’s health reform effort. Conservatives of all stripes argued that health care reform was “creeping socialism” or “big government,” denied the existence of a health care crisis, or co-opted the term reform to push their own agendas and dilute support for a comprehensive solution to the nation’s health care crisis.

HR 3200 and Care Rationing: Just in Case

Permalink 01:55:39 pm, Categories: Right-Winger Wringer, Had to post it, Obamarama

Lesson 2: More lies from the BirthBaggers concerning Health Reform…

Another common brain-fart from the Right Wing enemy is that “government run health care will lead to “rationing"".

In fact, “rationing” is what is taking place in the health care industry now. It is one of the foremost reasons we need a Public Option coupled with strict gov’t oversight of companies involved.

Your insurance company can and does decide the quality of care you get by simply refusing to pay for the best treatments and forcing you to settle for the cheapest options, or nothing at all.
As we see in the case of CIGNA HMO murdering 17 year old Nataline Sarkiyan, this is a cold, hard fact.

Barack Obama’s plan is to make sure that patients get the best care available and that corrupt health care entities such as CIGNA will not have the final word in cases like Nataline’s. Nor will corrupt doctors be able to prescribe treatments or medications that a patient is not in need of, to pad their pockets and further harm the integrity of the system.

So when some conservanoid sub-human who wants to kill your children plays the “rationing card", remember Nataline. The child they murdered.

HR 3200 and Illegal Immigration: Just in Case

Permalink 07:36:36 pm, Categories: Right-Winger Wringer, Had to post it, Obamarama

Sooooo many liars, so little time…

The Scum (Republicans), have many a straw man to offer when it comes to HR 3200. One of the favorites is to imply that HR 3200 provides Illegal Immigrants with free health care under the Public Option.

(1) IN GENERAL- For purposes of this division, the term ‘affordable credit eligible individual’ means, subject to subsection (b), an individual who is lawfully present in a State in the United States (other than as a nonimmigrant described in a subparagraph (excluding subparagraphs (K), (T), (U), and (V)) of section 101(a)(15) of the Immigration and Nationality Act)–

SEC. 246. NO FEDERAL PAYMENT FOR UNDOCUMENTED ALIENS.

4
Nothing in this subtitle shall allow Federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States.

Illegal aliens ARE NOT afforded Federal coverage. That is a local or State issue.

I personally do not want to see Illegal Aliens receive the same rights that a genuine American receives. They should always be entitled to emergency care, but not health maintenance. Being an American should be something one strives to achieve. Taking away the incentives to become a citizen is unwise and counter productive in helping immigrants achieve citizenship.

The next time some clown tries to play the Illegal Alien card, your proof is in the actual legislation.

Someone who seemingly lacks the guts to identify them self has started deleting posts and comments critical of Blue Dogs.

No telling who it is because they obviously have a bad case of Blue Dog Jellyspine. A common disease, especially here in Tennessee.
My post containing KOs comment in no way violated any posting guidelines at TNDP but as of this moment, the fourth attempt to post is still “awaiting approval". The three previous posts were spirited away without explanation.

So here’s the post as it was originally presented. Void of any language that crosses the rules of the TNDP.org site:

Keith Olbermann Exposes Blue Dogs: Time for the TNDP to call them out.

Little else to say that I haven’t already said in previous blogs.

Mr. Forrester, you have the responsibility to call out Bart Gordon and the rest of the Blue Dogs and state the truth in clear and simple terms. Out in the open, not by email or behind closed doors.
Call them out and smack them down in front of us all. That is your job.
These greedy pigs, at least the TN versions, are your responsibility to speak out against.
People like Gordon are actively trying to stop Americans, Tennesseans, from having health care for ourselves and our children.

So far you’ve done well calling out the Republicans. Now let’s see what kind of guts you really have.
We have traitors in our midst. What are you going to do about it?

Orly Taitz, Depressed After Failure, Becomes Crack Whore

Permalink 03:09:04 pm, Categories: Subhumanity

It has been brought to our attention that Orly Taitz, the lawyer for the “Birther” movement, has been so demoralized and depressed after being exposed as a fraud, that she has resorted to selling her ass for crack.

This late breaking report comes on the heels of the discovery of the forged Kenyan birth certificate that was used to wrongly imply that President Obama was born anywhere other than Hawaii.

Taitz, a “lawyer” of Tel Aviv, Israel, has been the most prominent figure amongst Birthtards. A group of tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists who believe that Barack Obama was not born in the United States.

Having recently been exposed as a fraud, Taitz suffered an ego crushing and pocket book depleting break down that has forced her, in her shame, to seek the solace of the pipe.
No longer able to afford Botox, cheap bleached wigs, tan in a can and costume jewelry, Taitz suffered a complete mental meltdown and has been found in a cheap Houston, Texas motel with a crack pipe in one hand and a picture of Obama in the other.
Distraught and desperate, Taitz has been seen on the corner of Westheimer and Montrose beckoning passers by with a pipe and a forged birth certificate.

Orly, pictured below, isn’t much to look at even with hundreds of dollars worth of resurfacing.
WhOrly

But uncovered, with pipe in hand, we see a far more frightening image of the results of post-FAIL depression.
WhOrly

It’s sad to see a person self-destruct in this manner. Reverting to the bowels of loserdom and turning to the crack pipe never solves anyone’s problems. Perhaps if she had sought help when she decided to become a lying sack of Republitard shit she might have had a chance at a normal life.
But alas, now Crack WhOrly is just another one of the Republican Party’s official spokespersons along side Lou Dobbs, Rush Limbaugh, Sara Palin, Dick Cheney, the Tea Bag Fags and the rest of the Republican leadership.

You can’t make this stuff up.

:)):)):)):))

UPDATE:

This nutbag, Taitz, has been filed against. Papers have been filed in the State of California Bar Association seeking Ms. Taitz’s disbarment.

Big Thanx to Native Born Citizen. The rest is there.

Preface

A California attorney has decided that President Obama is ineligible to be president, and has taken on the mission of removing him from office — by force, if necessary. On at least two occasions, she has openly called for armed rebellion by the military, to arrest and imprison the elected President.

Her name is Orly Taitz. Using the power of the Internet, including blogs, online radio and television shows, and YouTube, she has become the national leader of a fringe movement. She has literally thousands of followers who think she is waging a lonely battle to uphold the Constitution, in the face of a conspiracy to place a usurper in the White House. Because her cause is so important, she has ignored the laws of the United States, established court procedures, and specifically, the California Rules of Professional Conduct. Specific violations are alleged below.

She has filed three lawsuits in California (two of which have been dismissed), and unsuccessfully attempted to file a fourth in federal court in Washington, D.C. Having been unable to achieve her goal by legal action, she has begun encouraging her followers nationwide to organize themselves as wholly unlawful “Citizens Grand Juries,” and making “presentations” to lead them in indicting President Obama on criminal “charges”. Already, a group of citizens in Georgia issued an “indictment” of the President, and “served” it on government officials, threatening violence if their “indictment” was ignored. Another such “indictment” is coming in early May, under her direction. In addition:

1) She has accused the following federal officials of treason and called for their indictments:

a) All the justices of the Supreme Court,
b) All the members of the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate,
c) Attorney General Eric Holder, Solicitor General Elena Kagan, and other federal officers,
d) and, of course, President Obama himself.

2) She has personally confronted two Supreme Court justices, when they made public appearances. On both occasions, she improperly tried to engage them in improper ex parte discussion of her case before the Court.

3) At her confrontation with Chief Justice Roberts, she gave two suitcases full of documents to his security detail, later claiming that she had “filed” a Motion for Reconsideration in one case, and a new lawsuit — though she paid no filing fee, failed to file with the clerk’s office, and showed no proof of service on opposing counsel. When her documents were not placed on the Supreme Court docket, she accused Justice Roberts of further treason and demanded his resignation.

4) She has openly encouraged and advised these unlawful “Citizens Grand Juries”. In Georgia on March 28, she “presented the case” before a “Citizens Grand Jury” of 25 people, who then issued an indictment of President Obama on charges of fraud. The “indictment” was then “served” on the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia, and on the Georgia Attorney General, on Georgia’s Speaker of the House, and on Georgia’s President of the Senate. http://www.riseupforamerica.com/index.html

We knew there must be a reason Taitz went to Israel just recently. Now we know.
