Dennis Kucinich, Maurice Henchey, Raúl Grijalva, Steve Cohen, Howard Dean…there are Democrats with the guts to stand up and fight. They are all members of the Progressive Caucus (Dean is freelancing at the moment).

Now, they have a new Heavyweight Champion. His name is Alan Grayson.

Usually it’s the Democratic women who have the gumption to challenge, forcefully, injustice and lies coming from the Right.
This is about the men, and the mice, of the party.

I can only hope that weak kneed upchucks of fluff like Harry Reid, Jim Cooper, Nelson, Gordon, Ross and the rest of the chickenshits might be motivated to revisit their manhood after a slick and stunning display of courage and truth on the floor of the House of Representatives.
As we wrote in the last entry, Alan Grayson stood up in the face of the Republitards and basically ridiculed them for the worthless, stale, Un-Americans they are.
You saw the vid in the previous post. You saw Grayson speak the truth with conviction and resolve the likes of which is seldom seen in Democratic politics.

While Blue Dogshits like Max Baucus continue to whimper and grovel at the feet of the enemies of freedom, true Progressives like Grayson know that courage and heart are the pathway to respect and unity.
Democrats cannot unite behind cowardice. That’s why we find ourselves divided so often. Usually to the detriment of the people and the party.
The Democratic party must become galvanized like they have never been during this time of majorital superiority. If the example set yesterday by this great progressive, Grayson, isn’t enough to get the job done then this party needs an enema. We just have too many cowards in blue.

Thank you, Alan Grayson. You’re right. I’ve said it here a thousand times. Real Democrats respect courage and a fight-to-the-death attitude.
You have the qualities we desire in a leader.

I hope to see your name on a ticket one day. Grayson for President 2016 sounds real good to me.
We at TN420 salute you.

Take a look, Dino bitches. This is a real Democrat.

You have to admit, the plan is simple, inexpensive and sure to be accepted by all Republicans and Blue Dogshit Democrats…

From Ben Pershing at The Washington Post:

House Republicans have apparently decided, at least for the moment, not to introduce the resolution they drafted criticizing Grayson for his remarks. A few moments ago, Price took to the House floor during an unrelated debate and waved around a copy of the resolution, but then said he was not going to introduce it. Instead, to give Grayson “a break,” Price said he would just “respectfully request that he apologize to our leader.” Grayson has given no indication that he plans to apologize to anyone…

Republican Congressional Representative from Ohio and minority leader, John Boehner, staunchly supported the the fictitious “Death Panel” accusations leveled against Health Reform.
Now, we find that Boehner chairs the Congressional Republican Death Panel in the House and Senate.
And they have killed again.

Sadly…we find that the lack of a public Health Care Option has again taken a young life.
A beautiful young woman, full of life and hope for her future, has died because she had no health care and could not afford any.

Her name was Kimberly Young. She is a resident of Rep. Boehner’s congressional district in the state of Ohio.
Kimberly contracted Swine Flu, and being unable to pay for treatment and justifiably frightened of the prospect of accumulating massive debt due to the out of control costs of health care, has died.

Another life that could have and should have been saved.

Kimberly Young: Victim of Republican politics
kimberly young

From Think Progress:

A 22-year-old woman from Oxford, Ohio, died from swine flu on Wednesday. Kimberly Young graduated from Miami University in December and continued to live in Oxford, Ohio, within Minority Leader John Boehner’s congressional distrct. Reports now indicate that after initially getting sick, Young put off treatment because she was uninsured:

Young became ill about two weeks ago, but didn’t seek care initially because she didn’t have health insurance and was worried about the cost, according to Brent Mowery, her friend and former roommate. […]

On Tuesday, Sept. 22, Young’s condition suddenly worsened and her roommate drove her to McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford, where she was flown in critical condition to University Hospital in Cincinnati.

“That’s the most tragic part about it. If she had insurance, she would have gone to the doctor,” Mowery said.

How much longer will it be before the supposed “good” people in our gov’t place their collective foot on the neck of the serpent and do what is right for our citizens?

Once again,

Matt: 25 36-40 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me,
36
naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’
37
Then the righteous 16 will answer him and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
38
When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?
39
When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’
40
And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.

Read it. You fake-ass, fair weather “Christians".
Read it! ….And weep. If you have any semblance of a soul at all, weep. If not for others, then for yourselves.

Now Irving Kristol is a Good Neo-Con

Permalink 01:07:42 pm, Categories: Right-Winger Wringer, Subhumanity

The fewer the better. That’s the sad reality of American existence.

Though no one really wants to rejoice in the demise of another, when a threat to our nation and our people departs for the dark, dingy yonder it can, in a strange kinda way, bring relief.
So much like that flu that finally left one’s body, another one of the long time enemies of the American people has bitten the dust.

From the Associated Press:

WASHINGTON — Irving Kristol, the writer, editor and publisher known as the godfather of neoconservatism whose youthful radicalism evolved into a historic rejection of communism, liberalism and the counterculture, died Friday. He was 89.

“His wisdom, wit, good humor and generosity of spirit made him a friend and mentor to several generations of thinkers and public servants,” said the editors of The Weekly Standard in announcing Kristol’s death on its Web site. He died of complications from lung cancer.

Kristol was the husband of critic-historian Gertrude Himmelfarb and father of neoconservative editor and commentator William Kristol, an editor of The Weekly Standard.

A Trotskyist in the 1930s, Kristol would soon sour on socialism, break from liberalism after the rise of the New Left in the 1960s and in the 1970s commit the unthinkable – support the Republican Party, once as “foreign to me as attending a Catholic Mass.”

He was a New York intellectual who left home, first politically, then physically, moving to Washington in 1988. He was a liberal “mugged by reality,” his turn to the right joined by countless others, including such future GOP Cabinet officials as Jeane Kirkpatrick and William Bennett and another neoconservative founder, Norman Podhoretz.

Kristol Sr. now joins his recent fellow departures, Jack Kemp and Robert Novak, on the train to oblivion.
Hey, Bill. Like father, like son?

Rest in pieces, Neo-Con.

Summary of Current Events

Permalink 12:28:44 pm, Categories: Democraps and Republitards

Kinda busy lately. Got a loved one in the hospital, opening a second business location in Florida, new girlfriend…..
I’m actually too old for this shit, but I never did consider that as much of an excuse when other people use it. I guess that means I can’t either.

And aside from all of that, there are still Repiglikans and Democraps who want to ruin our country. So therefor……

1) FCC: Pro Net Neutrality?
I never thought I’d live to see such a waste of money and office space as the Federal Communications Commission actually do the right thing. Being so used to the Reagan/Bush/Clinton/Bush FCC which existed only to dictate what we see and hear, I really have difficulty absorbing FCC chairman Julius Genachowski’s move in support of an internet free of Corporate interference, regulation, and censorship.

Of course, Republicans, who rely on their Corporate Stooges to restrict the flow of free information, are going ape shit.
When a skank like Rep. Kay Hutchinson- Scum, TX stand against something you know it’s the right thing to do.

Cool. That’s all I can say at this point.
:D

2) Max Baucus: Still trying to prevent the people from being well.

The Senate Finance Committee kicked off work this morning on a health care proposal crafted by Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont. Members of the committee have filed 564 amendments to the bill so far but Baucus has said he expects the committee can vote on the measure by the end of the week.

Baucus’ 10-year, $774 billion package would provide coverage to 29 million Americans who lack it now. Among other provisions, the proposal would require people to purchase insurance or face a penalty. Baucus formally unveiled a number of changes to his own bill this morning, including lowering the penalty for people who do not buy coverage.

“Now it’s our turn,” Baucus said in his opening statement. “Through this open and democratic process, I hope that we can improve the bill even further.”

Senator Baucus. What part of Fuck You do you not understand?

“We are far from the finish line,” Sen. Olympia Snowe, R-Maine said. “There are many miles in this journey.”

No, skank, there are many miles on your narrow, wrinkled ass and you need to shut the fuck up.
The only thing that needs to be taken out of the Health Care legislation is the bi-partisanship.

3) Patriot Schmatriot: What was stupid is stupid still.

Congress.org sent out their latest email. Good website, lots of information. But there’s something that disturbed my a little about it.
In the email we are offered a chance to sign a chain mail (or whatever) and let Congress know how we feel about the Patriot Act.

From Roll Call:

Talk Back to Congress

Three provisions of the PATRIOT Act are scheduled to expire at the end of the year. President Barack Obama wants Congress to renew them.

Some Democrats, led by Sen. Russ Feingold of Wisconsin, want to use the renewal as an opportunity to make broader changes in the law because they think it gives the government too much power to snoop.

Proponents of the PATRIOT Act, including many Republicans and the head of the FBI, say the law gives law enforcement much-needed flexibility to track terrorist activity in the U.S.

The elements that are set to expire include one that lets law enforcement attach a court-approved wiretap on an individual as opposed to a particular phone line, another that lowers the court standard of suspicion for allowing law enforcement to collect records in a terrorism investigation and a third that says law enforcement doesn’t have to show a suspected terrorist has a connection to a foreign power to set up surveillance.

House and Senate committees will begin working on the issue this week.

Tell your lawmakers what you think about this week’s topic.

Click here to write a letter in support:
Renew the PATRIOT Act as is

Click here to write a letter in opposition:
Reform the PATRIOT Act

“Renew” or “reform". Hmmmmm,
Wait! I have a better idea! “REPEAL” THE FUCKING ABOMINATION ENTIRELY!
This is where our president and all too many on all sides fall flat on their faces.
The Patriot Act is the single worst piece of shit legislation of our time. Forged in fear and a lack of respect for the fundamental rights of our society, the Patriot Act has accomplished nothing other than to abolish the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution and hand those responsible for the 9/11 attacks upon NYC a claim to victory.

The Bush Administration severely abused the power this “Act” vested in them and though I am far more trusting of the present administration, I don’t trust anyone with this much power.
The Patriot Act made the Bill of Rights contingent on the whims of whoever might be in power.
That doesn’t cut it.
For fuck’s sake. There was never any law that prevented one law enforcement agency from sharing information about criminal activity with another agency. Such an “obstacle” is mythical and was only used as an excuse for the Bush Regime to trample the Constitution.

Solution?
Repeal the Cowardly Act and write new legislation that doesn’t include sacrificing every last aspect of our privacy.

4) Bill Clinton: Still an Asshole.

William Jefferson Clinton, the king of the bended knee. No Democrat has ever bared it’s ass for the Conservatives the way Bill Clinton always did.
Now, giving interviews to Right Wing media, Clinton seems more than happy to show his concern for the Republican party by advising them on how to regroup and make gains against Democrats.

Clinton recently went on NewsMax to be interviewed by his good friend and Right Wing asshat, Chris Ruddy. Clinton attempted to refute statements by the great Jimmy Carter that touch on Obama’s opposition and the aspect of racism.
Clinton, in the traditional family (two-faced, double talking) style, stated (unbelievably I might add) that

“I believe that 100 percent of those who are opposing him now would be against him if he were a white Democrat.”

Pretty dumb, you suckass.

Clinton wrongly assumes, for the benefit of his host, that the Tea Bag Fags etc. are motivated solely by politics.
Really, Bill?
racist
|-|

:??:

Sure, Bill. “100%".
How ’bout this one, Bill…

……Said Bill Clinton today in Columbia, SC: “Jesse Jackson won South Carolina in ‘84 and ‘88. Jackson ran a good campaign. And Obama ran a good campaign here.”

You’re 100% fuckbag, Bill. Lips still planted firmly in Republican ass.

5) Joke of the Week: Tom Delay.

Tom Delay was on one of those dancing shows. Of course I don’t watch much TV, especially sorry shit like that. But I was really, really hoping to read in the news today that Delay, the disgraced Republican EX congressman from Texas, had finally been put on trial for the crimes he was indicted for.

No such luck. But there’s still hope.
If there’s any justice at all he’ll be appearing on Dancing With Bubba one day soon.

Dawn Smith: CIGNA to Murder Again

Permalink 03:34:50 pm, Categories: Right-Winger Wringer, Subhumanity, Legacy of Evil

Once again, the infamous HMO death machine, CIGNA, is poised to kill. The unbelievably inhumane system that CIGNA is a part of is what our President, our Liberal leaders and We The People are trying to save this nation from.

These corporate health care criminals must be stopped. The Public Option will stop them.

In December of 2007, CIGNA Health Care murdered a child by the name of Nataline Sarkyian by refusing the liver transplant every doctor that treated her said she needed to live.
Now, CIGNA seeks to commit the exact same crime again by bureaucratically murdering another young woman by the name of Dawn Smith.

MoveOn alerts us to the tragic reality that is faced by Americans every day as the corporate health care system continues to fail our people.
MoveOn asks that you sign on to a statement in support of Dawn Smith. We ask that you do so as well.

http://pol.moveon.org/dawnsmith/

Stand with Dawn

Dawn Smith is an aspiring playwright in Atlanta. Four years ago, she was diagnosed with a rare, but treatable brain tumor. Her doctors are ready to remove it, but they can’t because CIGNA refuses to pay for the surgery.

Dawn has been fighting CIGNA on her own, but now she’s asking for our help. CIGNA may be able to ignore her, but they won’t be able to ignore millions of us standing together.

Can you sign this statement of support to shine a light on Big Insurance’s abusive tactics, get Dawn the care she needs and make sure they don’t do this to anyone again?

A compiled statement with your individual comment will be presented to H. Edward Hanway, CEO of CIGNA.

CIGNADEATH

This is what the Tea Bag Fags stand for. This is what the likes of Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and every other foul piece of walking, talking shit-for-brains Conservative stands for.
Murdering people by keeping quality health care a luxury only accessible to the wealthy.
When you see vermin protesting the government’s efforts to right these evils by reforming health care, this is what they support.
Killing the innocent so the guilty can profit.

H. Edward Hanway, CEO of CIGNA.
The letter is to you.
What kind of sub-human, soulless vermin are you exactly? Why aren’t you in prison for the murder of Nataline? Why do you want to kill Dawn Smith?
These are just some of the questions I would ask you as I was pounding your fuck face into hamburger. Which, believe me, I would much rather be doing than writing on this blog.

H. EDWARD HANWAY
Ed Hanway, 57, has been a Director of CIGNA since 1999. He has served as the Chairman of the Board of CIGNA Corporation since December 2000, the Chief Executive Officer since January 2000, and President from 1999 until 2008. He has been associated with CIGNA since 1978. His term as a Director of CIGNA expires in 2012.

Soulless scum. These corporate shysters, the Tea Baggers, the fringe fucktards who oppose doing what is right…
Many of them call themselves “Christians". I spit on their fraudulent faith…
Matt:25 36-40 For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me,
36
naked and you clothed me, ill and you cared for me, in prison and you visited me.’
37
Then the righteous 16 will answer him and say, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink?
38
When did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you?
39
When did we see you ill or in prison, and visit you?’
40
And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’

That’s right, read it. Read it, you Godless wretches.
You will not stop us from giving all Americans proper, effective and if necessary, free health care with reliable oversight and strong patient advocacy.

This is for Dawn. We’re with you, baby.

Thx to “litterroom” for his contribution to this post.

The nerve of this Blue Dogshit half wit apparently knows no bounds. But not to worry, nobody on either side of Health Care reform has any interest in his pointless, self-indulgent bill.

Sen. Max Baucus - D Mont.
Just another in a long line of Democratic disgraces. The Chairman of the Senate Finance Committee has for some reason convinced himself that he’s more important than the President of the United States.
This Baucus, in his arrogance, has presumed to draft his own Health Care Legislation.

It reads like HR 3200 but with a few differences.

The Baucus bill mandates that all Americans buy insurance. But offers nothing to those who cannot afford it except that they pay the penalties for not being able to afford it.
It supports “co-ops” which as history teaches us, grow up to become FOR PROFIT entities like the ones we’re trying to save the country from now.

In other words, Max Baucus wrote legislation that changes nothing.

LOL, What an asshole.

Max Baucus is a tool who is bought and paid for by the insurance industry. Hence the anti-American, pro-Corporate legislation….

Securities & Investment $839,650
Lawyers/Law Firms $684,354
Insurance $558,075
Pharmaceuticals/Health Products $507,313
Health Professionals $504,641

Fuck you, Max. That’s about all that need be said.

Baucus Fact Box:

Connections to Jack Abramoff

In December 2005, following the public corruption probe of con man Jack Abramoff, Baucus returned $18,892 in contributions that his office found to be connected to Abramoff. Included in the returned donations was an estimated $1,892 that was never reported for the use of Abramoff’s skybox at a professional sports stadium and concert venue in downtown Washington in 2001.[13]

Economic issues

Baucus has a 74% pro-business voting record as rated by the United States Chamber of Commerce. He twice voted to make filing bankruptcy more difficult for debtors,[14] once in July, 2001 to restrict rules on personal bankruptcy, and a second time in March 2005 to include means-testing & restrictions for bankruptcy filers.

He has frequently visited places of employment within the state and has personally participated in activities that he calls “Work Days.” He has also hosted economic development conferences.

Trade

In March 2005, Baucus voted against repealing tax subsidies that benefit companies that move US jobs offshore. On January 4, 2007, he wrote an editorial in the Wall Street Journal calling on Democrats to renew Bush’s fast-track authority for international trade deals.[15] In response, the Montana State Senate passed a 44-6 resolution “that the U.S. Congress be urged to create a replacement for the outdated fast track system” [16]

Public Option: The Simple Solution

Permalink 02:04:24 pm, Categories: Democraps and Republitards, Obamarama

The beauty of the Public Option lies in it’s simplicity. Any fifth grader could understand it.
As we said before, there are only two kinds of people who oppose the Public Option. The Industry and the Idiot.

Former Labor Secretary Robert Reich explains what a public option for health care coverage really means for working people. Please pass this video on and for God’s sake, please keep hounding your Democratic representatives.

The Public Option is NOT NEGOTIABLE.

Carry on.

Obama's Congressional Address

Permalink 01:35:41 pm, Categories: Obamarama

That was a great speech. But there’s nothing unusual about Barack Obama giving a great speech. Though this particular speech was impressive in many ways if you dig into what was said and examine how it was said. Then you consider the reactions from Congress Critters and you will know what went down.

Barack Obama confirmed, solidly, his support for a “Public Option". It may or may not be labeled “Public Option” in the end, but as long as no American is ever refused treatment, either emergency or preventative, it’s what he promised and he seems to be keeping it.

(Public Option)

The insurance reforms that I’ve already mentioned would do just that. But an
additional step we can take to keep insurance companies honest is by making a
not-for-profit public option available in the insurance exchange. Let me be clear -
it would only be an option for those who don’t have insurance. No one would be
forced to choose it, and it would not impact those of you who already have
insurance. In fact, based on Congressional Budget Office estimates, we believe that
less than 5% of Americans would sign up.

Despite all this, the insurance companies and their allies don’t like this idea.
They argue that these private companies can’t fairly compete with the government.
And they’d be right if taxpayers were subsidizing this public insurance option. But
they won’t be. I have insisted that like any private insurance company, the public
insurance option would have to be self-sufficient and rely on the premiums it
collects. But by avoiding some of the overhead that gets eaten up at private
companies by profits, excessive administrative costs and executive salaries, it
could provide a good deal for consumers. It would also keep pressure on private
insurers to keep their policies affordable and treat their customers better, the
same way public colleges and universities provide additional choice and competition
to students without in any way inhibiting a vibrant system of private colleges and
universities.
It’s worth noting that a strong majority of Americans still favor a public insurance
option of the sort I’ve proposed tonight.

There it is there. Plain and simple.
If one cannot afford the insurance choices provided by this “exchange", the gov’t will pick up the tab.
Simple as that.
It’s by no means HR 676, but it will do for a prelude.

As we said before, there will be a “Public Option". Did you watch the address? Did you see the big smile on the face of Rep. Dennis Kucinich? The world heavyweight champion of the people was pleased with Obama’s clarity and position on supporting the underprivileged.
Did you see the reactions in the audience?
The camera panned to the Progressive Caucus. They were elated. The camera panned to the tiny, upper-Left corner of the room where the Scumbags, Liars and Traitors (Conservative Republicans) were corralled. They were acting like miserable, unruly brats who need a strap across their backs.
If the Scum are bummed, all is well.

When Obama addressed the Scum Section, I saw it. Though he spoke politically about “bipartisanship", I saw that “fuck you idiots” look on Obama’s face as he addressed them. I know that look. That’s the look I give them when I meet them in the streets.

Obama has confirmed his commitment to National Health Care. Now it’s up to Congress where we thankfully hold a major advantage.
Time to get on the phones again, Liberals. Time to write, call, visit…time to be louder than ever before.
Tell Pelosi, tell your local Rep, tell the Progressive Caucus. The Baucus Bill is 100% unacceptable.
Only a true Public Option will solve the problems we have concerning health care in this country. We will settle for nothing less than complete and total victory.
The Public Option is NOT NEGOTIABLE.

The Right is reeling, time to move in for the kill.

Noteworthy extras? Of course there were.
One suck-ass piece of shit from the great state of South Carolina by the name of Rep. Joe Wilson-R.
When Obama stated the fact that the benefit of HR 3200 will not be available to Illegals in the country, Wilson, obviously too lazy and/or stupid to read the legislation, stood up and shouted “you lie!” at the President.
Now, that would be fine if Obama was lying. But he wasn’t. Wilson, evidently little more than an embodiment of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh, gave us a ring side view of the biggest verbal Face-Plant in the history of Congress. And he will pay dearly for it.

From the AP:

Later, Wilson was contrite.

“This evening I let my emotions get the best of me,” he said in a statement. “While I disagree with the president’s statement, my comments were inappropriate and regrettable. I extend sincere apologies to the president for this lack of civility.”
He then tried to call Obama to apologize personally, but ended up talking with White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel instead, Wilson’s office said.

LOL. Fuck you. You sub-human piece of shit. Just, fuck you. We will ram the Public Option down your throat and out your gaping ass. Tell your girlfriend, Glenn Becky, that you just couldn’t get the job done.
Joe Bitch Wilson

Get used to it, Righty. We rule this roost and that’s all there is to it.

Well, Righty. This is what happens when you assault a Liberal. You people have to understand that without your AK47 we will whoop your ass if you fuck with us. We might even give you the finger…uh, oops….you might give us the finger I mean.

Oh, by the way. The anti-health care, Right Wing zealot attacker with the munched digit made it to the hospital to have the finger re-attached.

Man’s Finger Bitten Off in Scuffle at Health Care Rally

KTLA News

9:16 AM PDT, September 3, 2009
Blood found near the scene of the rally.

THOUSAND OAKS – A 65-year-old man had his finger bitten off Wednesday evening at a health care rally in Thousand Oaks, according to the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department.

Sheriff’s investigators were called to Hillcrest and Lynn Road at 7:26 p.m.

About 100 protesters sponsored by MoveOn.org were having a rally supporting health care reform. A group of anti-health care reform protesters formed across the street.

A witness from the scene says a man was walking through the anti-reform group to get to the pro-reform side when he got into an altercation with the 65-year-old, who opposes health care reform.

The 65-year-old was apparently aggressive and hit the other man, who then retaliated by biting off his attacker’s pinky, according to Karoli from DrumsnWhistles, who attended the rally.

The man took his finger and walked to Los Robles hospital for treatment. Doctors reattached the finger, which was said to have been severed in half. He has since been released, according to a hospital spokesperson.

Neither man has been identified.

Ventura County Sheriff’s Capt. Frank O’Hanlon says the man had Medicare.

Sheriff’s officials are investigating the incident.

Bob McDonnell: Chickens Come Home to Roost

Permalink 02:42:44 pm, Categories: Bristol Local.

Bob McDonnell, the Republican nominee for Governor of Virginia, had to have a dirty past. He had to. All Republican politicians do.
And now, thanx to Amy Gardener at The Washington Post, we know what it is.

And it comes as no surprise whatsoever.

It has been discovered that McDonnell wrote a Master’s Thesis, at age 34, for an Evangelical school in Virginia Beach, VA, that contained some language that could only be described as Un-American to it’s very core.
It seems that Mr. McDonnell, at age 34, felt that

“working women were detrimental to the family” and that “government should penalize unmarried “cohabitators, homosexuals or fornicators,". That divorce should be further restricted, and that family is “God-ordained government” untouchable by civil law.”

Creigh Deeds: American/Bob McDonnell: Taliban

Ahhhh, I love it when the beast unwittingly shows it’s devilish face for all to see. “There is no lie that will not be uncovered". The words are true and span the ages.
What better disguise for Satan than that of a servant of God?
This is the Evangelical mindset. McDonnell is now exposed for the fraudulent “person of faith” he’s been found to be.

In a stammering attempt at damage control, McDonnell told the media that “the idea that a 20-year-old academic exercise somehow represents my 18-year career in public service is just a flat misrepresentation,”

He was 34 when this was written. It contained 96 well developed pages that he considered an “action plan for the religious right". Or Taliban, if you will.
I don’t think the “I was young and stupid” argument is going to fly here, Bobby boy. 34 is a seasoned adult anywhere in the world.
My views have not changed significantly in the last twenty years. There’s no reason to believe his did.
Either McDonnell was lying to the church, or he’s lying to us now.
Either way, he’s a liar. And his history of supported legislation in Virginia supports his “thesis” handily.

Take another look, Virginia. McDonnell is exposed for the America hating Evanganoid whack-job we all knew he was deep down inside.

Deeds isn’t perfect. But at least he’s not Taliban.

The rest at The Washington Post:

Va. GOP Candidate Wrote on Women, Marriage and Gays

By Amy Gardner
Washington Post Staff Writer
Sunday, August 30, 2009

At age 34, two years before his first election and two decades before he would run for governor of Virginia, Robert F. McDonnell submitted a master’s thesis to the evangelical school he was attending in Virginia Beach in which he described working women and feminists as “detrimental” to the family. He said government policy should favor married couples over “cohabitators, homosexuals or fornicators.” He described as “illogical” a 1972 Supreme Court decision legalizing the use of contraception by unmarried couples.

The 93-page document, which is publicly available at the Regent University library, culminates with a 15-point action plan that McDonnell said the Republican Party should follow to protect American families – a vision that he started to put into action soon after he was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates.

During his 14 years in the General Assembly, McDonnell pursued at least 10 of the policy goals he laid out in that research paper, including abortion restrictions, covenant marriage, school vouchers and tax policies to favor his view of the traditional family. In 2001, he voted against a resolution in support of ending wage discrimination between men and women.
