James O’Keefe is a scum bag and deserves what he gets. But the more we find out about Stan Dai, the more it looks like ol’ Stanley is the axis of evil here.

Dai has quite a resume’. Reads like a report card for the Hitler Youth.
As Justin Elliott of TPM reports, Dai is neck deep in the Radical Right’s cesspool of insanity, for such a young man. If in fact he is “24″ as is said.
An effective activist for the lunatic fringe in college, Dai has shown an amazingly honed talent for organizing and speaking out for evil…

Stan Dai, the accused Landrieu phone tamperer who penned an anti-feminist parody called The Penis Monologues as a conservative activist in college, went on to work for a program designed to get women and minority students interested in espionage work.

Mark Hosenball of NEWSWEEK, who has followed the story with zeal, reports some very interesting revelations concerning Dai and his sordid background…

Ann Pauley, vice president of Trinity Washington University, acknowledged to NEWSWEEK that a key objective of the “Intelligence Community Center of Academic Excellence” at her school was to expose female and minority students to the kind of work spy agencies do and potentially interest them in becoming intelligence officers. Dai was associate director of the program between August 2007 and October 2008….

….As we reported Wednesday, the introduction-to-intelligence program that Dai helped to run was entirely funded by a grant from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, otherwise known as the intelligence czar’s office.

The Director of National Intelligence, at that time, was none other than Admiral Mike McConnell. McConnell succeeded fellow NeoCon, John Negroponte, as DNI in Feb of 2007. In August 2007 Dai became involved in “collegiate spy recruiting".
McConnell has a degree from George Washington University. Dai is a student there.
Oddly enough…McConnell was also a tremendous fan and enabler of the Protect America Act. The legislation pushed by Bush/Cheney that enabled random spying on American citizens. Info on Booz, Allen, and Hamilton will tell you more about McConnell.

Seems these people have a hard-on for tapping phones.
One thing is clear. The Bush era Fascist movement is alive and well and until this botched attempt to undermine a Democratic Senator’s office, flying well below the radar.

John Michael McConnell was a Booz Allen Senior Vice President (1996-2006).

Dov Zakheim was the Booz Allen Vice President.

Zakheim allegedly co-authored Rebuilding America’s Defenses, Strategy, Forces and Resources for a New Century, the Project for the New American Century’s (PNAC) position paper (published September 2000) which advocated the “necessity” of a Pearl-Harbor-like incident to mobilize the country into war with the Middle East. Since May 20, 2008, PNAC’s website is not accessible and that 90-page PDF document is no longer available from that source.

The PNAC or Project for the New American Century we know well. They are now posing under the name Foundation for Defense of Democracies. An organization that Stan Dai is an undergraduate fellow of.
The FDD are no strangers to assailing Democratic Senators.

Now we find that Scott Brownie’s wifey did a nasty little part in an old, crappy, 1984 muzack video.

All that lewd behavior back in the ’80s….I wonder if Mr. and Mrs. Brownie ever had a hair test to see how much coke they snorted back then. I’ll give 1000 Colonies for the daughters, but that’s it.

2) Harold Ford Jr. R - Wall Street

Anyone who has read this blog for any length of time knows that we have been Ford Jr’s primary nemesis in Tennessee. He has dodged us, ran from us, avoided us…all the standard action words apply. Though the act of sheer cowardice HFJ displayed at TPM is still one of the foremost efforts in chicken shit I have ever witnessed.
Harold Ford Jr. is not a democrat and never has been one. He is still the most two-faced, candy-assed punk this blogger has ever seen in Democratic politics.
Now, he want’s to take his lie machine to NY and campaign for Senate.
There are plenty of New Yorkers that are stupid enough to support him, but fortunately rather few demographically speaking.
Ford’s efforts will fail and he will once again be just another insignificant DLC punk who could have been a contender if he had any honor at all.

3) Saints Come Marching In:

Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints.
I’ve been a fan since I was eight (if you don’t believe me I have 30+ year old Saints hats that are too moldy to touch. I’ll be glad to post pics). Never had much hope of Benson being smart enough to spend money on a good crew (much like his predecessor John Mecom). Why should he have? NO fans are so dedicated they flock to the games with bag-on-head and Benson gets his money without producing.
This is truly NFL history in the making. Not only are the Saints in the Super bowl, but Tom Benson just might become a popular figure in NOLA for once.

4) Tim Tebow- Fuckus on the Family

Poor kid, all that talent and still an idiot. I hate abortion. I also hate the death penalty and war, so unlike most on both sides of the equation, my ducks are in a row.
Trouble is, there are times that all three are unavoidable.
Tebow has a right to purchase air time just like any other American. And the right to state his views.
It’s one thing to deplore killing, but to join with a Fascist Pig organization like Focus on the Family and a scumbag pile of lying, fake Christian filth like James Dobson is all it takes to realize that Tebow will be joining Mike Vick and other famous assholes of modern sport in marring his career forever.
I hope it’s just his youthful ignorance that is preventing him from realizing that James Dobson and FotF are not just about anti-abortion. They are also pro war and pro death penalty which makes them hypocrites of the first order. They are anti-birth control and anti-sex education. They symbolize everything that is foul and disgusting by using the name of Christ to achieve personal gain and power.

It’s also sad that pro-choice groups are giving this 30 seconds of idiocy the brightest spotlight possible. It makes them sound anti-free speech and gives political credibility to a commercial that would otherwise go mostly unnoticed.

5) High Speed Rail Cannot Prevent Fail:

It is said that after the President gives his State of the Fucking Disaster speech tonight that he will introduce plans for High Speed Rail development.
That’s great! HSR is a truly wonderful, productive thing. Just ask the French, Japanese, Chinese and everyone else who has what we don’t.
But that will not be enough for the Democrats to win back their base. If Dems and Obama want us energized again PASS THE FUCKING HEALTH REFORM LEGISLATION WITH 51 VOTES AND A PUBLIC OPTION!
Nothing else they do will bring us home.

Conservative activist and wannabe filmmaker is arrested trying to tamper with the phone system at the offices of Senator Mary Landrieu.

Why doesn’t this surprise me?…….

James O’Keefe, the producer of the fake “ACORN Revealed” film which falsely depicted ACORN members violating the law, has been arrested, along with Robert Flannagan, the son of acting U.S. Attorney Bill Flanagan, by the US Marshall’s Service in a vain attempt to bug the phones of a US Senator.

From The Houston Chronicle:

NEW ORLEANS — A conservative activist who has caused problems for the community organizing group ACORN and the son of a federal prosecutor were among four people arrested and accused of trying to interfere with phones at U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu’s office.

Activist James O’Keefe, 25, was already in Landrieu’s New Orleans office Monday when Robert Flanagan and Joseph Basel, both 24, showed up claiming to be telephone repairmen, according to U.S. Attorney Jim Letten’s office. Letten says O’Keefe recorded the two with his cell phone.

Once inside the reception area, Flanagan, the son of acting U.S. Attorney Bill Flanagan in Shreveport, and Basel asked for access to the main phone at the reception desk.

After handling the phone, “Flanagan and Basel next requested access to the telephone closet because they needed to perform work on the main telephone system,” Letten’s office said.

The men were directed to another office in the building, they’re accused of again misrepresenting themselves as telephone repairmen.

They were arrested later by the U.S. Marshal’s Service. Details of the arrest were not available. A fourth man, Stan Dai, 24, was also arrested, but Letten’s office said only that he assisted the others in planning, coordinating and preparing the operation.

Federal officials did not say why the men wanted to interfere with Landrieu’s phones or whether they were successful. Landrieu, a moderate Democrat, declined comment Tuesday. She has been in the news recently because she negotiated an increase in Medicaid funds for her state before announcing her support for Senate health care legislation.

An FBI criminal complaint charging the men was unsealed Tuesday.

Wannabe black-op guy James O’Queef

…….Among those arrested was 25-year-old James O’Keefe, the conservative filmmaker, along with Joseph Basel, Robert Flanagan and Stan Dai, all 24. They were charged with entering federal property under false pretenses and attempting to gain access to the Democrat’s office by posing as telephone repairmen, according to a copy of an FBI affidavit unsealed Tuesday.

The complaint said that Flanagan and Basel each entered the premises, wearing light green fluorescent vests, denim paints and blue work shirts, tool belts and hard hats. They informed a member of Landrieu’s staff that they were telephone repairmen and requested access to the main telephone at the reception desk.

At that point, the two men allegedly attempted to manipulate telephones and accessed the telephone closet, saying they needed to work on the entire system. The men, who said they left their credentials in their vehicles, were arrested by the U.S. Marshal’s Service soon afterward.

According to the FBI, the four men could each face up to 10 years and a fine of $250,000 if they are convicted.

Of course, it would be wonderful to see O’Queef go to prison, but he’s not man enough to do the time. So…..We wait and see who put him up to it (who he rats on) and who funds his illegal activities.

The message could not possibly be more clear. There is no shroud of secrecy, no subliminal meanings. There is only one way out of this mess for the Democratic Party.

There are two voices ringing loudly in Democratic ears right now. One, Obama’s enemies, say that Democrats are losing because “the Right Wing is surging and America opposes health reform". The other, Obama’s base, says Democrats are losing because “we won’t vote for them unless they remain dedicated populists and give us Health Reform with a Public Option type of mechanism".

Which voice is true? The numbers support the latter. Overwhelmingly.

The only question that remains is: Will Obama and the Democrats listen to the right voice? The one that voted for them. The one that donated to them. The one that has the power to bring it all crashing down around them.

The Massachusetts Obama voters who voted for Brownie are still assholes, but I do fully understand where they’re coming from. And I agree with the sentiment 100%. That particular election was the wrong one to use, but the message is out and it is abundantly clear.
You promised us meaningful “change” and have done nothing to deliver it.

It really is that simple. President Obama has, as of late, allowed the business-as-usual aspect of the beltway to consume him when he should have been the one consuming it.

Law of the jungle, Mr. President: eat or be eaten.

Law of survival: Adapt, migrate or perish.

Adapting is easy. Perform the will of your base and survive. If not, might as well just resign. Failure brings the end.

51 votes is all we need. All that is needed to pass Health Reform with the Public Option in the exchange. That is what the vast majority of the people in the country want. Get it done, Sir. Yeah, we noticed that you declared war on Wall Street. Replacing Geithner with former Fed Chairman Paul Volcker is a good idea. Maybe you have gotten the message after all. And since the last post….what happened? We are witnessing the fall of a President that showed genuine promise once. The situation is now more dire than most people will realize.

President Obama and the Democratic majority are failing. Failing miserably. Not just in action and decision, but in principal as well.
The Right Wing is proclaiming that Massachusetts is a “referendum” on health care. “The people” saying they don’t want it. That is a lie, but what’s worse is that Democrats are buying it.
Again, the obvious is clear. Low pro-Obama voter turnout since the ‘08 elections is a direct result of the Liberal base of the Democratic party abandoning the President and his broken version of our agenda at the polls.
Why is most obvious. As we read in the previous post, Liberals vote for principals, not characters. We did not vote for Barack Obama, we voted for our principals and chose him to be the one to implement them. Thus far, he has failed.
A few smaller issues have been addressed, but the meat of the agenda has been forsaken.

The writing on wall has been there for the entirety. All the major progressive blogs, the rest of us, the big money organizations like MoveOn, PDA etc…Did the Democrats really think we wouldn’t dare teach them this lesson?
Wake up and smell the roses, morons….

57% of Obama voters who stayed home on Tuesday support the Senate health care bill or think it doesn’t go far enough.

And of Obama voters who cast a ballot for Brown, nearly half (49%) support the Senate bill or think it does not go far enough. Just 11% think it goes too far.

The numbers are the same as they’ve always been. Which leads us to believe that Obama may be getting some very, very bad advice from those close to him. Centrist filth such as David Axelrod, Rahm Emanuel etc. have failed miserably to keep the president informed of the truth. The truth being that the Left runs this political party and without us, Democrats lose. That fact is now as plain as day. And it seems they still don’t see it.
Of course, Barack Obama should be able to see these truths without the help of his incompetent, Clintonista staff. He knows who came out for him in ‘08. It’s on him too.

President Obama and the Democrats have only one chance of remaining in power in the next election cycle. Drive the health legislation through with 51 votes and the Public Option intact, like they should have done months ago, and start acting like genuine populists. Otherwise it over.
The Liberal base will no longer tolerate being stabbed in the back. We’ve had it.
Stand with us or fall, Mr. President. You have no other option.

Again, and hopefully for the last time…. Understand the obvious, the only reason Democrats have suffered any losses, especially Massachusetts, is that Obama has lied about the Public Option and almost completely turned his back on those who fought so hard to get him elected. Liberals. Not Republican filth, not lazy-ass “unaffiliated” types, not the Centrists who love the smell of Right Wing ass. Liberals.
Light voter turnout since ‘08 should be the only red flag the Democrats need to see. But it seems they’re just as blind and self serving as Republicans.
Had they simply kept their promises and exercised the power Howard Dean handed them none of this drama would have emerged. The perils of unnecessary pragmatism.
It would be nice if the Dems could have seen the writing on the wall and woke up. The warnings and signs were there. The Left doesn’t vote for liars and cowards. Now they can count on us staying home in ‘10 too unless they pull their empty heads out of their asses and do what it takes to get the base back on board. The chances of that are slim, but if they don’t, Obama joins Bush in Failville after the ‘12 elections.
You see, the Left never quits. If our elected fail in their responsibilities, we will simply find other candidates and start again.
Howard Dean 2012 sounds pretty damn good right now.

Again we demanded a Public Option, again you turned away, we lost Virginia. Today, we still demand it, you still have your back to us, and we are about to lose the most solid Senate seat in Democratic politics.

What exactly is it that you do not understand, sir?

I have told you, and told you, and told you and told you….Now, I must tell you once again.

My advice to you, sir, is to get that Public Option back in the bill any fucking way you can. Because we, as I have written you so many times, likely will not be there if we don’t get what you promised us concerning Health Reform. Not now, not in 2010, not in ‘12. Perhaps not ever again.

Dismiss these warnings and signs if you will. But understand that you do so at the peril of the future of the Democratic party. Because without the Liberals who carried you to power, you’re nothing. All of you, nothing.

This is the Conservative. This is the Republican.
We saw this sickness while George Bush was president. We saw it in the Republican majority when they had control.
This is yet another stark reminder of just why the American people kicked Conservatives to the curb in 2006 and 2008.

I’ve found it mildly amusing how Republicans and their media have all of a sudden become the champions of all blacks and attack Harry Reid for stating the truth. Even though the vast majority of prominent blacks have little to no problem with what Reid said…

Harry Reid said “Obama is light skinned and has no Negro dialect". Every letter, true.
It’s always precarious when anyone of any race says anything about anyone of any other race. That’s why we need to be more open about racial discussions. AG Holder said we were cowards for not talking about race. He wasn’t just referring to whites. He also meant blacks and any other minority who often can’t seem to deal with the topic of race without getting bent out of shape.
We all have to confront this issue. This is not an us-and-them issue. It’s an “us” issue.

Reid, in fact, paid great complement to Barack Obama. It’s sad that an African American with very dark pigmentation would have more trouble getting elected in America than one with lighter skin, but it is true.
Sad but true.
You can also be guaranteed that even I would never vote for anyone, black or white, that walked out and spoke like Kanye West or some similar no-English-respecting idiot.
Obama’s mastery of the English language only makes me respect him. I know what he means when he speaks (even if he speaks out of both sides of his face sometimes).

I have long felt bad for members of the African American race when they have to be labeled with “Negro dialect” due to the stupidity of a few who don’t care what they sound like. I interact with blacks every day here. None of them sound like the jive mumbo jumbo we hear from some thug type on TV.
Though I do have a few white customers that do.

Reid could have used a little more discretion when speaking, but he clearly meant no harm. In fact, the opposite.

The simple difference is that Democrats, especially Liberals, have the courage to come out of the closet on race and have the “Racial” discourse needed to break down barriers.
Republicans, especially conservanoids, prefer the “Racist” discourse that sades their hatred and fear of minority races. They’re also too stupid to know the difference between “Racial” and “Racist". Wasn’t it a FORMER Republican Senator named Allen that liked to call brown people “macacas"?

He claims a “double standard” with Obama etc not being as offended at Reid’s words as they might have been at, say….the words of his fellow moron, Don Imus.

Case in point, the Repigs, in their grotesque ignorance, either can’t tell the difference between calling a President a good speaker and calling some kids fuzzy haired whores, or this is the lamest political ploy they’ve tried yet.

1) Invasion of the Body Scanners:

Some twit runs airport security to kiss his sweetie goodbye. No problem there. The real issue is whether or not this clown was really stupid enough to do that under the circumstances, or if there is something else behind his actions.

Indeed, who put the guy up to it and how much was he paid? Don’t take your eyes off of these instances because it has become clear that Michael Chertoff, Israel loyalist and former failed DHS overlord, has a large stake in the Full Body Scanner business.

2) The Truly “Lost":

The fact that so many people decided that they care more about some TV show aimed at the two-digit IQs amongst us than they do about the state of our nation should be a stark reminder of the level of pure dumb-fuck that we are forced to reckon with as Americans.

3) Not Guilty of What I’m Guilty Of:

I just find it amusing that a Satanic scumbag panty-bomber who is now world famous for barbecuing his genitalia in a failed attempt to kill some people actually has a lawyer dumb enough to enter a “stand silent” plea. The Judge entered the Not Guilty plea since the lawyer was obviously too stupid to do it himself. Or maybe because it was close to lunch time.
Who cares? This sub-human is going down for life.

4) Systemic Unemployment?

There I was, sitting at the bar at the Bristol country club. I don’t frequent the place, I just like to listen to the disgruntled rich guys complaining about paying taxes they normally get out of paying when Repigs are in charge. One exec from a local company that laid off hundreds of people and has yet to hire them back made the statement “we can operate on a skeleton crew for at least four years and we will if we have to".

Just makes me wonder how many Republican owned and operated companies are intentionally avoiding hiring just to keep the jobless numbers up for political reasons.

Whether you work for gov’t or contract by the job, you folks have done wonderful work. I can’t remember the last time we had this much snow. Especially the eight inches we had a couple of weeks ago. Fifteen, maybe twenty years? 1995 had a good snow but still not this thick.
You were prepared and hit the streets quickly making them safe (for non-idiots) and navigable.

Rudy Giuliani, or however the fuck you spell it, has set an entirely new standard when it comes to cowardice and sheer stupidity. Thank God this sub-human piece of shit never became President…

Giuliani is best known for three things. Failed Mayor of New York City, crossdressing incestuous pervert, and miserably failed Republican Presidential candidate.
Now, we have something else to associate Rudy with. 9/11 Denial.

Recently spewing his usual confused bullshit on Good Morning America, Googliani stated:

“What he [Obama] should be doing is following the right things that Bush did – one of the right things he did was treat this as a war on terror. We had no domestic attacks under Bush. We’ve had one under Obama,” Giuliani said. “Number two, he should correct the things that Bush didn’t do right. Sending people to Yemen was wrong, not getting this whole intelligence thing corrected.”

Ms. 9/11 denier Googliani

Eight months into the most ridiculous excuse for a Presidential era, the US suffered the single worst “domestic terrorist attack” in our history.
Makes plenty of sense that Rudy Googliani would put 9/11 so far out of his mind as to actually forget that it ever happened. After all, during that great tragedy he hid in his office 90% of the time and came out for photo ops under heavy guard for the other 10.
If I was that much of a coward, I’d probably want to forget about it too.
Of course he also forgot about Reid the “Shoe Bomber” attempt, the Anthrax attacks on gov’t officials, the “Beltway Sniper” and numerous terrorist acts perpetrated by Americans loyal to Bush such as the Knoxville Tennessee church massacre and the murder of abortion Dr. George Tiller inside his church.

Googliana, in his desire to blame Obama for anything and everything George Bush and the Republican Majority are responsible for, succeeds only in making himself out to be an even bigger liar, coward and idiot than we already knew he was.
Sad. Very, very sad little man.

One thing must not be forgotten. Most of the “terrorist” attacks this nation has suffered in the past, present and the ones we will surely suffer in the future are a direct result of the abominable policies of the Conservatives in this country, which includes our support for an illegitimate, terrorist state called Israel. That problem, unfortunately, is a truly bi-partisan one. Conservatives of both parties fail in this aspect.

Blame Obama all you like, morons. The American people know who did what and when. That’s why we made the Republican party a thing of the past in the last two elections.

I did not know her. I wish I did, but the fact that she was the love and life of our good friend Steve Steffens, aka Left Wing Cracker, the great Liberal blogger from Memphis Tennessee, is enough to sadden what’s left of my heart. If a person like Steve loved Lauren the way he does, she is among the best humanity has to offer.
The testimony of those who were fortunate enough to know her tells the tale.

Sadness does not come easy after the life I’ve led. I’ve basically been numb for thirty years.
You see, it kills me to see the best pass on while the worst seem to thrive. But that is the reality of our existence.
Lauren Hesse has left a legacy of love behind. There is no greater gift. A love and a life truly worthy of celebration.

Congressional Democrats have indicated that they may side step Republicans completely in the final push for new health care legislation. That would be both wise and appropriate.

But if you’re willing to completely shaft the Republicans, you should be equally as willing to shaft the Conservative Democraps that serve them.

The Republicans are not the real culprits when it comes to watering down what used to be respectable legislation. The blame rests solely on the heads of Blue Dog Democraps and one son-of-a-whore Indi named Lieberman. Republicans haven’t the power to obstruct this legislation. Only the Conservative Blue Dogshits that crawl before the Right Wing’s cloven hoofs have that power.
So why bypass Republicans and not their Democrapic minions?

Democrats my well avoid a Conference Committee and use procedures (ping pong) to make it difficult for Republicans to throw temper tantrums and gain headlines, which is about all they can do. But if the Democratic leadership, especially the White House, doesn’t hold Blue Dogshits to the same punishment Senate passage will still require 60 votes.
Now personally, I think Lieberman and the Blue Dogshits are bluffing. I really don’t think they want to be the few that prevented Americans from getting their will in the end. But you never know. Money is their first priority after all.
The House should re-install the Public Option (by name) and call the bluff. They could still force it as a budget item and reconcile with 51 votes. But they don’t seem to have their priorities right when it comes to bypassing obstructionists. They focus on powerless Republicans when the enemy is a handful of greed-driven Centrists in our own party.

Of course, the “Public Option” doesn’t have to be called the “Public Option". The principals of the option are what’s important, not the name.
A mandate to purchase insurance is pure Fascism if there’s no gov’t program to fall back on if one cannot afford to meet the mandate. Insurance companies must have their tails tied together, very tightly, if we the people are to have any kind of a “choice” in the coverage we’re forced to buy.
And of course, every single American citizen must be afforded coverage.
The present bill falls far short of that goal.
There is talk, from Pelosi, that removing the insurance industry’s antitrust exemption is a possibility. That would cover one aspect of what the PO was intended to do.

Those are the reasons the “Public Option” was included in the first place. To give that up leaves us with a joke of a bill and total Obama/Democratic failure regardless of any of the legislation’s helpful assets.
Incomplete reform is failed reform. Any way you fucking slice it.

All in all this comes down to President Obama. So far he has failed to lead the health reform movement. I do hope he finds his intestinal fortitude before it’s too late.
He has allowed Centrist scum to turn this legislation into Fool’s Gold. He had better man up. Because the chances of the Democratic party being abandoned by a significant portion of their base is very real and very close at hand.

And of course, Obama himself must not be allowed to get away with any Bushisms. Meaning lying through his teeth to our faces, then doing the exact opposite as though that was what he intended in the first place.

You said it, Mr. President. Whatchya gonna do? Gonna be a man and bring the change you promised? Or are you going to be the black George Bush and just talk shit that sounds good for the benefit of the moment?
You said it. And believe it or not, we expect you to back up your mouth. If not, don’t expect me to leave the warm confines of my home in November of 2010, or 2012 for that matter, and stand in line to vote for failure and lies.
