“Tax Deal Could Help Small Businesses Create Jobs”

This week, President Obama and Republican negotiators announced a deal that will extend all of the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts for two years while also extending unemployment benefits for 13 months, preventing the estate tax from being fully reinstated and cutting payroll taxes for a year. As I’ve been saying all year, no American should face a tax increase in this economic environment. Our top priority must be preventing a tax hike on any American.

What Rep. Roe fails to mention in his first paragraph is that he and his party (Teabagger/Republifuck) held the unemployed, working American’s benefits hostage, threatening any and all legislation, unless the super-rich Pig-Fucks they serve got their undeserved tax break.
Cutting payroll taxes is the single dumbest thing that could have happened. Payroll Taxes are how we fund Social Security. As we all know, Rep. Roe and his fellow Republifucks hate extending benefits to the elderly. Now, they have found a way to cut SS which is Rep. Roe’s intention. Republicans know that the Payroll Tax cuts will cut SS by one third this very year. They will then whine “Tax Hike” if anyone tries to save SS from this cruel fate.

These Wall Street scumbags want SS privatized. That’s what Phil Roe wants…Your money in Wall Street’s hands.

MORE LIES:

Since I came to Congress, my main focus has been on creating jobs and getting people in East Tennessee back to work. The threat of these job-killing tax hikes is the single greatest cause for concern among both working families and employers, who might have to shed jobs with increased costs.

Phil Roe has not created even one job in this state though he’s now in his second term as TN-1 Rep. Not one job. I challenge anyone to prove otherwise including Roe himself.

These tax cuts will not save jobs as Phil Roe lies about. Tax breaks for the rich are the very least effective manner of creating jobs. They will not help the economy.
The CBO (Congressional Budget Office) has determined that extending the Bush Tax Cuts would lower unemployment no more than 0.1% to 0.3% over the next year. The cost of the tax extension will be $900 billion over the next five years.
Fiscally responsible? Dr. Roe is a liar’s liar. No fiscally responsible person would condone such wasteful, irrational spending.

EVEN MORE LIES:

This deal will help small businesses create jobs. When Republicans take control of Congress January 1st, our first priority must be to stop the job-killing spending binge in Washington, and provide certainty for private-sector job creators by permanently eliminating the threat of tax hikes, as promised in the Pledge to America.

“Spending binge"? This dipshit has the nerve to accuse “Washington” of a spending binge while he tries to convince us that adding 900 Billion to the deficit is ok? Evidently Roe sees the recipients of his mail-outs as idiots. If they believe this bullshit, I guess that’s one thing he’s right about.

This “deal” will NOT help small business create jobs. This is where Roe does a first class face-plant. I am small business, Roe. captainkona owns a “small business". There is nothing in this “deal” that motivates me to hire and I’m not the only one.
This is an outright LIE on behalf of Congressman Roe.

AND IT DOESN’T STOP THERE:

Additionally, there is an Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT) patch to ensure that an additional 21 million households will not be hit with a stealth tax increase. While permanent repeal without offsetting is the best option, I am pleased something will be done to protect taxpayers immediately, even if it is just a temporary solution.

Bullshit in the first degree.

For 1 in every three workers this “deal” is a tax increase.

50 million working Americans, including all workers making less than $20,000 per year and millions of federal, state, and city workers will pay more in taxes than they have been.
This is a “deal” alright, a raw one for the hardest working poverty-line Americans.
Another despicable Phil Roe lie.

LIKE THE SANDS OF THE DESERT, SO ARE THE LIES OF PHIL ROE:

Included in the framework is estate tax relief, providing a $5 million exemption and a top rate of 35% for 2011 and 2012. This is especially important for family farms because this provision will prevent the estate tax from snapping back to a $1 million exemption and 55% top rate.

Double Dip welfare for the wealthy.

A tax cut for the richest 2%, which will drive the deficit up 700 Billion by it’s self. Then, spoiled little rich brat tax break called “estate tax breaks".
This benefits smarmy little never-worked, never-served punks who have it all given to them but they don’t have to pay their fair share like the working, self-made American does.

It’s spoiled brat welfare, nothing less. This country needs all of us to contribute to stay strong. There is no strength in taxing those who make the least and giving welfare to those who inherit the most. This country has serious problems and people like Congressman Roe and his like-minded dimwits are the root of them.

The Republican Congressional Representative from Tennessee District 1, David Phil Roe is a liar. He’s not mistaken, he did not mis-speak. He is a liar and I will debate him in public anytime he thinks he’s man enough to accept the challenge.

A liar, and I can prove it over and over and over again.

Well, looks like that NAFTA bullshit has finally worked for Bill Clinton. He gets to be our new surrogate president while Obama’s guts continue to dry up…

I guess a two-faced punk is a hero, to another two-faced punk. Not only did Barack Obama just hand the office over to the most prolific backstabber in Democratic history, he then proceeded to walk out of the press conference and leave co-president Clinton to do all the lying…er…talking.

Then, an even more extraordinary sight: President Obama leaving, and former President Bill Clinton staying behind to hold court with reporters for 20 more minutes.

“I’m going to let him speak very briefly,” Obama said. “And then I’ve actually got to go over and do just one more Christmas party. So he may decide he wants to take some questions, but I want to make sure that you guys hear it from him directly.”

Replied Clinton: “Thank you very much, Mr. President. First of all, I feel awkward being here, and now you’re going to leave me all by myself.”

Obama left the press room right after the 11 minute mark; the news conference lasts 32:09.

Actually, I prefer to lend my ears to Noam Chomsky instead of those two Republican-Lite chumps. The only thing worse than a chickenshit President is two chickenshit Presidents…

A Call for Active Support of Protest to Michael Moore, Norman Solomon, Katrina van den Heuvel, Michael Eric Dyson, Barbara Ehrenreich, Thomas Frank, Tom Hayden, Bill Fletcher Jr., Jesse Jackson Jr., and other high profile progressive supporters of the Obama electoral campaign.

With the Obama administration beginning its third year, it is by now painfully obvious that the predictions of even the most sober Obama supporters were overly optimistic. Rather than an ally, the administration has shown itself to be an implacable enemy of reform.

It has advanced repeated assaults on the New Deal safety net (including the previously sacrosanct Social Security trust fund), jettisoned any hope for substantive health care reform, attacked civil rights and environmental protections, and expanded a massive bailout further enriching an already bloated financial services and insurance industry. It has continued the occupation of Iraq and and expanded the war in Afghanistan as well as our government’s covert and overt wars in South Asia and across the globe.

Along the way, the Obama administration, which referred to us on the left as “f***ing retarded” individuals who required “drug testing,” stepped up the prosecution of federal war crime whistleblowers, and unleashed the FBI on those protesting the escalation of an insane war.

Obama’s recent announcement of a federal worker pay freeze is cynical, mean-spirited “deficit-reduction theater”. Slashing Bush’s plutocratic tax cuts would have made a much more significant contribution to deficit reduction but all signs are that the “progressive” president will cave to Republican demands for the preservation of George W. Bush’s tax breaks for the wealthy Few. Instead Obama’s tax cut plan would raise taxes for the poorest people in our country.

The election of Obama has not galvanized protest movements. To the contrary, it has depressed and undermined them, with the White House playing an active role in the discouragement and suppression of dissent – with disastrous consequences. The almost complete absence of protest from the left has emboldened the most right-wing elements inside and outside of the Obama administration to pursue and act on an ever more extreme agenda.

We are writing to you because, as well-known writers, bloggers and filmmakers with access to a range of old and new media, you have in your power the capacity to help reignite the movement which brought millions onto the streets in February of 2003 but which has withered ever since. There are many thousands of progressives who follow your work closely and are waiting for a cue from you and others to act. We are asking you to commit yourself to actively supporting the protests of Obama administration policies which are now beginning to materialize.

In this connection we would like to mention a specific protest: the civil disobedience action being planned by Veterans for Peace involving Chris Hedges, Daniel Ellsberg, Joel Kovel, Medea Benjamin, Ray McGovern, several armed service veterans and others to take place in front of the White House on Dec. 16th.

Should you commit yourselves to backing this action and others sure to materialize in weeks and months ahead, what would otherwise be regarded as an emotional outburst of the “fringe left” will have a better chance of being seen as expressing the will of a substantial majority not only of the left, but of the American public at large. We believe that your support will help create the climate for larger and increasingly disruptive expressions of dissent – a development that is sorely needed and long overdue.

We hope that we can count on you to exercise the leadership that is required of all of us in these desperate times.

It was rumored that the first lady was waiting for her emasculated hubby so he had to leave the press conference early. I think it more likely that no one cared what he had to say so he just took a walk.

The Republican traitors in the Senate have blocked the Zadroga bill which would have helped the 9/11 heroes who suffer from physical ails that resulted from the poisoned air around ground zero in NYC…

Why? You guessed it. These pieces of dog shit have sworn to obstruct any and all legislation unless their precious Tax Cuts for their wealthy masters are implemented.
Filthy little treasonous, punk-ass bitches.

Fortunately, House Democrats have slammed the door on the Bush Welfare for the Wealthy while Obama’s fingers were in it. And I hope it hurts like a motherfucker.

Senate Democrat leaders could bring it to the floor again or attach it to other must-pass legislation in the final days of the lame-duck session next week. But Democrat insiders admit that’s a long shot.

Next year, the bill would face an uphill battle to pass the Republican-controlled House.

Gillibrand has said this was “the last, best chance” to pass it.

All 41 Senate Republicans present – including a at least a couple who like the bill – carried out their threat to block every bill until Senate Democrats finalize the deal to extend all the Bush-era tax cuts. A single Republican, Kansas Sen. Sam Brownback, was not present.

“The idea that tax cuts for millionaires would derail this legislation is simply outrageous and offensive,” Gillibrand said after the vote. “The men and women who rushed to the burning towers and worked for hundreds of hours on the pile did not delay and the Senate should not have delayed either, certainly not to give tax breaks for millionaires. We should not have to wait for tax deals to do what’s right.”

Senate Majority Leader Harry Ried (D-Nev.) cast the sole Democrat vote against the measure, a procedural move that gives him the option to bring the bill up again later. Senate Democrat leaders expected the bill to fail but went ahead anyway with the vote.

Before the vote, Sen. Chuck Schumer warned Republicans that their excuses for killing the bill would “ring very, very hollow” for 9/11 heros.

“This should not be a partisan issue,” he said on the Senate floor. “I beg, I plead, I implore two great colleagues from the other side of the aisle – join us.”

He said it was “our last call . . . to step up to the plate.”

At this point I think the best thing that could happen to this country is for some grave ailment to befall traitors like Mitch “the Bitch” McConnell, Jon Kyl, Sam Brownback, Lamar Alexander and the rest of these pathetic sub-humanoids and they all just die. Just fucking die.
They serve no purpose on this earth other than to provide for the rich while robbing the middle class and the poor… The hard working Americans who struggle daily to succeed while these conservative parasites accept money from the corporate dogs and spoiled little rich brats they spread their old, crusty, sawdust-fartin’ asses for.

Become diseased and perish. That’s all I ask of Congressional Republicans. Fuck them, fuck their families and fuck those who vote for and support them.

Some folks rock, some folks suck. Distinguishing between the two is an easy task.

1) Barack Obama is a Pussy: Zero

I really hate to say it, but what is true is true. Obama’s willingness to fall upon bended knee in the face of Republicans and a few BlueDogshit Democrats is enough to make any real man want to puke his guts out.
In the past Barack Obama has railed against the wealthiest groups in America and the fact that they often pay no taxes whatsoever while the middle class carries the burden. Today, Barack Obama is poised to hand millionaires a bailout at the expense of the national debt.

Of course, Republicans were prepared to allow unemployed Americans to go broke and starve if they didn’t get the tax breaks for their mega-rich masters, but just because Republicans have to wrap their dick-suckers around the wealthiest meat dangling in front of them doesn’t mean Obama has to bob and kneel along with them.
But he has, and he’s a coward for doing so.
Allowing the Republican fucksticks to shit on unemployed Americans unless the rich benefit first is treasonous to the American people and an absolute failure of leadership of Bush-like proportions.

The Bush Tax Cuts should not be extended at all. Not to you, not to me, not to anyone. That is the best way to fix the deficit.

Still not wishing that I voted for Hillary in the primary. She would have caved far quicker and further. But I can’t help but wonder if there’s a Democratic Presidential contender out there somewhere that actually has a code of honor and principals they would stick to.

Perhaps there is….

Dismissing President Obama’s embrace of Republican demands for tax breaks for billionaires and a massive estate-tax exemption for millionaires as “an absolute disaster and an insult to the vast majority of the American people,” Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has promised to “do whatever I can to see that 60 votes are not acquired to pass this piece of legislation.”
The White House was trying to sell the deal Tuesday morning as a necessary bargain—meeting all the major demands of Congressional Republicans in order to achieve an extension of unemployment benefits. But Sanders was not buying that line. The senator said the Republican determination to hold jobless aid hostage to get a better deal for the rich was an “insult” and an “outrage,” and he said it was “absolutely wrong” for Democrats to cut deals with them.

As supportive as I’ve tried to be, I will not vote for Barack Obama a second time. That is final. The truth is not in him, and where truth is not you will not find me.

2) Long Live Julian Assange: Hero

We mentioned previously that Wikileaks mastermind Julian Assange was doomed to be destroyed by the CIA’s smear machine and that is exactly what is happening.
Having been demonized, slandered and denied bail after turning himself in to authorities in England, Assange is now at the mercy of pissy politicians and clown-like world leaders who seemingly don’t like being caught in lies and compromising positions and exposed to the world for the fools that they are.

Now, thankfully, some of Julian’s most ardent admirers, who happen to be pro-open gov’t and hackers too, are waging cyber war against those who have falsely accused Julian Assange. Mastercard, Pay-Pal, the Swedish Nazi-Like gov’t, Amazon and others are now feeling the wrath of “Anonymous”. A loose-knit group of hackers who have taken exception to Assange’s treatment.
If you remember, the Wikileaks website was attacked by Fascist hacker and Fantasy Veteran “Jester". Two can surely play at that game.

Normally I don’t like hackers, but when they serve the interests of the global public, I can dig it. Keep up the good work Wikileaks. I love to see these “world leaders” (Bush, Obama and Clinton included) squirm like the worms that they are.

And by the way… it has been found out that one of the skanky sluts that are falsely accusing Julian Assange of sexual impropriety is heavily connected to the CIA through an anti-Castro group called Las damas de blanco (the Ladies in White)….

3) Obama says he’ll “fight to end tax cuts for the rich", the same ones he just approved of yesterday, in “2012″: Zero

Yeah, right. Fuck you, sir.

4) Oregon Senator Wyden Blocks Internet Censorship Legislation: Hero

The monster is called “Combating Online Infringements and Counterfeits Act,” (COICA). The great Progressive Senator from Oregon, Ron Wyden, has successfully blocked it’s implementation by placing a “hold” on it. Such a Senatorial hold all but kills the bill. It’s only hope of survival is to be reintroduced during the convening of the next Congress. We hope that by then the bi-partisan dickheads in the Senate Judiciary Committee will come to their senses and scrap this freedom infringing bullshit.

One of the legislation’s most prolific supporters is none other than that pathetic little Zionist puke, Joe Lieberman. Why? That should be nothing new to anyone that’s been paying attention to the skulduggery in the Conservative bowels of DC.
Activist group DemandProgress, which is running a petition against the bill, argued the powers in the bill could be used for political purposes. If the whistleblower Web site WikiLeaks is found to be hosting copyrighted material, for instance, access to WikiLeaks could be blocked for all US Internet users, they suggested.

A group of academics, led by Temple University law professor David Post, have signed a petition opposing COICA.

“The Act, if enacted into law, would fundamentally alter U.S. policy towards Internet speech, and would set a dangerous precedent with potentially serious consequences for free expression and global Internet freedom,”

A big thanx to Democratic Senator Ron Wyden. One of the few Senators of courage we have left in this country.

5) Elizabeth Edwards Dead at age 61: Hero

Imagine. She endured Cancer, raising a family, the death of a child in his youthful prime, infidelity by her husband…and she never showed anything but unbelievable courage.
May you rest in God’s grace for all eternity, wonderful lady. You are an inspiration to all and one of the greatest Americans to ever grace this land with your presence.
